This study developed a simple model to investigate effects of important operating parameters on performance of a bubbling-bed adsorber and regenerator system collecting $CO_2$ from flue gas. The chemical reaction rate was used with mean particles residence time of a reactor to determine the extent of conversion in both adsorber and regenerator reactors. Effects of process parameters - temperature, gas velocity, solid circulation rate, moisture content of feed gas - on $CO_2$ capture efficiency were investigated in a laboratory scale process. The $CO_2$ capture efficiency decreased with increasing temperature or gas velocity of the adsorber. However, it increased with increasing the moisture content of the flue gas or the regenerator temperature. The calculated $CO_2$ capture efficiency agreed to the measured value reasonably well. However the present model did not agree well to the effect of the solid circulation rate on $CO_2$ capture efficiency. Better understanding on contact efficiency between gas and particles was needed to interpret the effect properly.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate gender differences in ground reaction force (GRF) components among different speeds of running. Method: Twenty men ($age=22.4{\pm}1.6years$, $mass=73.4{\pm}8.4kg$, $height=176.2{\pm}5.6cm$) and twenty women ($age=20.7{\pm}1.2years$, $mass=55.0{\pm}8.2kg$, $height=163.9{\pm}5.3cm$) participated in this study. All participants were asked to run on an instrumented dual belt treadmill (Bertec, USA) at 8, 12, and 16 km/h for 3 min, after warming up. GRF data were collected from 30 strides while they were running. Hypotheses were tested using one-way ANOVA, and level of significance was set at p-value <.05. Results: The time to passive peaks was significantly earlier in women than in men at three different running speeds (p<.05). Further, the impact loading rates were significantly greater in women than in men at three different running speeds (p<.05). Moreover, the propulsive peak at 8 km/h, which is the slowest running speed, was significantly greater in women than in men (p<.05), and the vertical impulse at 16 km/h, which is the fastest running speed, was significantly greater in men than in women (p<.05). The absolute anteroposterior impulse at 8 km/h was significantly greater in women than in men (p<.05). In addition, as the running speed increased, impact peak, active peak, impact loading rate, breaking peak, propulsive peak, and anteroposterior impulse were significantly increased, but vertical impulse was significantly decreased (p<.05). Conclusion: The impact loading rate is greater in women than in men regardless of different running speeds. Therefore, female runners might be exposed to the risk of potential injuries related to the bone and ligament. Moreover, increased running speeds could lead to higher possibility of running injuries.

This study compared the solubility, water absorption, dimensional stability, release of various ions (hydroxyl, calcium, sulfur, strontium, and silicon), and cytotoxicity of light-cured resin-modified pulp-capping materials. Resin-modified calcium hydroxide (Ultra-blendTM plus, UBP), light-cured resin-modified calcium silicate (TheraCal LCTM, TLC), and dual-cure resin-modified calcium silicate (TheraCal PTTM, TPT) were used. Each material was polymerized; solubility, 24-hour water absorption, and 30- day dimensional stability experiments were conducted to test its physical properties. Solubility was assessed according to the ISO 6876 standard, and 24 hours of water absorption, 30 days of dimensional stability were assessed by referring to the previous protocol respectively. Eluates at 3 and 24 hours and on 7, 14, and 28 days were analyzed according to the ISO 10993-12 standard. And the pH, Ion-releasing ability, cell proliferation rate, and cell viability were assessed using the eluates to evaluate biochemical characteristics. pH was measured with a pH meter and Ion-releasing ability was assessed using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Cell proliferation rate and cell viability were assessed using human dental pulp cells (hDPCs). The former was assessed by an absorbance assay using the CCK-8 solution, and the latter was assessed by Live and Dead staining. TPT exhibited lower solubility and water absorption than TLC. UBP and TPT demonstrated higher stability than TLC. The release of sulfur, strontium, calcium, and hydroxyl ions was higher for TLC and TPT than for UBP. The 28-day release of hydroxyl and silicon ions was similar for TLC and TPT. TLC alone exhibited a lower cell proliferation rate compared to the control group at a dilution ratio of 1 : 2 in cell proliferation and dead cells from Live and Dead assay evaluation. Thus, when using light-cure resin-modified pulp-capping materials, calcium silicate-based materials can be considered alternatives to calcium hydroxide-based materials. Moreover, when comparing physical and biochemical properties, TPT could be prioritized over TLC as the first choice.

