달 지상 환경의 효과적 모사를 위한 인공월면토 전처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on Lunar Soil Simulant Pretreatment for Effective Simulation of Lunar Surface Environment)

  • 달 탐사에 대한 관심이 늘어나면서 인공월면토를 포함한 달 지상 환경 모사에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 인공월면토를 포함하여 진공환경을 조성할 때 발생하는 문제점 중의 하나는 토양에서 나오는 탈 가스로 인해 고진공에 도달하는 시간이 길어진다는 것이다. 이러한 탈 가스의 대부분은 수분이며, 진공챔버에 넣기 전 인공월면토의 표면에 붙어있는 수분을 제거하는 전처리 과정을 수행한다면 고진공에 도달하는 시간을 상당히 줄일 수 있다. 기존의 토양 건조 방법을 사용하여 각 방법이 인공월면토의 수분제거에 얼마나 효과적인지 확인하였다. 드라이 오븐을 이용한 방법, 마이크로웨이브 오븐을 이용한 방법, 직접가열 건조하는 방법과 진공 오븐을 이용한 방법을 이용하여 인공월면토 시료의 건조 실험을 수행하였으며, 건조 실험의 결과를 제시하였다. 실험결과 드라이 오븐에서 110℃로 건조하는 방법과 마이크로웨이브 오븐을 이용한 건조 방법은 수분제거 효과가 충분하지 않았으며, 200℃ 이상에서 진공오븐을 이용한 방법과 직접 가열하는 방법은 수분제거 효과가 좋았다.

축산물의 저알레르기화 처리

  • 본 연구에서 저알레르기 처리 공정은 Autoclaving, 가열처리, micro wave, dry heating, 초음파, 효소, 인산염, 천연효소, 가용화, 복합처리 등의 처리 공정으로 하였다. 저 allergy처리에서 allergy가 완전히 억제되는 것은 가열처리를 한 것으로 쇄양 B(추출액+가열 3분), autoclave 처리, micro파 처리, dry heating처리, 복합처리를 했을 때이다. 또한 천연효소(키위)를 침지한 후 tolergen과 같이 3분간 가열했을 때 allergy가 억제되는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 가열처리로 인한 단백질 구조 변성으로 이러한 결과를 보인 것으로 보인다. 인산염의 경우도 어느 정도 억제가 되는 것으로 보이고 있다. 나머지 처리들은 거의 효과를 보이고 있지 않다. 천연효소와 tolergen(쇄양)을 그냥 처리했을 때에는 allergy 억제효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 우유의 저 allergy 처리는 효소, autoclave, micro 파, NaOH 처리, 복합처리에서 감소되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 western blotting으로도 확인되었으며 그 억제율 %은 식육에서는 상당한 가열처리를 통하여 알레르기를 감소시킬 수 있는 것을 볼 수 있으며 또한 인산염, 가용화(NaOH처리)도 저 알레르기 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다. 키위, 쇄양 단독 처리 시 저 알레르기 효과가 없지만 약간의 가열을 통하여 알레르기가 감소됨을 알 수 있다. 우유는 효소나 autoclave 처리만이 저 allergy 효과가 각각 28%, 45%로 적게 나타났다. 모든 복합처리의 경우에서는 그 억제율이 41-96%로 높은 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다. 천연효소처리와 인산염 처리된 식육의 전자현미경적 관찰은 control과 비교시 조직의 변화가 없고 둘다 근육 단백질 구조를 분산시키는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 고기를 단계별 복합처리로 저 allergy 처리는 단계별로 점차적으로 allergy가 감소되었다. 즉 단계별로 억제가 안되는 것부터 억제되는 처리를 복합적으로 처리한 것으로 그 단계는 천연효소처리에 인산염 처리, 여기에 초음파 처리, 마지막 단계로 3분 끓이면 억제율이 68%까지 억제되었다. 이는 단일처리시 전혀 억제를 못하는 처리를 단계별로 한 단계씩 더해가면 allergy 억제효과가 나타난다고 할 수 있겠다. 초음파 처리도 역시 저 allergy 처리 공정에 이용될 수 있는데 이것은 그 처리로 인해 새로운 알러젠이 생성될 수도 있다. 또한 복합처리로 allergy를 감소시키면 연속적이고 동시적으로 하기 때문에 원가를 절감할 수 있다.

