This paper reviews the relationships between diverse ecological design strategies and competing conceptions of ecological approach in place making. It focuses conceptual trends of what we categorize a building "green" and outlines a social constructive perspective on the development of sustainable architecture. This study classifies seven logics of ecological design-eco-technical, eco-aesthetical, eco-social, eco-medical, eco-renewable, eco-cultural, eco-central - which have their roots in competing philosophies of environmentalism. In my analysis of the logics concerning sustainable architecture, the adapted and incorporated technology from high-tech to low-tech levels is a key issue. These points lead us to propose a way that each logic configures the technological approaches and alternative visions of sustainable places. This paper discusses the implications of the competent nature of plural ecological design perspectives for architectural education, practice, and researches.

This study investigates the effects of benefits pursued to clothing on the purchase intention of wellbeing oriented apparel products (eco-friendly and health-functional apparel). Data were collected from a total of 251 Korean females ranging from 20 to 50 years old and analyzed by SEM. Pragmatic benefit positively affected but aesthetical benefits negatively affected the purchase intention of eco-friendly apparel and health-functional apparel. The social benefit influenced the purchase intention of health-functional apparel but did not influence the purchase intention of eco-friendly apparel.

Today, our indoor space requires a user-centered considering design that satisfies even human sensitivity. The word 'sensitivity' is being frequently used in the design market recently and this means that consumers are becoming more sensitive. For this reason, the characteristics of Toyo Ito's architecture, which are innocent due to its natural structure and materials, are suggested as a sensitive lighting stand design which can relieve users' stress from daily life and bring a psychological stability. As such, sensitivity lighting can create a lighting environment that considers consumers in various spaces along with the development of new scientific technologies and develop in a new direction of aesthetical beauty and eco-friendly area. In this study, a natural and sensitive lighting stand is suggested where a variety of digital art techniques of LED are applied based on formative characteristics of relationship, one of Toyo Ito's architectural concept factors. Such sensitivity lighting designs can not only realize a type-free design but also suggest a creation of the atmosphere which is close to nature.
