An Empirical Study of Influencing Factors of the Purchase Intention to the Internet Shopping Mall in Gangwon Region (강원지역 인터넷쇼핑몰의 구매의도 영향요인 분석)

  • In this study we presented the plans to activate the Internet Shopping Mall for GWmart under its present situation recording a rapid growth in sales and recognized as a local new distribution channel since its early stage, using the analysis that affects the purchases of consumers. On studying the reliance of a shopping mall, only the shopping mall image and the efficiency in providing information are significant. Regarding the concentration on the shopping site by shoppers, what becomes significant are the efficiency in providing information and the convenience in searching for products, which is one of the important factors in increasing sales, does not affect the reliance of a shopping mall and the concentration on the shopping site by shoppers. Therefore, this finding suggests that it is not easy to access the internet shopping mall when consumers go shopping for certain products. Because of this, it is necessary to change the design and structure of internet shopping mall to focus on the consumers. Moreover, this study showed that the efficiency in providing information to customers and the image of the shopping mall do not affect the consumers' intention to purchase, which means that shopping mall lacks in its information service and the management of its structure. To address this, it is required to advance the User Interface and contents of internet shopping mall.

Factors Affecting User Acceptance of Mobile Commerce Services

  • Growth in the use of mobile commerce services (MCS) as an enabler to conduct business more effectively has been phenomenal. Technology acceptance model (TAM) has been applied in different contexts to examine a wide range of information technology. As more and more companies are finding ways to utilize MCS, an important issue is to understand what factors will affect the decisions of consumers in adopting the services. Based on TAM with two additional groups of external factors (i.e., service-related factors [ubiquitous access and contextual service] and technology-related factors [perceived security risk and network connectivity]) that are theoretically justified to affect both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, which are also considered, a research model for the investigated technology acceptance was developed and empirically examined. The major results of this study are as follows. First, ubiquitous access affects perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Contextual service affects perceived usefulness. Second, perceived security risk affects perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Finally, network connectivity affects perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use.

  • The thesis examines new innovation of various aspect to overcome lots of problems which come by when we execute simplification of trade procedure and administration fairly. Practical implications regarding the innovation of electronic trade infrastructure are as follows. First, it will propel the standardization of electronic trade section in the technical side and the construction atmosphere of international authentication system must be created. The work process should be redesigned in order to implement export-import procedures that meet the relevant standards. Second, the improvement of system for electronic process is necessary in the law and institutional aspect. In order to eliminate any obstacles to the trade procedure, clearer legal grounds regarding legitimate controls and minimum necessity must be established. Also, laws should be revised to admit mutual recognition among certification organizations, in lieu of international agreement-based mutual recognition between government. Third, the detailed improvement for the integration of the electronic trade infrastructure will be demanded. Additionally, user-centered quality management protocols should be established via connections with the systems already existing in governmental bodies. Fourth, various trade institution should harmonized and interconnected with other partners through mutual cooperation for standardization of operational system. A system which can monitor and remotely diagnose and resolve system errors should be established to provide tailor-made service and improve operational efficiency. At the same time, it is necessary to build a cooperative system to share information and promote comprehensive management for efficient operation.

  • Today, rapid evolution of information communication technology occurring in Korea has extensive influence on our daily life, and increasing awareness about the user experience. As the connected Internet information systems increases, one of the problems happening between users and information systems such as Internet shopping-malls, portal sites, and corporate web sites is related with the information privacy concerns issues. In this research, we aim to analyze factors influencing of the invasion of privacy on intention to use in e-commerce environment. Based on these findings, several theoretical and practical implications were suggested and discussed. Thus, we have reviewed extensive previous studies on information privacy in local and foreign information systems, marketing and other fields. The purpose of this study is to provide future directions of studies on information privacy concerns by analyzing past and recent trends of the studies.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine Internet users' psychological anxiety about the possibility of personal information leakage. The investigator examined the difference of psychological anxiety focusing on the possibility of personal information leakage according to the use amount of Internet, the number of joined sites and the frequency of e-commerce transaction. Study findings show that women felt more psychological anxiety than men did. In addition, people who used Internet more frequently felt more psychological anxiety. However, the number of joined sites and the average frequency of e-commerce transaction in a month had no significant influence upon users' psychological anxiety about the possibility of personal information leakage.