The Korea Radioactive Waste Agency (KORAD) has developed a dual-purpose metal cask for the dry storage of spent nuclear fuel that has been generated by domestic light-water reactors. The metal cask was designed in compliance with international and domestic technology standards, and safety was the most important consideration in developing the design. It was designed to maintain its integrity for 50 years in terms of major safety factors. The metal cask ensures the minimization of waste generated by maintenance activities during the storage period as well as the safe management of the waste. An activation evaluation of the main body, which includes internal and external components of metal casks whose design lifetime has expired, provides quantitative data on their radioactive inventory. The radioactive inventory of the main body and the components of the metal cask were calculated by applying the MCNP5 ORIGEN-2 evaluation system and by considering each component's chemical composition, neutron flux distribution, and reaction rate, as well as the duration of neutron irradiation during the storage period. The evaluation results revealed that 10 years after the end of the cask's design life, $^{60}Co$ had greater radioactivity than other nuclides among the metal materials. In the case of the neutron shield, nuclides that emit high-energy gamma rays such as $^{28}Al$ and $^{24}Na$ had greater radioactivity immediately after the design lifetime. However, their radioactivity level became negligible after six months due to their short half-life. The surface exposure dose rates of the canister and the main body of the metal cask from which the spent nuclear fuel had been removed with expiration of the design lifetime were determined to be at very low levels, and the radiation exposure doses to which radiation workers were subjected during the decommissioning process appeared to be at insignificant levels. The evaluations of this study strongly suggest that the nuclide inventory of a spent nuclear fuel metal cask can be utilized as basic data when decommissioning of a metal cask is planned, for example, for the development of a decommissioning plan, the determination of a decommissioning method, the estimation of radiation exposure to workers engaged in decommissioning operations, the management/reuse of radioactive wastes, etc.

Objectives: The purpose is to evaluate dosimetric performance and delivery efficiency of VMAT with Halcyon LINAC for double target spine SBRT Materials and Methods: 12 patients with spine oligometastases were retrospectively studied. Single-isocenter spine SBRT plans was established using Halcyon® with Dual Layer MLC and Truebeam® with High Definition MLC. All patients' plans were created in Eclipse TPS through the identical conditions and optimization. C.I, H.I, G.I (Gradient Index), maximal and volumetric doses to spinal cord and low dose area were evaluated for comparison of both plans. Also, total MU and BOT(Beam On Time) were evaluated. Results: Halcyon plans was no Statistical differences in C.I and H.I. However, the average of G.I was 4.64 for Halcyon, which decreased to 5.5% compared to Truebeam (P<0.001). Halcyon plans demonstrated statistically significant reduced G.I. The average of 50% and 25% isodose volume was 487.56 cc (-3.82%, P<0.001), 1859.45 cc (-4.75%, P<0.001) in Halcyon, respectively. Significantly reduced low dose spill were observed in Halcyon plans. In the evaluation of the spinal cord, the average of Dmean and V10 of Halcyon plans in the sample group with an overlap volume of less than 1 cc was 6.802 Gy (-3.504%, P=0.067), 5.766±1.683 cc (-8.199%, P=0.002), respectively. Halcyon plans demonstrated statistically significant reduced Dmean and V10. For delivery efficiency, MU and BOT(maximum dose rate for each machine), on average, increased in Halcyon plans. However, the average of BOT(800MU/min for each machine) was 648.33 sec for Halcyon (-1.74%, P<0.001). Conclusion: Halcyon plan for double-target spine SBRT demonstrated advantages in the low dose area with a steep dose gradient, while having dosimetrically equivalent target dose distribution and spinal cord protective effect. As a result, Halcyon LINAC produced a dosimetrically improved plan for double-target spine SBRT.

Multicomponent transparent conducting oxide films were deposited on glass substrates at 150 by dual magnetron sputtering of AZO and ITO targets. In the case of mixing a limited amount of ITO (10W), resistivity of TCO films was significantly increased compared to the AZO film; from $3.5{\times}10^{-3}$ to $9.7{\times}10^{-3}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$. Deterioration of the electrical conductivity is attributed to the decreases in carrier concentration and Hall mobility. Improvement of the conductivity could be obtained for the films prepared with ITO powers larger than 40 W. The lowest resistivity ($\rho$) of $7.3{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ was achieved when ITO power was 100 W. Effects of $H_2$ incorporation on the electrical and optical properties of AZO-ITO films were investigated in this work. Addition of small amount of hydrogen resulted in the increase of carrier concentration and the improvement of electrical conductivity. It is apparent that the roughness of AZO-ITO films decreases dramatically after the transition of microstructure from polycrystalline to amorphous phase, which gives practical advantages such as an excellent uniformity of surface and a high etching rate. AZO-ITO films grown at sputtering ambient with hydrogen gas are expected to be applicable to optoelectronic devices such as organic light emitting diodes and flexible displays due to their sufficient electrical and structural properties.

