총의치 환자의 치료 시 인상 채득 과정은 의치의 지지, 유지, 그리고 안정을 위해 매우 중요하며, 의치의 성공여부를 좌우한다. 총의치 인상 채득을 위한 여러 가지 재료와 방법들이 이용되어 왔으며, 그 중 조직 양화재 (tissue conditioner)를 이용한 동적 인상법 (dynamic impression method)은 보다 생리적이고 기능적인 방법이다. 본 증례들에서는 무치악 환자에서 조직 양화재인 Coe-comfort$^{(R)}$ (GC America, IL, USA)를 이용한 동적 인상법으로 변형된 연조직의 회복과 하께 가장 생리적인 상태로 인상을 채득하여 의치의 제작 및 첨상을 시행하였으며, 만족스런 결과를 얻었다.

A dynamic impression is a functional impression that records the functional movement of the patient's own muscle and muscle attachment. This process reduces the number of random factors. This article describes a method for making a special tray using a dynamic impression concept that was made from provisional dentures used for implant healing. The individual tray is used to make a wash-impression to record the features of the mucosa in detail. The main advantage of this technique is that it provides a functional relationship of the implant components to the supporting tissues without overextension because provisional denture had been used for 2 months and the border length of individual tray was nearly the same as that of provisional denture. The delivery of the prosthesis constructed using this impression technique is time-saving because there is no need for border molding and there are fewer post-insertion appliance adjustments.

In this paper, tone mapping method by local contrast and detail enhancement for High Dynamic Range (HDR) is proposed. By applying Piecewise Dynamic Range Histogram Adjustment (PDRHA) and Detail Enhancement Volume (DEV) with decomposed layers, tone mapping is performed effectively. The experimental results show that the proposed method preserves local contrast and overall impression with naturalness of original images.

The products designed by human sensibility and ergonomics are given good impression. Especially the touch feeling on the human skin is very useful sensibility for quality of products. Elasticity and viscosity of human skin is very important element in product design based on ergonomics. In this paper, we describe a sophisticated method for measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity characteristics of human skin. For this measurement, we developed a measurement system assembled with load cell, actuator, amplifier and data acquisition system. The $MATLAB^{TM}$ is used to analyze the data and fit a approximation curves.

There is so much difference in the way we perceive nature whether from eastern or western, present or past standpoint. however, awareness of coexistence between human beings and nature along with the concept that the most natural is th e most beautiful remain unchanged. The desire to describe the beauty of nature have existed all through the ages, but the (new) naturalism movement was spawned in our time when so much devastation and side effects took place for the expediency of nature, and field of display has been trying new interpretation of nature with direct or applied method. Naturalism trend is studied using the categories such as relationship between human and nature, space concept in western and eastern society, and the definition of view of nature in modern time. Elements of naturalism display are classified into the element of physical properties and element beyond the physical properties, and then methodology on naturalism display is investigated, using the illustration of display examples, in order to know the most essential elements of display, which are the physical properties such as space, light, object, glass, are expressed based on the elemental concept like nature, an accident, dynamic state, variability. As mentioned above, Naturalism display consists of physical properties and phenomenon. How to ive strong impression to a spectator depends on the ability to create effective space applying these elements. The significance of this study comes to surface in a time when the tremendous emphasis is put on the importance of nature and concerns about the role of display has become even greater.

악안면 수술에 있어서 악관절 및 교합은 미용적 측면에서 뿐만 아니라 그 기능적 측면에서 더욱 중요하다. 특히 하악이 고정된 경우뿐만 아니라 움직일 때 악관절 및 기능적 교합상태까지 보존 및 재건하고 정확한 수술을 하기 위해서 수술 전후에 적절한 MMF는 필수적이다. 이를 위해 저자들은 치열활봉에 대한 그 동안의 경험을 바탕으로 치열의 흐름에 대한 기본적 이론, 교합을 고려한 치열활봉의 거치방법 및 복잡한 교합평면을 가진 악안면 수술 환자들에 대해서 술전 인상을 이용한 치열활봉 거치법을 제안하는 바이다.
