  • Kato[6] and Torres[9] characterized the Weierstrass semigroup of ramification points on h-hyperelliptic curves. Also they showed the converse results that if the Weierstrass semigroup of a point P on a curve C satisfies certain numerical condition then C can be a double cover of some curve and P is a ramification point of that double covering map. In this paper we expand their results on the Weierstrass semigroup of a ramification point of a double covering map to the Weierstrass semigroup of a pair (P, Q). We characterized the Weierstrass semigroup of a pair (P, Q) which lie on the same fiber of a double covering map to a curve with relatively small genus. Also we proved the converse: if the Weierstrass semigroup of a pair (P, Q) satisfies certain numerical condition then C can be a double cover of some curve and P, Q map to the same point under that double covering map.

  • In this paper, thermodynamic design data for heating of double-effect absorption system using LiCl-water for evaporator heating source of sofar energy are investigated for the water-LiCl pair and a comparative study of the water-LiCl pair with the water-LiBr pair is given used for the computer simulation. The computer simulation is based on mass, material and heat balance equations for each part of the system. Coefficients of performance and flow ratios for effects of different operating temperatures are investigated. It is found that the heating COP is higher for the water -LiCl pair than for the water-LiBr pair, and FR is lower for the water-LiCl pair than for the water LiBr pair.

  • Spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric methods of analysis were conducted in dilute aqueous solutions of methylene blue and tetraphenylborate. The formation of double ion-pair was confirmed and its overall formation constant, ${\Delta}H^{\circ}$, and ${\Delta}S^{\circ}$ were obtained. The irradiation with wavelengths over visible region resulted in bleaching the mixed solution. The bleaching reaction was also proceeded at $55^{\circ}C$. The reactions of the double ion-pair were briefly discussed.

  • In this paper a printed pair dipole antenna with double tapered microstrip balun for wireless communications is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of a pair arm of different sizes that is branched microstrip line and microstrip line with the ground plane on opposite side of the dielectric substrate plane. The proposed antenna is matched between the ground plane to the microstrip line by double tapered microstrip balun. This antenna obtains multi-band radiation frequency band. The impedance bandwidths for a reflection coefficient of VSWR ≤ 2 are about 1.01 GHz (2.35~3.336 GHz), 1.56 GHz (4.7~6.26 GHz) and 1.15GHz (6.85~8.0[GHz]). Additionally, the measurement peak gain is about 3.6 dBi. The proposed antenna is able to support wireless communication applications.

  • Optical-optical double resonance experiments have been used to identify and characterize five ion-pair states and several of the bound and repulsive valence states of ClF. This report provides a description of these experiments for $^{35}CIF$ and $^{37}CIF$, and a summary of the current knowledge of the valence and ion-pair states. The important role of perturbations among the rovibronic levels of the bound valence states and their utilization in the double resonance technique is discussed. The ion-pair states of the same symmetry, ${\Omega}$=$0^+$ (E and f) and 1( $\beta$ and G) interact very strongly and the spectroscopy of these states is anomalous and, hence, interesting. Comparison is made to some recent ab initio calculations for ClF. One possible explanation of the irregular vibrational energy levels and rotational constants of the ion-pair states of $O^+$ and 1 symmetry is a crossing of the diabatic potentials of these states. Some currently unresolved questions about ClF spectroscopy are posed for future work. Where appropriate, analogy is made between the electronic states of ClF and the corresponding valence and ion-pair states of $Cl_2.$.

  • After preparation of the bone bed, two doubly loaded suture anchors with suture eyelets are inserted at the articular margin of the greater tuberosity. A retrograde suture-passing instrument penetrates the rotator cuff to retrieve the sutures through the modiWed Neviaser or subclavian portal. An ipsilateral pair of suture eyelets in the suture anchor is passed through the margins of the rotator cuff tear. The blue suture of the second and third pair is pulled out of the lateral cannula, and the threaded blue suture of the third pair in the needle is passed through the blue suture of the second pair. After retrieving the blue suture of the firrst pair through the anterior portal, it is pulled out to pass the blue suture of the third pair through the eyelet of the anteromedial anchor. The blue suture is linked between two anchors. The medial row of suture bridge is repaired with a sliding knot, and the sutures are not cut. Once the rotator cuff repair using the suture-bridge technique has been performed, the two blue strands in the anterior portal are tied. We describe our technique that possesses the advantages of both the double-pulley and suturebridge techniques, which improves the pressurized contact area and maximizes compression along the medial row.

  • In the paper we consider deemed three mock theta functions introduced by Hikami. We have given their alternative expressions in double summation analogous to Hecke type expansion. In proving we also give a new Bailey pair relative to $a^2$. I presume they will be helpful in getting fundamental transformations.

  • In this paper, a thermodynamic analysis was performed to provide design data for a double-effect absorption heating system with water-LiBr-LiSCN mixture which utilizes solar energy as evaporator heat source. In addition, a comparative study of the water-LiBr-LiSCN mixture against the water-LiBr pair was conducted by a computer simulation. The computer simulation is based on mass, material and heat balance equations for each part of the system. Coefficients of performance and flow ratios for effects of different operating temperatures are investigated. It is found that the heating COP is higher for the water-LiBr-LiSCN mixture than for the water-LiBr pair, and FR is lower for the former.

  • This study investigated the heat transmission coefficient through the experiment that the skylight, slope window of 60 degree and 30 degree consisted of pair glass and the double window of external window and internal window paper were suitable for heat insulation. As the result of experiment, the heat transmission coefficient of slope window was 1.06 times in the 60 degree, 1.18 times in the 30 degree and 1.31 times in the skylight as a standard lateral window. The heat transmission coefficient in the double window of external window and internal window paper was 3.017$\textrm{㎉}$/$\textrm{m}^2$.hr.$^{\cire}C$. The slope window was not suitable for the prescription by the increase of the heat transmission coefficient, so the user must pay attention to the treatment. This study investigated only the slope window of 12mm and 16mm pair glass and the double window of external window and internal window paper, study on the various pattern of window must be achived in a future.

  • We measured the critical current of a Cooper pair transistor consisting of two Josephson junctions and a gate electrode. The Cooper pair transistors were fabricated by using electron-beam lithography and double-angle evaporation technique. The Gate voltage dependence of critical current was measured by observing voltage jumps at various gate voltages while sweeping bias current. The observed oscillation was 2e-periodic, which shows the Cooper pair transistor had low level of quasiparticle poisoning.