In this paper, the implementation of high throughput two-dimensional (2-D) $8{\times}8$ forward and inverse integer DCT transform for H.264 is presented. The forward and inverse transforms are represented using simple shift and addition operations. Matrix decomposition and matrix operation such as the Kronecker product and direct sum are used to reduce the computation complexity. The proposed design uses integer computations and does not use transpose memory and hence, the resource consumption is also reduced. The maximum operating frequency of the proposed pipelined architecture is 1.184 GHz, which achieves 25.27 Gpixels/sec throughput rate with the hardware cost of 44864 gates. High throughput and low hardware makes the proposed design useful for real time H.264/AVC high definition processing.

Diverse immunoassays including a chemiluminescent immunoassay (CIA) are used to detect hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and antibody (anti-HBs). Recently, an increasing number of institutions have been utilizing an immunochromatography assay (ICA), which is easy to use. In this study, We evaluated ICA kits for the rapid detection of HBsAg and anti-HBs by comparing them with a CIA. A total of 120 serum hospital samples, were collected for the whole month, were assayed using ICA kit. The Concordance rate, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of the ICA for HBsAg based on CIA results were 97%, 97%, 100%, 100%, and 96.8%, respectively. The diagnostic performances of the ICA for Anti-HBs were 90%, 90%, 93.3%, 93.1%, and 90.3%, respectively. The ICA kit failed to detect HBsAg and anti-HBs in low reactive samples. The ICA kits for the rapid detection of HBsAg might be recommended for interpreted with caution and dual analysis in the clinical laboratory.
Purpose: This study described female college students' knowledge, self-efficacy and health behaviors related to bone health. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional survey design was used. A total of 214 students were conveniently recruited from a school of nursing in Korea. Participants (mean age=21.2, SD=1.9 years) bone mineral density (BMD) was measured using dual energy x-ray absorptionmetry. Participants also completed a questionnaire consisting of knowledge test, self-efficacy scale and health behaviors related to bone health. Data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 17.0 program. Results: The mean BMD at left femoral neck site was $0.86g/cm^2$ and 6.1~12.6%. Results showed that participants were below the expected range of BMD. Level of knowledge (correct rate=54%) and self-efficacy were moderate (mean 54.8 out of 84). More than 84% of subjects drank alcohol more than once a month and 58.4% did participate in regular exercise. Only 7.9% participants took calcium and vitamin-D rich foods every day. There were significant positive correlations between knowledge and self-efficacy (r=.17), health behaviors (r=.14) and self-efficacy and health behaviors (r=.28, all p<.05). Conclusion: These results suggest that health care professionals need to provide effective interventions for young women in order to enhance knowledge, self-efficacy and health behaviors related to bone health.
A study on the seamen's demand - supply has been focused on early 1990s, and never studied yet since 2007. Because previous studies related to the seamen are very different in conditions the environments around the fishery recently. It is serious problem that the number of domestic semen are decreasing continually. To depend on foreign seamen because of lacking of domestic seamen should be linked closely with the fishing industry environment in our country. Therefore, this study is limited to domestic seamen. Lacking recent domestic seamen, it is the most likely to rise imbalance between demand - supply in the future. Through medium and long term its analysis based on data, we are willing to discover various political subjects for seamen's welfare, the training of manpower, education, etc. To solve these issues, it can be made institutional changes as follows ; First, it is necessary policy-making related the deteriorating employment situation based on its analysis of medium and long term for seamen. Second, it is necessary to overcome a dual system for its management for seamen. Third, it is necessary to improve problems of statistics data for fishery and build a statistical system for seamen. Also, it will be improved a insurance system under 5 ton and strengthen the function for Korean seamen welfare and employment center and must be urgently countermeasures for the minimal unemployment rate through a content development and management of home page. Finally, it will be supplied reliably seamen to improve a practice system for apprentices according to the international regulations(STCW-F) for fishery students.
