  • The service quality is one of the most important issue for successful deployment of IPTV services. Currently, a number of parameters have been reported that they have an effect on the quality of IPTV services. However, it is almost impossible to monitor and manage all the parameters in real time. Key parameters, therefore, should be chosen as a service metric for efficient quality management of IPTV services. For this purpose, we implement an environment for monitoring and measuring the quality of IPTV services and try to figure out the effect of each parameter on the quality of IPTV services. In particular, we focus on a parameter called continuous count error (CCE) measured at the level of MPEG transport stream (TS) and show that it has a greater effect on the quality of IPTV services than other parameters.

  • DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)란 CD수준의 음질과 데이터 또는 영상 서비스 등이 가능하고 우수한 고정 및 이동 수신 품질을 제공하는 디지털 방식의 멀티미디어 방송이다. DMB는 서비스 방식에 따라 위성DMB와 지상파DMB로 나누어지며, 영상 및 음성 서비스에 데이터 신호를 동기화 시켜 데이터 서비스 또한 가능하다. 지상파DMB 데이터 서비스중 EPG(Electronic Program Guide) 서비스는 시청자가 현재 시청 중인 채널의 프로그램 편성 정보를 사용자에게 정의한다. 그러나 DMB 사업자 간의 이해관계 등으로 인해 시청자가 타 채널 편성정보를 확인하기 위해선 채널을 변경(Tunning)해야 하는 불편함이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 BWS(Broadcast Web Site) 표준과 리턴패스(Return Path)를 이용하여 지상파DMB의 EPG에서 확장된 개념인 XPG(eXtended Program Guide)를 제안하고 구현하였다. 이를 위해 2장에서 지상파 DMB의 각종 데이터서비스 표준 및 리턴패스(Return Path)를 분석하였으며, 3장에선 XPG 서비스를 제공하기 위한 XPG 서비스 시스템을 설계하고, 이를 위한 XPG 애플리케이션을 설계 및 구현하고 그 결과를 나타내었다.

The Impact of e-Business Information System Quality on Customer Loyalty : An Empirical Study in the Field of Cyber Trading (e-Business 환경에서 정보시스템 품질이 고객충성도에 미치는 영향 : 사이버 증권 분야에서의 실증 연구)

  • The customer loyalty has been decreasing dramatically in e-Business environments such as cyber trading, shopping, banking, and portal services. However, little research has been done so far in order to analysis the newly emerging concept and changing nature of the e-Business customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the quality of e-Business information systems has any impact on customer loyalty. The quality, which is tee independent construct in this study, is divided into three variables: basic system quality, information contents quality, and service quality. Cyber systems of 40 domestic stock trading firms were chosen as target e-Business information systems Both online survey and traditional field survey were employed in order to collect data, and more than 8,000 cyber customers have responded. The results of statistical analysis show that all of three independent variables have statistically significant effects on customer loyalty and, among three variables, the basic system quality has the strongest impact.

  • The tremendous growth of the Internet, particularly world wide web, has resulted in significant changes in commerce environments. Internet has brought significant changes in the economics of marketing channels and has led to a redefinition of industry value chain. E-commerce has become so important that countries and firms unprepared for this new trend would lose competitive advantages in the coming century of digital economy. The purpose of this study is to identify logistic!; service quality elements about internet shopping mall customers and examine the relationship among e-commerce logistics service quality, customer satisfaction, relationship quality and repurchase intentions in the area of internet shopping mall. To do so, prior studies on logistics service quality, customer satisfaction, relationship qualify and repurchase intentions were broadly reviewed and the relationship among those four concepts was empirically tested.

  • 최근 기업간 비즈니스 로직의 구현에 웹 서비스를 이용하고 응용 간 통신 및 상호 응용의 사례가 많아지고 있다. 이를 위한 기업 내의 기반 시스템 구축에도 웹 서비스의 이용이 활발해지고 있다. 이에 따라 효율적인 비즈니스의 운영 모델에 대한 요구가 많아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 웹서비스에 관련된 내용을 분석하고, 기업의 특성상 요구되는 보안 및 서비스 품질에 대한 분석을 통하여 기업 비즈니스 환경에 적용할 수 있는 e-비즈니스 운영 아키텍처를 제안하였다.

