단기통 가솔린 기관의 배기단의 압력 예측 (Pressure Predictions in Exhaust Pipe of a Single Cylinder Gasoline Engine)

  • In this study, a computer analysis has been developed for predicting the pipe pressure of the intake and exhaust manifold. To obtain the boundary conditions for a numerical analysis, one dimensional and non-steady gas dynamic calculation is performed by using the MOC(Method Of Characteristic). The main numerical parameters are the variation of the engine revolution to calculate the pulsating flow which the intake and exhaust valves arc working. The comparison of exhaust pressure in case of numerical results is quite matched with in case of experimental results. When engine revaluation is increased, the pressure amplitude showed a high value, but the pressure frequency was decreased.

  • This paper deals with dynamic analysis of Pipeline Inspection Gauge (PIG) flow control in natural gas pipelines. The dynamic behaviour of PIG depends on the pressure differential generated by injected gas flow behind the tail of the PIG and expelled gas flow in front of its nose. To analyze dynamic behaviour characteristics (e.g. gas flow, the PIG position and velocity) mathematical models are derived. Tow types of nonlinear hyperbolic partial differential equations are developed for unsteady flow analysis of the PIG driving and expelled gas. Also, a non-homogeneous differential equation for dynamic analysis of the PIG is given. The nonlinear equations are solved by method of characteristics (MOC) with a regular rectangular grid under appropriate initial and boundary conditions. Runge-Kutta method is used for solving the steady flow equations to get the initial flow values and for solving the dynamic equation of the PIG. The upstream and downstream regions are divided into a number of elements of equal length. The sampling time and distance are chosen under Courant-Friedrich-Lewy (CFL) restriction. Simulation is performed with a pipeline segment in the Korea gas corporation (KOGAS) low pressure system. Ueijungboo-Sangye line. The simulation results show that the derived mathematical models and the proposed computational scheme are effective for estimating the position and velocity of the PIG with a given operational condition of pipeline.

  • This paper deals with dynamic behaviour analysis for pipeline inspection gauge (PIG) flow control in natural gas pipeline. The dynamic behaviour of the PIG is depending on the different Pressure between the rear and nose parts, which is generated by injected gas flow behind PIG's tail and expelled gas flow in front of its nose. To analyze the dynamic behaviour characteristics such as gas flow in pipeline, and the PIG's position and velocity, mathematical model is derived as two types of a nonlinear hyperbolic partial differential equation for unsteady flow analysis of the PIG driving and expelled gas, and nonhomogeneous differential equation for dynamic analysis of PIG. Recommendations on dynamic pressure sensor placement for transonic wind tunnel tests

  • A wind tunnel test was conducted that measured surface fluctuating pressures aft of a ramp at transonic speeds. Dynamic pressure test data was used to perform a study to determine best locations for streamwise sensor pairs for shocked and unshocked runs based on minimizing the error in root-mean-square acceleration response of the panel. For unshocked conditions, the upstream sensor is best placed at least 6.5 ramp heights downstream of the ramp, and the downstream sensor should be within 2 ramp heights from the upstream sensor. For shocked conditions, the upstream sensor should be between 1 and 7 ramp heights downstream of the shock, with the downstream sensor 2 to 3 ramp heights of the upstream sensor. The shock was found to prevent the passage coherent flow structures; therefore, it may be desired to use the shock to define the boundary of subzones for the purpose of loads definition. These recommendations should be generally applicable to a range of expansion corner geometries in transonic flow provided similar flow structures exist. The recommendations for shocked runs is more limited, relying on data from a single dataset with the shock located near the forward end of the region of interest.

  • BEA(Boundary Element Analysis) based on Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integral equation is widely used in the prediction of sound radiation problems of vibrating structures. Accurate estimation of sound pressure distribution by BEA can be [possible if and only if dynamic behavior of the relating structure was described correctly. Another plausible method of sound radiation phenomena could be the NAH(Nearfield Acoustic Holography) method. NAH also based on the identical governing equation with BEA could be one of the best acoustic imaging schemes but it has disadvantages of the complexity of measurement and of the need of large amount of measuring points. In this paper, modal expansion method is presented for taking accurate dynamic data of the structures efficiently. This method makes use of vibration principle an arbitrary dynamic behavior of the structure is described by the summation of that structures mode shapes which can be calculated by FEA easily and accurately. Sound pressure field from a vibration flat plate is calculated using the combination of vibration signal on that flat plate from experiment, and of the natural mode shapes form FEA. When sound pressure field from vibration signal is calculated the importance of the phase information was emphasized.

