Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the differential effect of workforce diversity on employee productivity and its subsequent impact on customer experience. Research design, data and methodology: A once-off cross-sectional research design was used in this study where the Zimbabwean civil service was targeted. Randomization was used to collect 324 validated responses. The study focused on both primary (age and gender) and secondary (education and political affiliation) dimensions of workforce diversity. Results: The results were confirmatory that workforce diversity is a significant predictor of employee productivity (β = 0.668, P < 0.05), at the same time employee productivity holds explanation to customer experience by 37%. Results also revealed that gender diversity, educational diversity and political diversity were significant determinants of workforce diversity (P < 0.05). However, the study established that age diversity was not a significant factor in enhancing employee productivity (P > 0.05). Conclusions: The study concluded that workforce diversity is a powerful tool in enhancing both customer experience and employee productivity. As such, the latter can be augmented through shrewd workforce diversity practices as championed by management. To that end, the study recommends the development of a workforce diversity framework which promotes inclusivity.

This study examines how experience diversity of chief technology officer (CTO) drives radical innovation of the firm, and the moderation effect of group attributes of top management team. Using data of 148 firms in U.S. manufacturing industries, this study finds that a CTO's diverse functional experience increases a firm radicalness, and diverse industrial experience also increases the radicalness. This study also examined the moderating effect of top management team (TMT) characteristics such as TMT size, TMT tenure, and gender composition in TMT. The positive relationship of CTO knowledge diversity and firm radicalness is weakened as TMT size or TMT tenure increased while the relationship is strengthened as gender diversity in TMT increased. These results of the analysis of firm-level radicalness provide implications for both academics and practitioners.

This study examined human rights perception, cultural diversity perception, level of character perception, and influencing factors for university students in order to prepare basic data on integrated education methods of character, human rights and cultural diversity and education program models. The research questions are as follows. 1. What are university students' perceptions of character, cultural diversity and human rights? 2. What is the status of the experience of family life education on character, cultural diversity, and human rights, and is it related to the level of perception? 3. What variables affect character perception, cultural diversity perception, and human rights perception? The survey targeted 407 students at two universities in Seoul and used IBM PASW Statistics as a tool to analyze data. The study results are as follows. First, university students' character, cultural diversity and human rights perception were above average; however, empirical education is still required because they had low scores in the area of action. Second, male university students have less experience in family life education on character, cultural diversity and human rights compared to female university students. Third, it is necessary to integrate education for character, cultural diversity and human rights because the most influential factors in character perception, cultural diversity perception and human rights perception were character education. The role of family life education should be considered important because personality education in the home showed a relatively high correlation.

본 연구는 기존 연구들에서 언급된 집단지성 발현의 선행요인들을 검증함으로써 관련분야 발전에 기여하는 것을 연구 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 집단지성 발현의 선행요건으로 과업의 복잡성과 의미성, 다양성, 경험에 대한 개방성, 커뮤니케이션 독립성, 의사결정의 분권화, ICT(Information and Communication Technologies) 활용을 검토하였다. 연구가설 검증을 위해 연구개발 사업부에 속한 구성원을 대상으로 200부의 설문지를 배포하였고, 회수된 198부 중에서 불성실한 13개를 제외한 185개의 데이터를 최종 분석하였다. 분석결과, 과업의 의미성, 경험에 대한 개방성, 의사결정 분권화, ICT활용이 각각 집단지성 발현에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 지각된 비유사성과 가치 다양성은 각각 집단지성 발현에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 모든 변수들을 함께 고려했을 때, ICT 활용, 과업의 의미, 경험에 대한 개방성, 인지된 비유사성과 가치 다양성 순서로 집단지성 발현에 영향을 미치는 것을 발견하였다. 본 연구결과의 이론 및 실무적 시사점은 토의부분에서 자세히 분석하였다.

