This article examines the utilization of e-resources Modibbo Adama University of Technology, (MAUTech) Yola under the auspices of the central library, the Ibrahim Babangida Library. Academics and students are primary users of information resources of any library, hence, their responses towards the utilization of e-resources in the institution have been critically considered in this study. A Mixed method research Design was adopted for the study. A case study approach was employed. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Diffusion of Innovation (DoI) theories were used to develop the conceptual framework of this paper. Questionnaires were used as data gathering tools. Academics and students acted as participants. Major findings are lack of sufficient Internet access for academics and students and lack of training and awareness campaigns. Conclusion has shown that e-resources did not impact research and teaching of academics in MAUTech, Yola.

This study was conducted to investigate the awareness and utilization of the Internet resources and services for academic activities by the academic staff of tertiary institutions in Adamawa State. The researchers adopted a quantitative research method using cross-sectional survey design to collect data from the respondents. Multi-stage sampling techniques were used. Three hundred and thirty-three (333) copies of the questionnaire were administered to the respondents in the eight (8) sampled institutions and two hundred and ninety-two (292) respondents representing (87.6%) were returned and found useful. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics by the use of SPSS version 20.0. The findings revealed that respondents were aware of all the Internet resources, (e-books, e-journals, and online databases), but regarding the Internet services, they were mostly aware of only the e-mail. The study further found that online database and e-mail as the most Internet resources and services utilized by the respondents. There are inverse and weak relationship between awareness and utilization of the Internet resources and services by the academic staff of tertiary institutions in Adamawa State. The study recommends increase awareness and use to other Internet resources such as the e-books and e-journal and Internet services, especially Usenet, Discussion group and Telnet by the management of the institutions through training, workshops/conferences for better academic activities.

본 논문은 e-Science 그리드 자원 공유를 위한 가볍고 솔기없는 통합 자원 접근제어를 제안한다. 그리드 컴퓨팅에 기반한 e-Science는 고가의 과학 실험 장비를 포함하는 그리드 자원을 원격조정하고 이로부터 얻은 데이타를 고성능 컴퓨터를 통해 처리하는 총체적인 도메인을 구성하여 과학자들의 연구를 돕는다. 그런데, 많은 사용자들이 그리드 자원을 이용할 때, 사용자가 소속된 e-Science 그리드에서 자원이 부족할 경우, 원하는 자원을 이용하기 위해 기다리거나 자원이용을 포기할 수 있다. 이런 경우, 적절한 보상 하에 타 그리드의 유휴 자원을 이용할 수 있으면 자원제공자와 사용자 모두에게 도움이 될 수 있다. 그런데, e-Science 그리드는 개개 그리드 단위로 특정 과학응용을 연구하는 과학자들의 사용편의를 위해, 가상 조직(Virtual Organization-VO)에 특화된 자원 접근정책이 운영되고 있기 때문에, 자원의 공유가 결코 쉬운 문제가 아니다. 본 논문은 e-Science 그리드 사용자가 복수 개 타 그리드의 공유자원을 이용할 때, 전체 그리드 차원의 자원접근정책 통합을 위한 선협정(Service Level Agreement-SLA)이 필요 없어 가볍고, 사용자가 소속 그리드의 자원을 이용하는 것과 같은 과정으로 추가적인 등록이 필요하지 않아 솔기없는 새로운 통합 자원 접근 제어를 제안한다.

E-waste는 종류가 많고 유통경로가 다양하여 눈에 보이지 않는 흐름이 주류를 형성하고 있다. E-waste에는 레어메탈의 사용이 많을 뿐 아니라 유해한 중금속도 함유되어 있어 자원확보면에서, 환경오염방지면에서 재자원화 처리가 필수적이며 정확한 재자원화 물질흐름의 분석이 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 관점에서 2008년 1월부터 실시한 "전기 전자제품 및 자동차의 자원순환에 관한 법률" 중에서 E-waste와 관련된 법률내용의 골자, 리싸이클링시스템, 리싸이클링현황, E-waste 배출량 추정과 물질흐름 및 PCB의 경제학을 논하였다. 그리고 현시점에서 한국의 E-waste 재자원화산업을 약술하였다.

As the rapidly changing e-business environment and development of IT, it is difficult to predict appropriate demand and supply of human resources in e-business industry. Such problem causes the imbalance of needs in demand and supply and the difficulty of proving useful information about fostering necessary e-business human resource and so forth. This study present a manpower training plan in e-business industry by investigating e-business human resource in the market and by analyzing curriculums in selected universities. To achieve this objective, we conducted a survey study of e-business companies, educational organizations and workers. From the results of this study, we present the current status of e-business human resource market and the problems of past manpower training system, and provide recommendations. This study would help policy makers, the private companies and academic institutions in developing effective strategies for the e-Biz human resource sector.

중국의 도시광산 재자원화산업을 파악 검토하기 위하여 ELV(사용후자동차), E-waste(Waste Electric Electronic Equipment) 및 비철금속의 리싸이클링을 조사하였다. 중국의 자동차 판매대수가 1,000만대를 넘어서고, 폐차대수도 증가하고 있으나 리싸이클링은 원활하지 못하다. 중국 도시의 가전 보유량은 선진국 수준으로 농촌과의 격차가 크다. 세계 E-waste의 많은 량이 중국으로 유입되어 세계의 E-waste 리싸이클링센터를 형성하고 있다. 비철금속의 소비량은 계속 증가하고 있지만 리싸이클링 수준은 낮다.

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), an apex body of controlling technical education in India, has made mandatory subscription of e-Resources to all its Engineering College Libraries. This policy has directly helped the teaching community, research scholars, and student's paternity, which has benefits for their teaching, research activities, and curriculum, respectively. This study emphasizes the usefulness of e-Resources among the teachers and scholars of engineering colleges in the Bangalore region under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, Karnataka. Survey methodology has been used as the basic research tool for data collection with the help of questionnaires. 866 teaching faculties in VTU were selected randomly on the basis of willingness of users who access the e-Resources for their academic and research activities in the survey. The survey results were tabulated and analyzed with descriptive statistics methods using the SPSS 20 software package. The findings reveal that e-resources are useful for engineering college teachers and scholars for their academic and research activities.

우리나라의 도시광산 재자원화실태와 전망을 파악하기 위하여 금속소비량을 산출하였다. 년간 금속소비량으로부터 금속 축적량을 추정할 수 있고, 도시광산자원을 전망할 수 있다. 금속소비량을 산출함에 있어 다양한 자료 즉 비철협회, 철강협회, 관세청 HS 코드, 연구용역 보고서, 학술회의자료 및 생산회사 탐문자료 등을 인용하였다. 도시광산개발의 요건(key point)을 설명하기 위하여 T.E.Graedel에 의해서 작성된 표(Principle Uses and Recycling Potential of Metals in the Periodic Table)를 인용하였다.

Many species of the genus Entolama were collected at Mt. Jiri National Park, Mt. Baikyang National Park, Mt. Sunun Provincial Park and Mt. Balwang from June, 1991 to september, 1991.These sepecies were identified. According to the results, Entolama convexum, E. roanense, E.clavipes,E.tephreum, E.ochraceumand E.weberi were newly recorded in Korea.These species were described and their Korean names were designed.

The persons who realize e-Business should have capabilities of understanding in both information technology and business processes. It is expected that current education policies and systems could not meet needs of e-Business human resources in Korea. In this paper, we define and categorize human resources for e-Business as to application areas and expertise levels. An intensive field survey has been conducted. Based on the survey results, several strategic and practical alternatives are suggested for development of e-Business human resources in Korea.
