MAGNETOMETER 측정자료와 지구자기장을 이용한 소형 인공위성의 자세 결정 (ATTITUDE DETERMINATION OF MICRO-SATELLITE USING GEOMAGNETISE AND MAGNETOMETER DATA)

  • 인공위성의 자세결정을 위해 3축 magnetometer에 의해 측정된 지구 자기장의 자료와 IGRF 모델(tilted-eccentric dipole 모델)을 사용하였다. 지구자기장 모델으 값들을 계산하여 magnetometer 측정자료들과 비교해 보았고 이것으로부터 두 자세각 $\alpha$ 각과 $\beta$들을 구하였다. 이 두 각들을 이용하여 자세결정에 사용되는 Z 축과 자기장의 수직성분 사이의 실 자세각 $\gamma$ 에 대한 bound $\gamma1$$\gamma2$를 계산하여 UoSAT-11, 14, 22의 자세 상태를 알아보았다.

가변속 왕복동형 압축기 크랭크축-베어링계의 동적 거동 해석 (Dynamic Behavior Analysis of a Crankshaft-Bearing System in Variable Speed Reciprocating Compressor)

  • The hermetic reciprocating compressor driven by the BLDC motor rotating with variable speeds, is modelled and analyzed for dynamic characteristics. The governing equations of piston, connecting rod and crank-shaft of the reciprocating compression mechanism and characteristics of driving torque of the motor are obtained. Dynamic behavior of the crankshaft supported on 2 journal bearings is analyzed considering compression load and eccentric unbalance for the 4 rotating speeds of crankshaft. And. reaction forces generated from oil film in the journal bearings are analyzed under transient condition using Reynolds' equation. To take into account the dynamic characteristics depending on the variable rotating speeds, comparison on the dynamic behavior of crank-shaft is made for the 4 operating modes of the compressor. Results show that the magnitude of crankshaft locioperating on the lower rotating speeds is more larger than the higher ones due to reduction of inertia force of the reciprocating piston.

응력집중의 영향을 고려한 알루미늄합금 A5083-O의 피로균열전파 특성 예측모델 (A Model Estimating the Fatigue Crack Growth in Aluminum Alloy A5083-O Considering the Effect of Stress Concentration)

  • In this study the fatigue crack growth behavior was investigated for the surface cracks in aluminum alloy A5083-O plate and its weldment. Several kinds of specimens were tested at room temperature. The Eccentric specimens(E1.0, E2.5) subjected to combined stresses(tension+bending) were tested and the welded specimens with weld toes(TOE1, TOE2) were tested in order to verify the method to consider the stress concentration such as weld toe. It was ascertained that the surface crack growth property in the weld toe could be predicted by the corrected Pang's equation proposed in this study.

  • The eccentric rotor system has various problems by vibration of unbalance mass. Specially, it is difficult to analyze vibration problem for the drum washing machine due to correlation of transmission paths. We analyze the mechanical structure by multidimensional spectral density to identify the maximum vibration magnitude at the frequency domain. It estimates the coherence function of the signals to pass the transmission paths. In case of the drum washing machine, because the transmission paths are correlated partially it needs to determinate the priority ranking. And the correlated parts are eliminated using conditioned spectral density function. Finally the shielding effect method confirms the reasonability of the modeling.

편심압축하중을 받는 사각튜브의 최대압괴하중 (Maximum Crippling Load in Eccentrically Compressed rectangular Tubes)

  • This paper describes the collapse characteristics of the rectangular tube under eccentric compressive load. Local buckling stress and maximum crippling load are investigated. A thin-walled tube under load is controlled by local buckling or yielding of material according to the ratio of thickness to width (t/b) of the cross section, and subsequent collapse of the section. The relationship can be divided into three regions : elastic , post-buckling and crippling . the load-displacement relationship is theoretically presented in each region by introducing the stress distribution of the cross section in the loading process. And the maximum load carrying capacity is derived in the closed form as a function of normal stress on the flange and web.