In Sacco Evaluation of Rumen Protein Degradation Characteristics and In vitro Enzyme Digestibility of Dry Roasted Whole Lupin Seeds (Lupinus albus)

  • The effects of dry roasting whole lupin seeds (lupinus albus, WLS) at 110, 130 or $150{^{\circ}C}$ for 15, 30 or 45 minutes on the in sacco rumen degradation characteristics, optimal heating conditions of time and temperature and in vitro enzyme digestibility were determined. Ruminant degradation characteristics (RDC) of crude protein (CP) of WLS were determined by in sacco technique in dairy cows. Measure ROC were soluble (S), undegradable (U), potentially degradable (D) fractions, lag time (TO) and rate of degradation (Kd) of insoluble but degradable fraction. Based on measured ROC, percentage bypass CP (%BCP) and bypass CP (BCP in g/kg, DM) were calculated. Degradability of CP was significantly reduced by dry roasting (p<0.001). The interaction of dry roasting temperature and time had significant effects on D (p<0.05), Kd (p<0.01), U (p<0.01), %BCP (p<0.001) and BCP (p<0.001) but not on S (p=0.923>0.05). With increasing time and temperature, S, D, Kd and U varied from 31.8%, 67.4%, 10.3%/h and 0.8% in the raw WLS (RWLS) to 27.1 %, 35.8%, 3.6%/h, 38.4% in $150{^{\circ}C}/45\;min$, respectively. All these effects resulted in increasing %BCP from 25.9 in RWLS to 61.0% in the $150{^{\circ}C}/45\;min$. Therefore BCP increased form 111.2 to 261.2 g/kg DM, respectively. Both %BCP and BCP at $150{^{\circ}C}/45\;min$ increased nearly 2.5 times over the RWLS. The effects of dry roasting on %BCP and BCP seemed to be linear up to the highest value tested. Although ROC had been altered by dry roasting, the In vitro perpsin-cellulase digestibility was generally unchanged. It was concluded that dry roasting was effective in shifting CP degradation from rumen to the lower gastrointestinal tract to potential reduce unnecessary N loss in the rumen. It might be of great value in successfully synchronizing the rhythms of release of nitrogen and energy in the rumen, thus achieving a more efficient fermentation of diets with high proportions of lignocellulosic resources. To determine the optimal dry roasting conditions, the digestibility of each treatment in the cows will be measured in the next trial using mobile bags technique.

표준기상데이터(부산지역) 적용에 따른 건축물에너지 분석 (Analysis of Building Energy by the Typical Meteorological Data)

  • Measures for coping with energy shortage are being sought all over the world. Following such a phenomenon, effort to use less energy in the design of buildings and equipment are being conducted. In particular, a program to evaluate the performance of a building comes into the spotlight. However. indispensable standard wether data to estimate the exact energy consumption of a building is currently unprepared. Thus, after appling standard weather data for four weather factors which were used in previous researches to Visual DOE 4.0, we compared it with the result of the existing data and evaluated them. For the monthly cooling and heating load of our target building, we used revised data for June, July, August, and September during which cooling load is applied. When not the existing data but the revised data was used, the research shows that an average of 14.9% increased in June, August, and September except for July. Also, in a case of heating load, the result by the revised data shows a reduction of an average of 11.9% from October to April during which heating load is applied. In particular, the heating loads of all months for which the revised data was used were more low than those of the existing data. In the maximum cooling and heating load according to load factors, the loads by residents and illumination for which the revised data was used were the same as those of the existing data, but the maximum cooling loads used by the two data have a difference in structures such as walls and roofs. Through the above results, the research cannot clearly grasp which weather data influences the cooling and heating load of a building. However, in the maximum loads by the change of weather data in four factors (dry-bulb temperature, web-bulb temperature, cloud amount, and wind speed) among 14 weather factors, the research shows that 5.95% in cooling load and 27.56% in heating load increased, and these results cannot be ignored. In order to make weather data for Performing energy performance evaluation for future buildings, the flow of weather data for the Present and past should be obviously grasped.

