유튜브 플랫폼을 통한 외식 문화 수용에 대한 소비자 주관성 연구 (A Study on the Subjectivity of Consumers to Accept the Culture of Eating out through the YouTube Platform)

  • 본 연구는 현재 많이 사용하고 있는 플랫폼 중 하나인 유튜브를 통한 외식문화 수용이 소비자 인식에 관한 주관성 연구를 가지고 유튜브 플랫폼을 사용하는 소비자 입장에서 어떤 효과가 있는지를 파악하고 유튜브 플랫폼을 통한 외식 문화 수용으로 인하여 얻을 수 있는 마케팅 효과를 설립하기 위하여 소비자 주관적 관점을 파악하고 분석하고자 Q-방법론을 선택하였고 탐색적 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 진술문카드를 응답자가 분류하는 방식으로 분석 작업을 행하였고 Q모집단을 선정하여 구성한 후 이를 통해 진술문을 작성하여 P샘플을 선정한 후 분류작업을 통해 얻어지는 Q-sort를 PC QUANL 프로그램을 사용하여 Q요인분석을 통해 분석 실행하였다. 분석결과 총 4가지의 유형으로 분류 되었으며 제1유형[(N=6): 선호음식과 대리만족형], 제2유형[(N=3): 비감성 선호음식형], 제3유형[(N=14): 정보획득 선호음식형], 제4유형[(N=2): 부정형] 등으로 각 유형마다 각각의 특징이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 나온 각각의 주관적 의견은 추후 다양한 연구에 도움이 될 것이며 향후 유튜브 관련 마케팅 및 소비자 외식 문화 수용에 참고자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

강화군(江華郡) 교동도(喬桐島) 및 삼산도내(三山島內) 학교입구(學校入口)의 폐흡충감염(肺吸虫感染) 조사(調査) (A Survey on Paragonimus Infection Among School Population in Kyodong and Samsan Island, Gangwha-Gun)

  • Paragonimus westermani is one of the most popular endemic parasitic diseases in Korea. The nation-wide prevalence survey were carried out by Gobayashi (1921) with sputum examination and by Walton and Chyu (1959) with the intradermal skin test respectively. Recent studies showed the decline of positive rate in intradermal skin test of the local inhabitants and also showed the less distribution of intermediate host. The fact seemed that caused by economic improvement of village people, decrease of intermediate host by increasing use of pesticides, becoming lower water level at streams and rivers and better irrigation and finally by better community health education etc. Gangwha area of Gyeonggi-Do was found out as an endemic area of Paragonimus westermani through some studies in the past, however, in the vicinity area of Gangwha, the study in Kyodong island (myon) was carried out in 1965 by Yun et al. Therefore author carried out the intradermal skin test for 2,380 students of primary, middle and high school in Kyodong island and Samsan island. The results showed as follows : 1) The positive rate of intradermal test for paragonimus westermani infection showed positive in 152 among 1,845 students (8.2%) in Kyodong island, and 21 among 637 students (3.3%) in Samsan island respectively. 2) According to grade levels, 49 among 973 students (5.0%) in primary school, 62 among 962 students (6.4%) in middle school and 53 among 445 students (11.9%) in high school showed positive rate. This showed the higher grade the higher positive rate. 3) Among these total 164 positive cases in the intradermal skin test, only in 3 cases eggs were found in sputum. 4) Finding out the intermediate host, only 28 crayfishes from Kyodong island and 12 from Samsan island were collected and examined for metacercaria infection, however, none of metacercaria was found. 5) As a control group, 2 primary schools from the main island were selected. In these schools from the sixth grade students showed positive rate of 4.8% in Naega primary school and 0% in Hajeom Primary school respectively. Those results showed much decrease than studies carried out in the past. 6) The survey for food habit showed that 15 among 1,274 students (1.2%) had experiences of eating raw intermediate host(crayfish) and 266 among 988 students (27.0%) ate cooked.

