Ujaegyeong(尤在涇) is a doctor of the Cheong Dynasty[淸代], whose works include "Geumgweyoryaksimjeon", "Shanghangwanjujip(傷寒貫珠集)", and "Uihakdokseogi(醫學讀書記)". Much research has been done on "Geumgweyoryaksimjeon" and "Shanghangwanjujip", but "Uihakdokseogi" has seen relatively little interest. This study aims to translate the first volume of "Uihakdokseogi" and compare the work with other literature in order to gain a better understanding of Ujaegyeong(尤在涇)'s medical theories and to review the viability of the said theories in practice. "Uihakdokseogi" is a casual work which mentions U's thoughts on various problems found through extensive studying or in practice. The book does not focus on a single topic. Thus, the spectrum of the work is broad and is filled with problems which would interest most medical professionals.

As the flexible displays have been considered as a breakthrough to make a new electronics category, transparent electrodes have also confronted with an emerging issue, i.e., they also need to be mechanically flexible. For this to be made possible, a transparent electrode capable of withstanding large amounts of strain must be developed. Indium tin oxide (ITO) has been one of the most widely adopted transparent electrodes for displays and other transparent electronics, mainly supported by its high electrical conductivity and optical transparency. However, its brittle nature has forced the display industry to search for other alternatives. Recently, advances in nano-material researches have opened the door for various transparent conductive materials, which include carbon nanotube, graphene, Ag and Cu nanowire, and printable metal grids. Here we reviewed recently-published research works introducing flexible displays, all of which are employing the novel candidates for a conducting material.

This study describes not only meaning of transformable, i.e., new paradigm being expanded since the 1990's, but also nomadic thoughts being formation background of transformable. In this study, the concept of ‘transformable’ has dictionary definition and theoretical background expressing art, architecture and products, etc. The author has examined relations between nomadic thoughts and ‘transformable clothing’ by investigating the works of transformable clothing designers including Lucy Orta. The ‘transformable clothing’ means ‘clothing being transformable to meet some purposes’. Considering nomadic thoughts, 1.e., one of formation of transformable, the transformable clothing with nomadic thoughts can be transformed in various ways by usefulness and removal. The clothing has features of removal, escape and protection and has the values that can adapt itself to social circumstance and environment through the module system of separation, taking to pieces and assembling, etc. to suggest resonable clothing. Such a clothing cannot be settled down so that it shall be developed to let modern people move continuously as the 21th century nomad between real world and virtual world. However, this study did not examine internal meaning sufficiently because of main investigation objects of external expression, and was limited to nomadic thought at formation background. To improve such things, another study will be made in the future.

The theory of stack filtering, which is a generalization of median filtering, is used to the detection of intensity edges in noisey images. The proposed approach, called the Difference of Estimates(DoE) approach, is a new formulation of a morphological scheme which has been very sensitive to impulse noise. In this approach, stack filters are applied to a noisy image to obtain local estimates of the dilated and eroded versions of the noise-free image. Thresholding the difference between these two estimates yields the binary edge map. We find that this approach yields results comparable to those obtained with the Canny operator for images with additive Gaussian noise, burt works much better when the noise is impulsive.

This study focused on the games that were in the spotlight during the One Source Multi-use era, analyzing game based movies and the games. Through this, we wanted to examine the phenomena, changes, and in-depth meanings of the genre and grammar. Using Vogler's "12 Stages of the Hero Journey" and Greimas's "Model actantie" the three works of Need for Speed, Assassin Creed and Warcraft were cross-analyzed. Through this analysis, we looked at the structure of the discourse and identified the significant messages brought by the change in text.

Objectives This paper was aimed to review the preceding research on the origins, changes and constructive principle of Mahwangjeongchun-tang. Method Based on Jema Lee's works such as Dongyisusebowon and Dongmuyoogo, we analyzed contents related to Mahwangjeongchun-tang and its modification. Moreover, we reviewed physiological and pathological pecularities of Taeeumin symptomatology and applied the theory to induce the principle of the modified Mahwangjeongchun-tang in Sasang medicine. Results and Conclusion 1) The origins of Mahwangjeongchun-tang might be Mahwang-tang, Jungchun-tang and Saengmaek-san. 2) Mahwangjeongchun-tang had been changed in composition when it moved from Manbyonghoichun to Dongyisusebowon. 3) Mahwangjeongchun-tang consists of a) Platycodi Radix (桔梗), Liriopis Tuber(麥門冬) and Scutellariae Radix(黃芩) which directly or indirectly enhance lung function, b) Ephedra Sinica(麻黃) which affects circulation of lung companion, c) Prunus Armeniaca(杏仁) and Ginkgo Biloba(白果) which affect wiwan's upward circulatory force, d) Radish Seed (蘿葍子) which affects small intestine's digesting effect, e) Mori Cortex Radicis(桑白皮) and Farfarae Flos(款冬花) which affect cough and asthma.