  • 공기주입 부유구조물에 대한 압력변화의 비선형 특성과 파랑변형을 이론적 및 실험적으로 검토한다. 섭동법과 Green 공식에 의한 두가지 이론적 방법(방법I, II)이 잠수, 반잠수 부유구조물에 의한 파의 비선형성을 평가하기 위해서 적용된다. 더우기 부유 구조물 내의 공기압 변화를 고려하기 위하여 Boyle-Charles 법칙에 따른 단열변화를 가정하여 유도된 공기압축모델이 새로이 개발되었다. 가상경계에서 감쇠정상파를 고려한 방법 I의 이론치는 감시정상파의 영향이 미치지 않는 가상 연직경계면을 같는 방법 II의 값과 잘 일치한다. 두 이론에 의한 이론치는 실험치와 잘 일치함을 보여준다.

와도를 기저로 한 초기 순간 출발하는 실린더 주위의 점성유동해석 (Vorticity Based Analysis of the Viscous Flow around an Impulsively Started Cylinder)

  • 본 논문에서는 비압축성 Newtonian 점성유동에서 초기에 순간 출발하는 2차원 실린더 주위의 유동을 해석하기 위해서, 와도를 기저로 한 수치해석기법을 제안하고 있다. Helmholtz 분리 형태로 표현된 Navier-Stokes방정식에서 유도되는 와도전달방정식과 압력방정식, 그리고 벡터등식에서 유도되는 속도-와도 관계식을 이 문제의 지배방정식으로 택하고, 경계조건으로는 물체표면에서 와도와 압력의 연성관계와 힘의 평형을 고려한 동적와도경계조건과 동적압력조건이 제시된다. 이 지배방정식과 경계조건을 수치적으로 처리하기 위하여, 와도와 압력이 연성되어 있는 경계조건은 Wu등(1994)이 제안한 대로, 연성관계를 유지한 채로 식을 분리하는 방법을 이용하였고, 와도전달 방정식은 유한체적법으로 계산하였으며, 그 식에 포함된 대류항을 처리하는 방법으로 TVD 방법을 이용하였다. 속도는 Biot-Savart적분항이 포함된 벡터등식에서 panel방법으로 구하고, 압력방정식은 형태가 Poisson방정식이므로 역시 panel방법을 이용하였다. 계산에 사용된 격자로 정규격자를 이용하고, 결과를 다른 수치적, 해석적 결과와 비교하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, an analytical solution for the wave-induced seabed response in a porous seabed is derived. Unlike previous investigations with quasi-static soil behaviour, dynamic soil behaviour is considered in the new solution. The basic one-dimensional framework proposed by Zienkiewicz et al (1980) is extended to two-dimensional cases. Based on the analytical solution derived, the effects of dynamic soil behaviour on the wave-induced seabed response are examined. The boundary of quasi-static soil behaviour and dynamic soil behaviour is clarified, and formulated for engineering practice.

동하중 등가 설계압을 받는 고속 경구조선 알루미늄 보강판부재의 구조응답 고찰 (Consideration of the Structural Response of High Speed Aluminum Planning Boat Stiffened Plate Member subjected to the Simplified Equivalent Dynamic Design Pressure)

  • High speed planning boats also have been required more and more the rational strength analysis and evaluation for the optimal structural design in respect of the structural lightness according to the high speed trend. Even though the suggestion of the simple type equation for the equivalent dynamic pressure is reasonable to design the scantling of ship structure conveniently, many research activities for more reasonable improvement of the simple design pressure, have been continued to suggest the more accurate equivalent static description of tire structural response such as the deflection and stress of hull structure. In this research, we focus on the aluminum bottom stiffened plate structure in which structural scantling is mainly depend on the local loads such as dynamic or impact pressure without other load effects and structural response for the simple dynamic equivalent pressure was investigated through the structural analysis. In order to investigate the structural response of the bottom stiffened plate structure subjected to the dynamic equivalent design pressure, linear and nonlinear structural analysis of the bottom stiffened plate structure of 4.3 ton aluminum planning boat was performed based on the equivalent static applied loads which were derived from the KR regulation and representative one among various dynamic equivalent pressure equations. From above analysis results, we found that the response such as deflection and stress of plate member was similar with the response results of one plate member model with fixed boundary, which was published previous paper and in case of KR design loading, all response of stiffened plate structure were within elastic limit. Through the nonlinear analysis, nearly elastic behavior including the slight geometrical nonlinear response was dominant but plastic local zone was appeared at $85\%$ limit load. Therefore, we can say that through tire linear and nonlinear analysis, this stiffened plate member has no structural strength problem based on the yield criteria in case within $60\%$ limit load except the other strength point of view such as the fatigue and buckling problem.