영양권장량과 식사구성안에 대한교과서 내용 분석 및 학생의 이해도 연구 (A Study of Textbook Contents Analysis and Students' Understanding on the Korean Recommended Dietary Allowance and Food Guide in Middle School Home Economics Education)

  • 본 연구는 양적, 질적으로 균형있는 식생활을 하기 위한 기본적인 지식이 된다고 여겨지는 영양권장량과 식사구성안에 대하여 중학교 1학년 기술${\cdot}$ 가정 교과서 10종의 내용을 분석하였고 중학교 1학년 학생의 영양권장량과 식사 구성안에 대한 이해도를 살펴보았다. 영양권장량과 식사구성안에 대한 교과서 설명이 대부분 충분하지 못한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 영양권장량과 영양필요량의 차이에 대하여 오해를 일으킬 만한 표현들이 많았다. 그리고 식사구성안에 대한 정의 규정이 대체로 미흡하였으며, 식품구성탑과 1인 1회 분량에 대하여 표현이 정확하지 못하였거나 또는 실제 식품 예에서 오류가 있었던 교과서도 확인되었다. 학생 가운데 많은 수가 영양권장량이 대다수 국민의 영양 필요량을 충족시키는 여유있는 양임을 이해하지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 식사구성안에 있어 식품구성탑은 다른 개념에 비해 비교적 이해도가 높았으나, 1인 1회 분량은 정확히 이해하지 못하는 경향을 보였다. 결과적으로 영양권장량과 식사구성안의 정의와 설명을 포함하는 기술${\cdot}$가정 교과서의 내용 수정 및 보완이 필요하며. 또한 학생의 이해도를 확인할 수 있는 조사도구 개발의 후속 연구가 필요하다고 생각한다.

외식소비자의 라이프스타일에 따른 전통주 선택속성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Selection Attributes of Traditional Liquor by Life-style of Eating-out Consumers)

  • 본 연구는 전통주의 소비시장을 세분화하고 관련 산업에 시사점을 제안하고자 전통주를 음용하는 외식 소비자를 대상으로 그들의 라이프스타일과 전통주 선택속성을 측정하여 그 차이를 규명하고 전통주 선택속성 중에서 구매만족에 미치는 변수를 찾는데 있다. 조사대상은 서울의 대도시 상권에 소재한 민속주점을 이용하고 있는 20대 이상의 성인으로 하였으며, 조사기간은 2010년 8월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 수행하였다. 분석결과, 전통주와 관련된 외식소비자의 라이프스타일은 사회형, 마니아형, 지식추구형, 문외형으로 분류되었고, 전통주 라이프스타일에 따른 소비자 그룹은 군집분석에 의해 전문가, 애호가, 초보자, 무관심자로 구분되었다. 그리고 전통주 선택속성은 전통주의 특성요인, 맛과 향요인, 대중성요인, 조화요인, 관심 요인 등 총 6개 요인으로 나타났다. 검증결과, 외식소비자의 라이프스타일과 분류된 소비자의 그룹 간에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었고, 전통주 선택속성과의 차이점에도 유의한 것으로 나타났으며 소비자의 그룹에 따른 전통주에 대한 선택속성에도 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 마지막으로 전통주 선택속성은 구매만족에 부분적으로 영향관계에 있는 것으로 조사되었으며, 이중 맛과 향, 대중성이 긍정적인 정(+)의 관계에 있는 것으로 나타났다.

脾氣虛證(비기허증) 진단평가도구 개발 연구 (Study on the Development of a Standard Instrument of Diagnosis and Assessment for Spleen Qi Deficiency Pattern)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop a standard instrument of diagnosis and assessment for spleen qi deficiency pattern. Methods: Reports published in Korea and China related to spleen qi deficiency pattern were selected. Assessments of selected references were performed to select major symptoms of spleen qi deficiency pattern. Korean translation and review by a Korean linguist were performed to create a draft of [Standard instrument of diagnosis and assessment for spleen qi deficiency (for subject)]. The final [Standard instrument of diagnosis and assessment for spleen qi deficiency (for subject)] was completed after assessment on inclusion or exclusion, on importance of items and on validity of translation by an expert committee, consisting of professors from the National College of Korean Medicine. Results & Conclusions: 1. 14 major symptoms were selected by frequency from 45 references which were related to standard identification of spleen qi deficiency pattern, translated into Korean and reviewed by a Korean linguist. 2. 11 symptoms were selected after assessment on inclusion yes or no by the expert group. Items were listed in order of importance: tiredness of extremities (肢体倦怠), sallow complexion (面色萎黃), reduced appetite (食欲减退), abdominal distension after eating (腹胀食後尤甚), inability to eat (納少), pale tongue and white fur (舌淡苔白), lethargy (神疲), emaciation (消瘦), loose stool (大便溏薄), shortness of breath and reluctance to speak (少氣懶言), and weak pulse (脈緩弱). 3. Final [Standard instrument of diagnosis and assessment for spleen qi deficiency (for subject)] was completed after assessment of translation validity, reflection of individual opinions by the expert committee, and application of weighted value computed from assessment on importance of items.