  • LTE-maritime, which was built as part of the Korean e-Navigation project, has been providing a service that meets the goal of establishing a network up to 100km from the coast since J anuary 31, 2021. To provide appropriate communication services for LTE-maritime from the perspective of real users, additional performance analysis of LTE-maritime is required considering service implementation, and efficient use of spectrum resources. This paper presents the requirement of transmission speed according to the e-Navigation service scenario, and available transmission speed based on LTE modulation coding scheme (MCS) according to sea-specific ship distribution scenario and frequency resource allocation, and is cross-analyzed with results of the sea test.

Influence of Sociocultural Services on Brand Image and Loyalty of Cafe (카페의 브랜드 이미지와 충성도에 대한 사회문화성서비스 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how to improve the brand image and loyalty of cafe by recognizing that social culture of middle school cafe, which is an important service quality in cafe establishment, emerges as a main characteristic of new coffee business. First, reliability, confidentness, professionalism, accessibility, and socio - culturality of the service quality of coffee specialty shops improve brand image. Confidence and professionalism play an important role in enhancing brand loyalty, and brand image has a significant effect on brand loyalty. Respectively, Among the service quality, social culture has a strong influence on brand image but it is not a direct influence on brand loyalty. Second, in the relationship between brand loyalty of coffee service quality, brand image shows full mediation effect on reliability, partial mediation effect on confidence, professionalism, accessibility, socialcultural property, and mediation effect on response and empathy. Third, as a result of analyzing the moderating effects of coffee shop types on the relationship between service quality and brand image of coffee specialty shops, reliability, confidentiality, and accessibility are positive factors in the nationwide franchise. On the other hand, in the private $caf{\acute{e}}$, professionalism and socio-culturality are the main factors for improving the brand image. In the case of the local franchise, similar to the franchise in the country, the improvement of service quality for responsiveness and professionalism is a positive factor Respectively. As a result, nationwide franchise $caf{\acute{e}}s$ have priority in enhancing brand image and brand loyalty through accessibility and assurance of service quality. On the other hand, in case of local franchise $caf{\acute{e}}$, it can be seen that the service quality is enhanced and the brand image and brand loyalty can be further improved through service professionalism and accessibility. On the other hand, regional cafes are more important than national franchises or local franchise cafes, and a strategy to enhance customer loyalty is needed through service strategies emphasizing socio - cultural aspects.

  • 세계 주요 나라에서 HDTV 방송이 서비스되고 있으며, 현재는 아날로그와 디지털 방송이 동시 송출되고 있으나, 2010년대 초기에 디지털 전환을 완료할 예정이다. 방송서비스는 기술개발, 표준 제정 및 법제 정비 등 많은 개발 및 준비기간을 필요로 하므로, 세계 주요 국가들은 HDTV 이후의 방송 서비스를 위한 준비 작업들을 진행하고 있다. HDTV 이후의 차세대 방송을 UHDTV라고 하며, 가정에서 70 mm 영화보다 뛰어난 화질(비디오 해상도 $7680{\times}4320$, HD 화면 16배 크기에 해당)과 다채널(${\sim}22.2ch$) 음질로 극장급의 초고품질 서비스를 제공하여 소비자의 품질 욕구를 만족시킬 수 있는 TV를 목표로 한다. 본 고에서는 UHDTV 서비스에 필요한 관련 기술 동향과 표준화 동향 및 기술 개발시 선행적으로 필요로 하는 특허 동향에 대해서 설명한다.

  • When sharing real-time media in the ubiquitous computing environments, due to heterogeneous performance of devices, conflict to users' media service requirements might be occurred. To address the problems, there are extensive researches about media streaming QoS control schemes in the aspects of network or application. However, their deployment has met with difficulty because of critical reasons such as high development cost and system complexity. In this paper, in the level of media services, we propose a negotiation approach to offer improved quality of media services. The proposed approach Constructs video distribution group between producer and consumer services, which target to globally minimize the concession of users' quality requirements Consequently, users can be provided video services in the level of conformation to the users' expectation.

  • 본 논문에서는 양방향 인터넷 방송을 위하여 연구되고 있는 고품질 동영상 콘텐츠의 객체 분할 기술을 이용하여 컴퓨터와 사용자간의 인터랙션을 개선하여 학습 몰입도를 높이고 고품질의 서비스를 제공하는 H2M(Human to Machine) e-learning 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템에서는 고품질 동영상 콘텐츠 및 기타 정보를 한눈에 볼 수 있으며 에듀테인먼트를 가미한 H2M e-learning시스템에 적합한 새로운 인터페이스를 제공하고자 한다.