동절기 온도(溫度)에 따른 바위솔의 생장과 개화 (Effect of Different Temperatures on Growing and Flowering of Orostachys japonicus A. Berger)

  • 식물체의 개화는 온도와 일장에 의하여 크게 영향을 받는다. 본 연구는 night-break 처리로 개화가 억제되는 상태에서 월동중의 유지온도가 일임성 식물인 바위솔의 생장과 개화에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 자연상태의 대조구와 $10^{\circ}C$$20^{\circ}C$ 이하로 온도가 내려갈 경우 가온하는 3개 처리로 구분하여 시험을 수행하였던 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1.초장, 화서장, 엽과 포엽수 및 경직경은 자연상태에서 재배되는 것보다는 $10^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 가온하여 재배할 경우 길고 많거나 굵어졌던 반면, $10^{\circ}C$ 또는 $20^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 가온할 경우 차이가 없었다. 2. 엽과 포엽중, 경중, 근중, 지상부중, 전체건물중은 자연상태에 비하여 $10^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 가온할 경우 10월 하순부터 많았던 반면, $10^{\circ}C$ 또는 $20^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 가온할 경우 차이가 거의 없었다. 3. 월동중 유지온도가 높을수록 형성된 소화수는 많았으나, 형성된 소화의 개화는 적어지는 경향을 보였다. 4. 소화가 개화된 개체의 비율은 자연상태에서는 전체가, $10^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 유지할 경우 25% 정도에 이르렀으나, $20^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 유지할 경우 전무하였다.

A Process for Preventing Enzymatic Degradation of Rutin in Tartary Buckwheat (Fagopyrum tataricum Gaertn) Flour

  • The use of tartary buckwheat flour as a source of dietary rutin has been limited because of the enzymatic degradation of rutin during the dough-making process, which results in a bitter taste. A variety of pretreatment regimes, including heating, steaming, boiling, and extruding, were evaluated in relation to the inactivation of the rutin-degrading enzyme responsible for rutin loss and color change during dough-making. Steaming (120 see), boiling (90 see) buckwheat grains, or extruding (180 rpm/min at $140^{\circ}C$) the flour resulted in the retention of >85% of the original rutin and eliminated the bitter taste in the hydrated flours. In contrast, dry heating at $140^{\circ}C$ for 9 min or microwaving at 2,450 MHz for 3 min did not reduce the rutin loss, and the bitter taste remained. Unlike in the flour, the rutin degradation in water-soaked grains was insignificant at room temperature. Moreover, the samples treated by steaming, boiling, or extrusion were darker and more reddish in color.

Rotary Kiln 식석회소성로에서의 분코크스 연소 기술 (Development of Coke Breeze Combustion Technology in the Calcining Rotary Kiln)

  • A dust injection system was developed for the lime calcining rotary kiln for the coke dust from the coke dry quenching(CDQ) facility to be used as a fuel. The CDQ dust was injected with the gaseous fuel through the hole in the burner. In order to prevent the spot heating large particles should be removed from dust and dust should be injected as fast as possible so that particle combustion lasts as long as possible without precipitation. This is especially necessary when dust is burned together with gaseous fuel because the gaseous fuel can not go so far and in addition dust combustion aggravates hot spot heating. In this research a rotation drum screen was used to remove particles with diameter larger than 4mm and dust injection speed was 40m/sec. And the burner was adjusted not to use swirl that hinders flame go far away. With these measures scale generation iside the kiln could be reduced to be negligible and in addition NOx emission could be reduced from 150ppm to 20ppm. The fuel reduction was about 85Mcal/T-lime.