치위생과 학생의 구강건강 지식과 행동변화 (Behavioral changes of dental hygiene course students according to oral health knowledge)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence which the professional dental hygiene education has on the knowledge and behavioral change for oral health to the students in the departments of dental hygiene. Methods : 771 students in the first grade and 646 students in the third grade who were attending the departments of dental hygiene from 12 colleges in Korea were surveyed. The self-administered questionnaires were distributed to the students in the colleges during May and asked them to answer the questions and then recovered them on the spot. The collected questionnaires were analyzed by using a SPSS/PC program and the difference of significance depending on the group of the students was tested by Chi-square test or Fisher's exact probability test. Results : In the number of eating snacks by the students during one day, 2-3 times was the highest, irrespectively of the grade. The rate of the students brushing their teeth after snack was higher in the third-grade students(34.8%) than in the first-grade students(20.8%). As the path of acquiring oral health knowledge, all of the first-grade and third-grade students replied that their school classes had impacted them the most. The rate of toothache experience was a higher tendency in third-grade students compared to the first-grade students(p=0.116). The rate of gingival bleeding experience was lower in the third-grade students than in the first-grade students. The rate of oral prophylaxis experience was higher in the third-grade students than in the first-grade students. In the smoking rate, there was lower in the third-grade students than in the first-grade students. The rate of acknowledging smoking hazard to the periodontal health was higher in the third-grade students than in the first-grade students. Conclusions : This study revealed that the third-grade students of dental hygiene departments who were majoring in dental hygiene had a higher perception of oral health than the first-grade students whose the dental hygiene education period was short.

시상출혈(視床出血)의 임상적(臨床的) 관찰(觀察) (Clinical Studies on Thalamic Hemorrhage)

  • Clinical studies were made on 79 cases with thalamic hemorrhage diagnosed by computed tomographic scan and only localized on the thalamic area, were admitted to the Kyung San University Taegu Oriental Medical Hospital from August 1990 to March 1994. The age and sex distribution, sites of hematoma, recurrence rate, incidence of hypertension, inducing factor, prodromal syndroms, symptoms and neurologic signs on admission, relationship between the hospital course and many factors affecting the prognosis such as age, side of hematoma, level of consciousness, volume of the hematoma. ventricular hemorrhage were analysed. The results were summarized as follows; 1. The most prevalent age group was above 60 years of age with 50-59 years, 70-79 years, 40-49 years and 80-89 years of age in the order of frequency. Male to female ratio was 1:1.55. 2. The ratio of left hematoma to the right was 1.32:1. The recurrence rate of cerebrovascular accident was 17.7% 3. The incidence of hypertension was 69.6% and inducing factors of thalamic hemorrhage in the order of frequency were physical work(29.1%), drinking or eating(13.9%), walking(12.7%) and rest(12.7%), The prodromal syndroms were numbness of extremities(5.1%), headache(2.5%), fatigue(2.5%), dizziness(1.3%), insomnia(1.3%), but prodromal syndrom was not found in 89.9% of thalamic hemorrhage. 4. The symptoms and neurologic signs on admission in the order of frequency were motor disturbance(98.7%), dysarthria(82.3%), positive Babinski sign(78.5%), headache(69.6%), dizziness(62.0%). hemisensory deficit(48.1%). nausea or vomiting(39.2%), absent or sluggish light reflex(35.4%), changes of consciousness (35.4%), dysphagia (20.3%), voiding difficulty.(13.9%), facial palsy(6.3%), aphasia(3.8%), seizure(38%), 6th N. palsy(3.8%) and small pupil(1.3%). 5. The rate of improvement was found almost equally in the 4th, 5th and 6th decades, but it was shown with dramatic decrease in the over 7th decades. The hospital course had no relationship with the side of hematoma but the level of consciousness had influence upon the prognosis. 6, The small hematoma had better outcome than large in the volume of hematoma under 15cc, but volume of the hematoma had no influence upon the prognosis because the rate of improvement was 75.0% in the volume of hematoma over 15cc. The hospital course had no relationship with ventricular hemorrhage.

