In the development of executive information systems (EIS) the selection of an appropriate software package as a system building tool is regarded as a key technology. This paper attempts to shed some light on the evolving field of EIS software packages and provides a helpful Guideline for selecting the most suitable product by addressing significant considerations. A framework is presented that includes a six-step evaluation process: need analysis, team building, vendor survey, identification of decision criteria, and building an evaluation model and its verification. The major evaluation criteria of the full-featured software include: special functionality, reporting, graphics. decision support capability user friendliness, general functionality physical requirements, communication linkage, vendor support, cost related factors, performance, and documentation capability. An illustrative model using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method is also discussed to prove the appropriateness of our approach.

Documentation of patient care has much emphasis during the past few years. As reviewing the orthopedic, neurosurgery, rehabilitation medicine of progress note, SOAP note, modified SOAP note and have been integrated a model of Korean clinical progress note of physical therapy. Academically, educationally and clinically development of physical therapy depend upon writing clinical progress note. Based on the research results, the following considerations and guideline are presented. 1. Include writing a clinical progress note of physical therapy in the school curriculums. 2. Physical therapist write the clinical progress note their procedure to the patients. 3. Korean Physical Therapy Association can provide a model of clinical progress note of physical therapy.

The reuse of software components from existing software system enhances productivity and reliability, decreases the cost of production in software development. The extraction of software components with high reusability from existing software system is very important in software reuse. The reuse of a class is classified into white-box reuse to reuse with modification and black-box reuse to reuse without modification. A class has the property of procedural language and object-oriented language. Therefore, it must measure reusability in consideration of two properties. In black-box reuse, independence of class is important quality. It can quantify through information hiding, coupling between objects, cohesion, etc. In white-box reuse, modification is the best important quality. It can quality through class complexity, coupling, cohesion, documentation, etc. We propose a new model for measurement of class reusability and the measure criteria in object-oriented program. A class that is measured by proposed model can judge whether the reuse with modification has the advantage or the reuse without modification has the advantage.

In this paper, we implement the multimedia dynamic authoring system based on causality model. we define two specifications which support user to specify intuitively and naturally what he/she wants, The temporal specification describes causal-based temporal relationships between presentation objects, and the spatial specification describes relative layout structure among objects on the screen. Using the specifications, the system processes for multimedia documentation are one-dimensional string list, relational trees, such as temporal. spatial, and annotated composition tree generation phases.

As yet the use of 3D scanning technology has been limited to documentation, preservation and monitoring in cultural and natural heritage domain. Appropriate visualization of precise geometric information in scan data can support scientific interpretation of the domain experts. We studied the rendering techniques which visualize the required features from scanned models, and proposed a 3D scan data visualization pipeline, rendering methods, and a classification scheme. As a case study, we analyzed the traditional method in the study of dinosaur tracks and performed the visualization of 3D scanned models. A user test based on the result confirmed an effectiveness of the proposed method. This research showed a practical method in which 3D scanned models can be used to effective interpretation of heritage.

The purpose of this research is to present about a series of processes for 3D model generation from scan data of two types of Korean styled architectures, namely, a pavilion and a house, which were acquired with the terrestrial LiDAR and evaluate a 3D surveying method to document digitally the traditional buildings, cultural properties, archeological sites, etc. Since most ancient buildings and cultural assets which require digital documentation by the terrestrial laser scanner usually need to acquire data from multi-directions. Therefore this paper suggested a process of acquiring and integrating data from mult-stations around the object. Also we presented a way for reconstructing automatically at once both the interior and exterior surfaces of buildings from laser scan data.

The conventional systems engineering has been performed mainly based on documentation artifacts. Although the Document-Based Systems Engineering has played a very important role in developing and deploying systems, it is difficult for systems engineers to build, to clarify, and to reuse the operational, functional and physical views of the System of Interest (SOI) efficiently. An information-age approach to this problem is the Model-Based Systems Engineering which has been emerging as a very productive solution for stakeholders to define, and understand the desired systems easily, to communicate and collaborate efficiently among each other, and also to verify and validate the systems solutions effectively. This paper proposes a set of MBSE process, methods, and models for use during the systems analysis and design phase of the naval combat system development. An example application of the proposed approach was exercised and a set of artifacts was generated for an export combat system project to demonstrate its effectiveness.

This article examines the Practical Suggestions in the Contract for the Turnkey Supply of an Industrial Plant based on a study focused on the commentary of "ICC Model Contract" clause which is encouraged by ICC. Especially practical issues are inquired into on business and legal perspective as follows. First, in regard to supply of technical documentation, equipment and spare parts, it is important to supplier and purchaser to agree on obtaining technical documents necessary for installing and operating plant, and also components necessary for it's maintenance. Second, it is about erection, testing, taking over and training chapter. Both parties need to agree about the process of the arrival of equipments and assembly conducted by the supplier and following examination and also training purchaser to operate it Third, when it comes to price, payment conditions, bank guarantees, parties are to make decision on the pricing, payment conditions and currency of contract-payment. Lastly, it is necessary to reach an agreement of the issue of whether it is to be defined as delay or non-performance of the contract and also it's consequences about rights and obligation.

This study examines the collection policy of University Archives. The establishment of collection policy enables university archives to concentrate in which memories of university to remain and provide as archives. Accordingly, this study, making a model of university archives in early sage of establishment, intends to investigate the collection policy for collecting archives in university. The first chapter defines the fields and categories of collection of archives. In order to define the collection categories, it outlines the history of the university and set up the fields and categories for documentation. In the second chapter, this study examines about the factors which forms the document of the collection policy, such as a missions statement, a guide to collection, and a guide to acceptance by items. Then, this study, applying items mentioned above, suggests a plan for a collection policy. The model presented in this study may not represent the model of collection policy in the university archives. However, it is meaningful as a study of collection policy and has purpose and significance in making a stepping stone for more developmental collection policy.

This study aims to propose a model for developing participatory labor archives as locality ones. First, it proceeded the literature reviews and expert interviews, so that revealed the needs for participations in building labor archives, participating agents/agencies and the type of participation, especially in industrial labor archives. After examining domestic and foreign labor archives, the way of participation was analysed. Based on the analysis the model for developing participatory labor archives in terms of the principles, the procedure and the participation methods were proposed.