수직원통식 박막 건조방식에 의한 하수슬러지의 저위발열량 특성 (Characteristics of Low Calorific Value of Sewage Sludge by Drying Method)

  • In this study, the water content and the low calorific value of the dried sludge are analyzed by using a vertical cylinder type indirect heating type dryer for evaluatation of energy source value. The vertical cylindrical thin film dryer was an Okadora Pilot Plant, and the dryer was indirect heating vertical thin film type. The internal standard consisted of 500 mm in diameter and 700 mm in height. In the drying experiment, 10 kg of dehydrated sewage sludge was added to the dryer and the total amount of the sludge was adjusted to 27 times by variable of the time, the number of revolutions and the steam temperature. The results of analysis of the 27th experiment component of the dried product showed that the average low calorific value of about 11.2 MJ/kg and the water content of 6%. This is satisfy the fuel use standard of the thermal power plant of the sludge.

고온 및 저온하에서의 암석의 변형, 파괴 특성 (Failure and Deformation Characteristics of Rock at High and Low Temperatures)

  • It is very important to determine the thermo-mechanical characteristics of the rock mass surrounding the repository of radioctive waste and the LPG storage cavern. In this study, Hwasoon-Shist. Dado-Tuff adn Chunan-Tonalite were the selected rock types. Temperature dependence of the mechanical properteis such as uniaxial compressive strength, tensile strength, Young's modulus was investigated by measuring the behaviour of these properties due to the variation of temperature. Also, the characteristics of strength and deformation of these rocks were examined through high-temperature triaxial compression tests with varing temperatures and confining pressures. Important results obtained are as follows: In high temperature tests, the uniaxial compressive strength and Yong's modulus of Tonalite showed a sligth increase at a temperature up to 300$^{\circ}C$ and a sharp decrease beyond 300$^{\circ}C$, and the tensile strength showed a linear decrease with increasing heating-temperature. In high-temperature triaxial compression test, both the failure stress and Young's modulus of Tonalite increased with the increase of confining pressure at constant heating-temperature, and the failure stress decreased at 100$^{\circ}C$ but increased at 200$^{\circ}C$ under a constant confining pressure. In low temperature tests, the uniaxial compressive and tensile strengths and Young's modulus of these rocks increased as the cooling-temperature is reduced. Also, the uniaxial compressive and tensile strengths of wet rock specimens are less than those of dry rock specimens.

참억새(Miscanthus)燃料의 着火溫度 및 燃燒熱量 (Catch-fire Temperature and Amount of Combustion-Heat on the Fuel of Miscanthus type)

  • This study examined the relationship among catch-fire, burning, maximum temperature (MT), amount of combustion-heat (ACH), and combustive time (CT) in heating temperature treated with the same amount of each organ of Miscanthus. In the survey sites, about 19% of the areaswere covered by Miscanthus types, and the dry weight of Miscanthus and debris on the ground were 1,164 and 178 g/㎡, respectively. At 350℃ and 400℃, the rise of temperature by Culm type (culms and ears) and Leaf type (leaves and debris) were 90℃ and 82℃, respectively. At 350℃, durning time (BT) of culms-200, ears-200, ears-200, leaves-200 and debris-200 was 0-10’30”, 0-07’40”, 0-04’20”and 0-02’40”, and that at 400℃ was 0-01’20”, 0-00’50” 0-00’35”and 0-00’30”, respectively. BT was shorter at higher temperatures, and BT of Leaf type was shorter than that of Culm type. The amount of samples consumed was as follows: Culm type (culms-200 and ears-200) was 14.6g and 12.6g more than Leaf type (leaves-200 and debris-200) at 350℃ and 400℃, respectively. The total amount of combustion-heat (TACH) of samples was 5,859.7 kcal. The amount of mean combustion-heat generated from sample at 350℃ and 400℃ differed little: 727.6 kcal (24.9%) at 350℃ and 737.3 kcal (26.0%) at 400℃.