Effects of Physically Effective Neutral Detergent Fiber Content on Intake, Digestibility, and Chewing Activity in Fattening Heifer Fed Total Mixed Ration

  • The objective of this study was to determine the effects of physically effective neutral detergent fiber (peNDF) content in total mixed ration (TMR) on dry matter intake, digestibility, and chewing activity in fattening Hanwoo (Bos taurus coreanae) heifers. The experiment was designed as a replicated $3{\times}3$ Latin square using 12 heifers. Fattening heifers were offered one of three diets [high (T1), medium (T2), and low (T3) peNDF] obtained by different mixing times (3, 10, and 25 min) for the same TMR feed. The peNDF content of TMR was determined by multiplying the proportion of dry matter retained by a 1.18 mm-screen in a Penn State Particle Separator by the dietary NDF content. The $peNDF_{1.18}$ content was 30.36%, 29.20%, and 27.50% for the T1, T2, and T3 diets, respectively (p<0.05). Dry matter intake was not affected by peNDF content in TMR. Total weight gain in T1 group was significantly higher (p<0.05) than in T2 and T3 groups. However, weight gain did not differ between T2 and T3 groups. The feed conversion ratio decreased with an increase in the peNDF content (T1: 12.18, T2: 14.17, and T3: 14.01 g/g). An increase in the peNDF content of TMR was associated with a linear increase in the digestibility of dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber, neutral detergent fiber, and acid detergent fiber (p<0.05). Also, an increase in peNDF content of the TMR resulted in a linear increase in the number of chews in eating and ruminating (p<0.05), and consequently in the number of total chews (p<0.05). These results indicate that peNDF content affects digestibility and chewing activity. Consequently, the peNDF content of TMR should be considered for improving feed efficiency, digestibility, body weight gain, and performance in fattening heifers.

Dietary supplementation with combined extracts from garlic (Allium sativum), brown seaweed (Undaria pinnatifida), and pinecone (Pinus koraiensis) improves milk production in Holstein cows under heat stress conditions

  • Objective: This study was conducted to examine the effects of a mixture of pinecone oil, garlic, and brown seaweed extracts (PGBE) on milk production traits as well as physiological and ethological parameters in Holstein cows during the summer season (24 May to 03 July 2015, Korea). Methods: Among the extract combinations tested, we found that the level of 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethylberzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) cation radical scavenging activity of the 0.16% PBGE complex at ratio of 1:1:1 (vol/vol) was comparable to that of the control (ascorbic acid; 1 mg/mL). Additionally, the PBGE complex reduced lipopolysaccharide-induced COX-2 expression in bovine mammary epithelial cells. Based on these findings, 40 lactating Holstein cows were used to measure the effects of PBGE complex at ratio of 1:1:1 (vol/vol) on milk production, immune response, metabolites, and behavior patterns by dividing the cows into two groups fed diets containing PGBE complex (n = 20; 0.016%/kg feed dry matter basis) or not containing PGBE complex (control, n = 20) for 40 d. Results: Results showed that PGBE complex did not influence milk composition, eating and ear surface temperature patterns, immune response, or metabolic parameters but promoted average milk yield throughout the experimental period. Additionally, a tendency of higher total antioxidant capacity and glutathione in the PGBE group was observed compared to the those in the control. When the temperature-humidity index (THI) exceeded 72 (average THI = 73.8), PGBE complex-fed cows experiencing heat stress showed increased milk yield and a tendency of increased rumination compared to the control. Conclusion: We suggest that incorporation of a combined mixture of 0.016% PGBE (1:1:1 ratio, vol/vol) to diet has the potential to improve milk yield and health status of cows under mild to moderate heat stress, denoting that it might be useful as an alternative anti-stressor in the diet of dairy cows under hot conditions.

한국 성인의 커피 섭취량에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Coffee Intake in Korean Adults)

  • 본 연구는 한국 성인들이 커피 섭취 시 어떠한 상황에 가장 많이 마시게 되는지를 살펴보고, 커피 섭취와 건강증진에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이 연구는 국민건강영양조사 제7기 2차년도인 2017년 원시 데이터를 활용하였고, 연구대상자는 만 19세 이상 성인에 대해 결측값을 제외한 3,325명이었다. 이는 최근 1년간 커피의 평균 섭취량이 1잔 이상인 경우만을 추출한 수이다. 커피 섭취량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 일반적 특성으로 성별, 연령, 가구소득, 교육수준, 직업, 건강행태로는 흡연여부, 음주여부, 일 및 여가로서 고강도, 중강도, 걷기 신체활동 실천 여부, 수면시간, 스트레스, 우울여부 등에 영항을 받는지를 모형에 포함하였다. 연구결과 남자보다 여자의 커피 섭취량이 낮았고, 20-39세보다 40-64세, 무직보다는 육체적 직업, 비흡연자보다는 흡연자, 낮은 스트레스보다 높은 스트레스를 받는 경우가 커피 섭취량을 증가시키는 요인이었다. 이러한 요인을 가진 대상자들은 커피 섭취에 의한 카페인 과다 섭취의 위험 군으로 판단된다. 본 연구결과의 위험 군을 대상자로 커피의 과다 섭취가 건강에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대한 연구가 추후 필요할 것으로 생각된다.
