여성농업인 리더의 사고행동 패턴과 직무지향 특성에 관한 일 고찰 (A Study on Rural Women Leader's Action in Pattern and Doing in Style Based on Self Motivation Control)

  • According to shift of the political focus from agricultural productivity to social development, it has been increased importance of local leader in rural society. Especially rural women leader's role has been increased not only in agricultural business but also in social activity of locality. Although a lot of leadership study related to rural community development, it has been very scarcely study about leader's action in pattern or doing in style based on psychological scale. Therefore this a kind of pilot study on that. For this data, it was gathered from 24 female farmer leaders of a federation group in 2005. In this study, to define the action in pattern or doing in style of leader, it was adopted to Ozasz Yoshihisa's scale which is consisted of 40 items into 8 types. From analysis of female farmer leader's action in pattern or doing in style, most of them were belong to volunteer type, generalist type, farmer type. This menas most of them were head toward maintenance of the present status, keeping one's balance, adaptation oneself to new environment, or acceptance the logic of events, not trying to innovate. But it was not clear that any variable has a relation in the action in pattern or the doing in style, for definition of variables, it should be more detailed study.

이태리 패션 브랜드의 브랜드 아이덴티티(Brand Identity)와 관련한 텍스타일 패턴 디자인 개발 유형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Style of Textile Pattern Design Identifying Italian Fashion Brand)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the style of textile pattern design on the process of building the fashion brand identity. In so doing, the study analyzes the color, style, and layout of the motive, and the drawings of the patter of textile of top seven Italian fashion brands which present in presented eight fashion design collections during the 1997∼2000 period. The results of the analysis show that the seven brands exhibit their unique characteristics of the color, style, and layout of the motive, and the drawings of the pattern of textile. The results can be interpreted in a way that their distinct features oft textile pattern design indeed contribute toward the establishment of their unique brand image and brand identity. The results of this study suggests that to initiate the top fashion brand, the fashion industry should develop its own unique style of textile pattern design.

국내의 AV주변 가구의 최근 디자인 경향 (A Study on the Latest Design Trends in Domestic AV (Audio Video) Storage Furniture)

  • The rapid increase in apartments of Korea brought about overall changes in the life style, and definitely played the biggest role to convert into western style. Since 1960, furniture has been changed for 50 years along with apartments, but furniture companies and the academic world had insufficient historical materials and lack of study. In addition, considering the changing trend according to residents' life style, the data of furniture industries should be collected to study every year or in 5 years at least. Therefore, this study aims to provide basic data that gives historical materials or design clues based on recent AV equipment-oriented storage furniture in the living room that prioritized design in public space. Accordingly, the study looked into the periodical trends of Korean furniture industries, analyzed 10 furniture companies in Korea which is actively doing business as the sample and arranged key points of periodical changes of furniture in the table, and suggested the conclusion according to the image map, style, color, material, and function.

  • 웨어러블 컴퓨팅 환경은 대개 이동 중일 가능성이 많고 이때 눈과 손이 자유롭지 못하고 많은 주의가 필요한데 기존의 데스크탑 인터페이스 방식(WIMP)은 적합하지 않다. 또한 웨어러블 환경에서 모바일 기기의 소형화로 인하여 작은 화면에서 정보를 확인하고 처리해야 하기 때문에 기능 수행에 따른 인지부하가 늘어남과 동시에 수행 속도가 느려지고 많은 오류가 발생하는 등 어려움이 따른다. 이와 같이 변화된 환경에 적합한 입력 방식의 적정 수준을 찾는 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 이동 상황에서 모바일 기기를 사용할 때 동시에 여러 가지 일을 수행함으로써 걸릴 수 있는 인지부하를 줄여주기 위한 방법을 기기의 입력 방식과 사용되는 메뉴구조의 복잡성을 중심으로 분석하였다. 입력 방식을 포인팅입력 방식, 버튼입력 방식, 동작입력 방식으로 나누고, 이 방식들을 통한 메뉴탐색 과제와 화면에 제시되는 도형기억 과제를 동시에 수행했을 때 수행의 정확도와 과제수행 속도를 측정하였다. 또한 제시되는 메뉴탐색 과제의 메뉴계층의 수를 변화시켜서 입력 방식의 복잡성에 따른 과제 수행을 살펴보았다. 실험은 정지 상황과 이동 상황에서 모두 이루어졌다. 정지 상황과 이동 상황 모두에서 포인팅입력 방식이 과제 수행의 정확도가 가장 높은 반면 수행 속도에서 가장 느린 것으로 나타났다. 동작입력 방식에서는 수행의 정확도는 떨어졌으나 수행 속도는 빠르게 나타났다. 이는 이동 중에 수행되는 과제에서 정확도보다도 속도가 중요한 상황에서는 동작입력 방식이 적합하다는 것을 시사한다.

