An Implementation of Smart Card Identification System Using 1 vs. 1 Fingerprint Matching (1대1 지문매칭을 이용한 스마트 카드 인증 시스템의 구현)

  • According to the rapid development of information and communication, various services are offered using information and communication infrastructure for example e-commerce, internet banking, stock dealings, etc. This time, the most important problem is personal identification. But now secret number that is used to personal identification mostly can be misappropriated. To solve this problem, this paper proposes smart card identification system using 1 vs. 1 fingerprint matching. Information protection and security of smart card excel and use is convenient. And fingerprint becomes the focus of public attention in biometric field. Implemented system in this paper is based on PC. This system stores minutia that is fingerprint information into smart card and compare it with personal minutia. Therefore this system is sure to be on personal identification. If this system is applied to various services, safety degree of services will be enhanced.

  • As wireless network was developed and Capability of Wireless Phone was increased, M-Commerce was activates In Wireless network environment. User Authentication and Security in E-Commerce Environment is very important, so Authentication Technology, such as WPKI and Hermes System, XML Digital Signature in Wire Network is studying. But if authentication systems was implemented heterogeneous, WPKI is difficult to implement the system, it's not interoperate with authentication system on wire internet, not support XML digital Signature. Hermes system also not interoperate with XML digital signature system. So our paper designed System that can interoperate among digital signature systems and XML document to apply XML digital signature technology on wire network to wireless network, and then implemented system that can XML digital signature to use Java Card.

  • 1. This study was made on the flora of mosses on Mt. Chi I(127$^{\circ}$26'-35' E.Long, 35$^{\circ}$12'-25' N.Lat). 2. In the list of mosses of Mt. Chi I, 126 species, 6 varieties, and 1 form belonging to 79 genera are enumerated. Of these the following 14 taxa are new to the Korean flora. (1) Fhabdoweissia fugat(Hedw.) B.S.G.   • The time taken for an ischemic heart disease patient to have a percutaneous coronary intervention because of acute myocardial infarction after arriving at the hospitals (door-to-balloon time) affects the patient's mortality significantly. To improve the emergency service system that has been previously used in the hospitals, this study focused on reducing door-data time and data-to-decision time among three time stages. The newly established e-emergency service system has set up the database of patients that had an emergency operation for acute myocardial infarction in the emergency service system of the hospital and has issued health cards for the patients that regularly visit the Busan National University Hospital. In addition, it has stored prior operation permits in the form of a certified electronic document. The new electronic system will reduce the complex treatment and operation procedures innovatively. Therefore, it is expected that this will make the life save (or the emergency patients easier and reduce the mortality. Moreover, it will also settle down the hospital staff's and patients' predicaments caused by the complex procedure of the legacy system.

  • With the increasing proliferation of World Wide Web, electronic mail systems have become very widely used communication tools. Researches on e-mail classification have been very important in that e-mail classification system is a major engine for e-mail response management systems which mine unstructured e-mail messages and automatically categorize them. In this research we compare the performance of Naive Bayesian learning and Centroid-Based Classification using the different data set of an on-line shopping mall and a credit card company. We analyze which method performs better under which conditions. We compared classification accuracy of them which depends on structure and size of train set and increasing numbers of class. The experimental results indicate that Naive Bayesian learning performs better, while Centroid-Based Classification is more robust in terms of classification accuracy.

  • In 2001, e-Credit guarantee system was introduced by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund(KCGF) to extends the credit guarantee services for the purchasing amount on credit in the B2B e-Marketplace. It combines both the merits of bill of exchange and credit card and eliminates the uneasiness related to the unpaid accounts due to the non-facial e-Marketplace. The purpose of this paper is to empirically analyze both the causal relationship and influences among theoretical variables by the structural equation model(SEM). e-Credit guarantee system can be a good strategy for promoting B2R e-Marketplace. The level of application of e-Credit guarantee system is attributable to both the characteristics of B2B e-Marketplace and products. The cost reduction or saving in purchasing procedures, production and stockpiling will be possible through e-Credit guarantee system. The close linkage of financial institutions with the enterprises based on e-Credit guarantee system will further promote B2B e-Marketplace in Korea.

Design of a Holter Monitoring System with Flash Memory Card (플레쉬 메모리 카드를 이용한 홀터 심전계의 설계)

  • The Holter monitoring system is a widely used noninvasive diagnostic tool for ambulatory patient who may be at risk from latent life-threatening cardiac abnormalities. In this paper, we design a high performance intelligent holter monitoring system which is characterized by the small-sized and the low-power consumption. The system hardware consists of one-chip microcontroller(68HC11E9), ECG preprocessing circuit, and flash memory card. ECG preprocessing circuit is made of ECG preamplifier with gain of 250, 500 and 1000, the bandpass filter with bandwidth of 0.05-100Hz, the auto-balancing circuit and the saturation-calibrating circuit to eliminate baseline wandering, ECG signal sampled at 240 samples/sec is converted to the digital signal. We use a linear recursive filter and preprocessing algorithm to detect the ECG parameters which are QRS complex, and Q-R-T points, ST-level, HR, QT interval. The long-term acquired ECG signals and diagnostic parameters are compressed by the MFan(Modified Fan) and the delta modulation method. To easily interface with the PC based analyzer program which is operated in DOS and Windows, the compressed data, that are compatible to FFS(flash file system) format, are stored at the flash memory card with SBF(symmetric block format).