  • In this paper, we design an authentication protocol based on Fuzzy Signature Vault Scheme using a light signature feature extraction method for user convenience and efficiency of electronic commerce. The signature is used broadly in electronic commerce because it is one of the simple and low-cost biometric items. However, signature has a problem that there are few low-cost and safe protocols. To solve this problem, we design a feature extraction method which is adequate for characters of signature and Fuzzy Vault Scheme. In addition, we design and analyze an efficient authentication protocol with some parameters used in this procedure. The followings are advantages when this protocol is applied to authentication procedure; 1) using convenient and low-cost signatures, 2) being possible to verify users with spending only about second for signature processing and authentication, 3) one time on transmission for sign-in and verification and 4) getting user authentication with secret value at the same time.

A Personalized Concept-based Retrieval Technique Using Domain Ontology (도메인 온톨로지를 이용한 개인화된 개념기반 검색 기법)

  • We propose a personalized concept-based retrieval technique that uses domain ontology. Proposed system consist or representative concept extraction, user profile construction, and concept-based retrieval stages. First, we extract representative concept with using technique form contents and create the domain ontology. We compose user profile analysis that uses domain ontology for personalized concept-based retrieval. To verify the efficiency of the proposed technique, we perform experiment for Internet site in the engineering area. The results of experiment show that the proposed technique using the domain ontology and user profiles is more efficient than the existing techniques. Hence, the proposed concept-based retrieval technique can be expected to contribute to the development of an efficient personalized recommendation system or e-Commerce system.

  • The interest in the blockchain technology has been increasing since its inception and it has been applied to many fields and sectors. The blockchain technology creates a decentralized environment where no third party controls the data and transaction. Mobile apps recommendation has been extensively used to recommend apps to mobile users. For example, Android-based recommendation applications have been developed to recommend other mobile apps for download depending on user's preferences and mobile context. These recommendations help users discover apps by referring to the experiences of other users. Due to the collection of a large amount of data and user information, there is a problem of insecurity and user's privacy that are prone to be attacked. To address this issue the blockchain technology can be incorporated to assure cryptographic safety. In this paper, we present a survey of the on-going mobile app recommendations and e-commerce technology trend to address how the blockchain can be incorporated into the collaborative filtering recommendation systems to enable the users to set up a secured data, which implies the importance of user privacy preference on personalized app recommendations.

  • We proposed electronic catalog document structure which can process information of goods configurationally and electronic catalog standard format to support various catalog document format and structure. using XML. We designed and implemented electronic catalog system that can use by user who takes part in the transaction the electronic catalog document defined in electronic commerce integration style. This system was advantageous in getting useful information as it was having a common electronic catalog document for all business transactions using interoperability of the Web Services.

The research of new algorithm to improve prediction accuracy of recommender system in electronic commercey

  • In recommender systems which are used widely at e-commerce, collaborative filtering needs the information of user-ratings and neighbor user-ratings. These are an important value for recommendation in recommender systems. We investigate the in-formation of rating in NBCFA (neighbor Based Collaborative Filtering Algorithm), we suggest new algorithm that improve prediction accuracy of recommender system. After we analyze relations between two variable and Error Value (EV), we suggest new algorithm and apply it to fitted line. This fitted line uses Least Squares Method (LSM) in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA). To compute the prediction value of new algorithm, the fitted line is applied to experimental data with fitted function. In order to confirm prediction accuracy of new algorithm, we applied new algorithm to increased sparsity data and total data. As a result of study, the prediction accuracy of recommender system in the new algorithm was more improved than current algorithm.