  • One of noticeable features in the cross flow fan is that a working fluid passes through impeller blade twice without distinction between the inlet and exit angles. Also, it does produce higher circumferential velocity than other types of blade at the same flow rate in accordance with the application of the forward curved shape. However, a design theory for the cross-flow fan has not yet been formed owing to an eccentric vortex, which is the remarkable characteristics, occurred in a cross-flow fan. Furthermore, the eccentric vortex, which is difficult to control of the size and position, is the important cause of performance decrease. In this study, experiments are carried out to estimate the similarity of the cross-flow fan with various scales and rotational velocity changes. Pressure coefficients to flow coefficients with various scales of the cross-flow fan are plotted to research the application of the general similarity law of the turbomachinery in the cross-flow fan with Archimedes spital, which is the important factor haying an effect on it.

A curvature method for beam-column with different materials and arbitrary cross-section shapes

  • This paper presents a curvature method for analysis of beam-columns with different materials and arbitrary cross-section shapes and subjected to combined biaxial moments and axial load. Both material and geometric nonlinearities (the p-delta effect in this case) were incorporated. The proposed method considers biaxial curvatures and uniform normal strains of discrete cross-sections of beam-columns as basic unknowns, and seeks for a solution of the column deflection curve that satisfies force equilibrium conditions. A piecewise representation of the beam-column deflection curve is constructed based on the curvatures and angles of rotation of the segmented cross-sections. The resulting bending moments were evaluated based on the deformed column shape and the axial load. The moment curvature relationship and the beam-column deflection calculation are presented in matrix form and the Newton-Raphson method is employed to ensure fast and stable convergence. Comparison with results of analytic solutions and eccentric compression tests of wood beam-columns implies that this method is reliable and effective for beam-columns subjected to eccentric compression load, lateral bracings and complex boundary conditions.

Geometrically Nonlinear Analysis of Eccentrically Stiffened Plates

  • A displacement-based finite element method Is presented for the geometrically nonlinear analysis of eccentrically stiffened plates. A nonlinear degenerated shell element and a nonlinear degenerated eccentric isoparametric beam (isobeam) element are formulated on the basis of Total Agrangian and Updated Lagrangian descriptions. In the formulation of the isobeam element, some additional local decrees of freedom are implementd to describe the stiffener's local plate buckling modes. Therefore this element can be effectively employed to model the eccentric stiffener with fewer D.O.F's than the case of a degenerated shell element. Some detailed buckling and nonlinear analyses of an eccentrically stiffened plate are performed to estimate the critical buckling loads and the post buckling behaviors including the local plate buckling of the stiffeners discretized with the degenerated shell elements and the isobeam elements. The critical buckling loads are found to be higher than the analytical plate buckling load but lower than Euler buckling load of the corresponding column, i.e, buckling strength requirements of the Classification Societies for the stiffened plates.

편심을 받은 고강도 콘크리트 기둥의 출력-모멘트 강도에 관한 실험 및 해석적 연구 (An Experimental and Analytical Study on Axial Force-Moment Capacity of High-Strength Concrete Column under Eccentric Loads)

  • High strength concrete is a more effective material for columns subject to axial force and moment than for other structural elements. The purpose of this study is to review strength calculation methods for high strength concrete columus by comparison of analytical values and experimental results. The variables of column test under eccentric loading were concrete compressive strength, longitudinal steel ratio, and eccentricity of load. The tied column sections of 120×120mm and 210×210mm were tested and the eccentricity of load varied in the range from 0.16 times to 0.54 times the column depth. The analytical results using the stress-strain relationship to 0.54 times the column depth. The analytical results using the stress-strain relationship as well as the ACI's rectangular block, Zia's modified block, and the trapezoidal block are compared with experimentally obtained data, and discussed in this paper.

광대역 특성을 갖는 변형된 원형 링 마이크로스트립 슬롯 안테나 (A Broadband Eccentric Annular Ring Microstrip Slot Antenna)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 원형 링 마이크로스트립 슬롯 안테나의 협대역 특징을 개선하기 위해서 변형된 원형링 마이크로스트립 슬롯 안테나를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 비대칭 슬롯을 가지며 일반적인 마이크로스트립 라인으로 급전하였다. 이 안테나를 시간 영역 유한 차분법(FDTD)을 이용하여 최적화 한 후, 제작.측정하였다. 논문에서 제안된 안테나는 VSWR<2를 기준으로 1 octave 이상의 광대역 특성을 얻을 수 있었으며, 이는 기존의 원형 링 마이크로스트립 슬롯 안테나의 단점인 협대역 특성을 같은 크기에서 획기적으로 개선한 것이다.