The effectiveness of recommendation systems depends on the performance of the algorithms with which these systems are designed. The quality of the algorithms themselves depends on the quality of the strategies with which they were designed. These strategies differ from author to author. Thus, designing a good recommendation system means implementing the good strategies. It's in this context that several research works have been proposed on various strategies applied to algorithms to meet the needs of recommendations. Researchers are trying indefinitely to address this objective of seeking the qualities of recommendation algorithms. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm for recommending learning items. Learner performance predictions and collaborative recommendation methods are used as strategies for this algorithm. The proposed performance prediction model is based on convolutional neural networks (CNN). The results of the performance predictions are used by the proposed recommendation algorithm. The results of the predictions obtained show the efficiency of Deep Learning compared to the k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) algorithm. The proposed recommendation algorithm improves the recommendations of the learners' learning items. This algorithm also has the particularity of dissuading learning items in the learner's profile that are deemed inadequate for his or her training.

In the 21st century, the phenomenon of interaction in between fine art and design has become more increasingly prevalent. In this paper, the author has analyzed the major works of Spanish artist Eva $Armis{\dot{e}}n$ on a cultural criticism perspective, and has proposed a framework for a deeper understating of the artworks, which reflected the characteristics of contemporary art and culture such as deterritorialization of art and design. As a result, it has been found that the main theme of her artworks is about preferred attitude of a human being in relationship with others, unlike daily lives or innocence of childhood which are well-known subjects to the public. Her main female character could have been formed by blending all of her aesthetic reason, and characteristics of this era and cultural elements. It means that the area where the public enjoys the sense of beauty have been extending from the area of the beautiful to the beauty of universality. It has been found that deterriorialization phenomena, which is a characteristic of post-modern art and design work to dismantle an existing order, the repression, appeared in her work. However, several research areas of her works such as relationship between text and image or formative elements or aphorism etc. still have remained to be solved.

The ionosphere, the atmosphere of the earth ionized by solar radiations, has been strongly varied with solar activity. The ionosphere varies with the solar cycle, the seasons, the latitudes and during any given day. Radio wave propagation through or in the ionosphere is affected by ionospheric condition so that one needs to consider its effects on operating communication systems normally. For examples, sporadic E may form at any time. It occurs at altitudes between 90 to 140 km (in the E region), and may be spread over a large area or be confined to a small region. Sometimes the sporadic E layer works as a mirror so that the communication signal does not reach the receiver. And radiation from the Sun during large solar flares causes increased ionization in the D region which results in greater absorption of HF radio waves. This phenomenon is called short wave fade-outs. If the flare is large enough, the whole of the HF spectrum can be rendered unusable for a period of time. Due to events on the Sun, sometimes the Earth's magnetic field becomes disturbed. The geomagnetic field and the ionosphere are linked in complex ways and a disturbance in the geomagnetic field can often cause a disturbance in the F region of the ionosphere. An enhancement will not usually concern the HF communicator, but the depression may cause frequencies normally used for communication to be too high with the result that the wave penetrates the ionosphere. Ionospheric storms can occur throughout the solar cycle and are related to coronal mass ejections (CMEs) and coronal holes on the Sun. Except the above mentioned phenomena, there are a lot of things to affect the radio communication. Nowadays, radio technique for probing the terrestrial ionosphere has a tendency to use satellite system such as GPS. To get more accurate information about the variation of the ionospheric electron density, a TEC measurement system is necessary so RRL will operate the system in the near future.

When it comes to art, the two conflicting themes of 'scientific progress' and the 'nature' have often motivated the advent of the new mode of arts. By the late 20th century, uniform and simplified mode of arts, inspired by scientific and technological progress of that time, was gradually disillusioned by the contemporaries due to the adverse effect of science on human life. In this context, naturalism pursuing for harmony of human and the nature came up as an alternative to those living in the 21st century. The pendulum has swung from minimalism to naturalism. Though the quantitative improvement of human life cannot be denied, the uprise of such problems as environmental pollution and exhaustion of natural resources degraded the quality of human life, which, eventually, shifted the attention to the theme - 'revival of naturality.' Therefore, this thesis intends to represent the modem interpretation of the 'revival of naturality' by applying the major expressions of Art Nouveau that also emphasized naturalism. Art Nouveau found its motifs from organic figures of natural beings and put them to designs of decorative arts. This carries a historical significance in that Art Nouveau boldly revolutionized historicism, which only repeated adoption and modification of the existing modes of arts, and opened it to the modem design with new attempts to practical applications of the arts. Art Nouveau, which means 'new art', prospered from the late 19th century to the early 20th century, and even after one century, it is highly appreciated, reviving as novel and vivid forms in this contemporary art. Art Nouveau based on naturalism has revisited our contemporary period when naturalism and feminized romanticism came into fashion and its common motifs revive in different jenre of arts such as fashion, furniture, glass works, and jewelry works. This study illustrates and analyzes the works of four major artists who gave a specific attention to botanical motifs of Art Nouveau and applies decorative beauty of highly sophisticated and organic curved lines and the expressional forms of botanical figures to design. Art Nouveau proved this; the nature herself is as beautiful as she can be. Within Art Nouveau, the true humanism can be revitalized with the 'revival of naturality'. This study rediscovered the boundless potential of modern interpretation and application of Art Nouveau in decorative art and design.