성인의 분노표현 방식과 뇌졸중 위험 요인 (Anger Expression Style and Risk Factors for Stroke)

  • Purpose: As anger may be strongly related to stroke, this study examined the relationship between anger expression style (anger-in, anger-out, anger-control) and risk factors for stroke to investigate the possible attribution of anger expression style to stroke incidence. Methods: The cross sectional study design was employed. The 291 participants signed consent forms and completed questionnaires including the anger expression style scales and risk factors for stroke. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test and One-way ANOVA. Results: The highest score among anger expression styles of the participants was from anger-control. Participants with higher mean value of anger-out were current non-smokers, doing regular exercise, having scores above 23 in Body Mass Index, having scores above 90 cm (male) or 80 cm (female) in abdominal circumference, and having scores below 85 mmHg in diastolic blood pressure. Participants with more than 5 risk factors to stroke had the highest score of anger-in. Conclusion: The results of this study implied anger expression style was psychological risk factor for stroke. Further studies to differentiate the anger expression style contributing to the risk of stroke are needed with a longitudinal study design.

한국스타일 아파트 단지 외부공간 계획의 기초연구 (Schematic Study for 'Korea Style' Exterior Space Planning of Apartment)

  • With the IMF crisis in the late 1990's, coupled with the excessive supply of housing stock from the past, construction companies are adopting various differentiating strategies to address the decreasing apartment sales rates. Most of those strategies tend to follow the recent trend of 'eco-friendliness,' creating images of the apartments as 'well-being housing types.' In doing so, green spaces and water features are actively being used in outdoor landscapes design. One specific trend that can be witnessed is the efforts to make reference to the traditional Korean design languages, known as the 'Korean Style.' However, the applications of the 'Korea Style' on landscape design are being explored only by the construction companies, while most researches on the 'Korean Style' focus on its application on the indoor housing units. In this context, this series of case studies of the application of 'Korea Style' on landscape design attempts to extract design elements that can be set as basic guidelines.

Defining the Nature of Online Chat in Relation to Speech and Writing

  • Style is considered a pivotal construct in sociolinguistic variation studies. While previous studies have examined style in traditional forms of language such as speech, very little research has examined new and emerging styles such as computer-mediated discourse. Thus, the present study attempts to investigate style in the online communication mode of chat. In so doing, the study compares text-based online chat with speech and writing. Online chat has been previously described as a hybrid form of language that is close to speech. Here, the exact nature of online chat is elucidated by focusing on contraction use. Differential acquisition of stylistic variation is also examined according to English learning background. The empirical component consists of data from Korean speakers of English. Data is taken from a written summary, an oral interview, and a text-based online chat session. A multivariate analysis was conducted. Results indicate that online chat is indeed a hybrid form that is difficult to delineate from speech and writing. Text-based online chat shows a somewhat similar rate of contraction to speech, which confirms its hybridity.. Lastly, some implications of the study are given in terms of the learning and acquisition of style in general and in online contextual modes.

Rest Costume Design with Traditional Image of Korea for Tourist Industry - Centering on Hotel Supply -

  • This study aims to recognize the value of traditional culture and to create 'Korean style rest costume' i.e. in-door clothes for comfort's purpose designed for hotel or other tourist accommodations with its own image. In so doing, national pride and identity will be exalted for Koreans, while an opportunity of cultural expose will be provided for foreigners through the symbols of Korea, which will contribute to the international introduction and representation of Korea. First, this study investigates the external characteristics in forms and structures of Korean style rest costume. Second, questionnaires regarding consciousness of Korean style rest costume and preference in design are distributed to the hotel guest and staff-both domestic and international- to be fir out. Lastly, designed rest costume representing Korean image, based on the results of the survey. Upon investigation, users and employers both preferred two piece style which is separated to upper garment and lower garment. While employers preferred short sleeve, users preferred long sleeves. In colors, employers preferred blue while users preferred white. In garments, both of. the employers and users preferred cotton, towel and cotton flannel. In addition, when introducing rest costume, it will be efficient to distinct the strategy between natives and foreigners, and also distinguish where the rest costume will be used.

  • The vehicle navigation system is developed for helping driver to retrieve driving information more easily and lastly. Navigation System informs driver many pieces of driving information - roadway structure and system, on-line traffic condition, the position of vehicle, route guidance, destination and other infor- mation service. As the style of information is diverse and the amount of information is large, driver may have mental and visual overload. The display of information can disturb the driver's attention and this can cause accidents. This state is caused by the defect of human-machine interactions. When the navigation system is designed, human factors - cognitive, judgment, operating -must be considered. The display style must be designed simply and easily, not to be obstacle of human - machine interface. In this study, outside- in view display style and inside-out view display style are compared each other. Tow factors are measured. One is cognitive factor-time of cognition on information that is displayed by screen display, cognition error rate. The other is image of screen display - subject's feeling about several styles of display, degree of subject's preference. The prototype of roadway is four kinds -Cross, T-cross and O-cross. Roadway display for test is taken from paper maps. Traffic condition display style, vehicle position display style and route guidance display style are taken from current display style. Traffic condition display style is symbol. vehicle position display style and route guidance display style are described as color and symbol. The test on screen display is implemented doing given tasks. Then the test is analyzed statistically. The result of test analysis gives the guideline to the designer for the map display of the vehicle navigation system.