This paper discusses American disability theater's representations of disability identity and disability identity politics. Dramatists John Belluso and Lynn Manning, among others, present characters with disabilities who experience oppressions at multiple, interlocking levels of domination on the basis of disability, race, and ethnicity. In Manning's Shoot, the black, blind hero iterates episodes in which he experienced discrimination and insults in encounters with whites who used derogatory racist words or belittled him and with some school children who taunted him for just being blind. This play, as in Manning's solo performance, Weights, presents narratives of a blind person traversing multiple locations of oppression in "a long litany of losses" in a white-dominated and ableist society. Belluso's Gretty Good Time similarly weaves together stories of disabled women, Gretty and Hideko, who bond together to resist the dominant ideology that reduces them into titillating commodities of mass consumption. Hideko's story serves the two-fold function of both affirming the specificity of her individual experience as an ethnic other and espousing the communal experience of stigmatization she shares with other disabled women like Gretty. In these plays, the intersection of the identity categories of disability, race, and ethnicity highlights the diversity of the body and the fluidity of boundaries, foregounding the specificity of disabled bodies, while at the same time overthrowing the hierarchical binarism between disabled and "normal" bodies.

인식 주체는 자신의 경험을 바탕으로 주어진 대상에 구조를 부여하여 대상을 구조로 인식하려고 한다. 주어진 문제 맥락 속에서 주체가 대상에 부여할 수 있는 구조는 횡적, 종적으로 다양하다. 구조의 횡적 다양성의 측면에서, 한 대상 속에서 다양한 구조를 발견하는 데 초점을 맞춘 문제해결 활동은 다양한 전략 사용에 중점을 둔 문제해결 교육의 보완이 될 수 있다 또, 도형 패턴 과제에서 일반식의 발견은 문제해결의 종착점이 아닌 새로운 구조 탐구의 시발점으로 여겨져야 한다. 구조의 종적 다양성의 측면에서, 교사는 학생이 보는 구조와 교사가 보는 구조가 다를 가능성에 유의하면서, 구조의 종적 다양성에 기초하여 아동이 진보의 경험을 할 수 있도록 지도하는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of consumption experience on customer satisfaction and customer happiness for dessert cafe. The survey was conducted with those who have visited dessert cafes in Seoul and Kyonggi area, using a convenience sampling method. After a total of 200 responses was collected, 172 responses were included for the multiple regression analyses in order to test the hypotheses. The results are as follows. First, it was found that consumption experience did not have an effect on customer satisfaction for dessert cafes. Second, the consumption experience (diversity, symbolism, sociality, and playfulness) of dessert cafe significantly impacted customer happiness. As a conclusion, consumption experience at dessert cafes has increased customer happiness by improving the psychological gratification rather than cognitive satisfaction.

본 연구의 목적은 창업자의 사회적 네트워크의 유대관계의 강도와 다양성이 창업성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 창업자의 창업 경험이 사회적 네트워크와 성과간의 관계에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 연구의 가설 검증을 위해 창업자 및 창업기업에 종사하는 구성원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 PLS를 통한 경로분석을 실시하였다. 실증적 연구 분석결과 사회적 네트워크의 유대정도는 생산적 성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치지만 창의적인 성과에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 반면 사회적 네트워크의 다양성은 생산적 성과에 영향을 미치지 않지만, 창의적인 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 창업경험의 조절효과는 네트워크의 유대정도와 창업 성과 간의 관계에서 유의하게 나타났으며 사회적 네트워크의 다양성과 성과간의 관계에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 창업가의 사회적 네트워크와 창업경험의 중요성을 인지하고 창업성과를 위한 효율적인 사회적 네트워크 활용을 제시하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11p WAVE 모뎀을 위한 다이버시티 모뎀 구조를 제안하고 설계하였으며, 이를 실차에 장착하여 성능테스트를 수행하였다. 제안한 구조는 듀얼채널과 다이버시티 기능을 선택적으로 수행할 수 있으며, 선택적 안테나 다이버시티와 Maximum Ratio Combining (MRC) 다이버시티 기능 중하나를 선택하여 수신할 수 있다. 개발된 구조는 HDL로 설계되어 Xillinx Kintex7보드를 이용하여 실도로에서 실차에 장착하여 테스트를 수행하여 성능을 검증하였다. 실험결과 개발된 다이버시티 모뎀은 단일 채널 모뎀에 비하여 안정적인 통신 성공률을 유지할 수 있으며, 전송거리도 30%이상 향상됨을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate city residents' attitudes and cognition of Daegu City toward Green Tourism. A Questionnaire survey was conducted in september, 2006. The sum of 515 copies was analyzed. City residents recognized the problems of leisure activities as 'burden of expense', 'lack of program diversity' and the advantages of this as 'withdrawal of stress and increase of vitality', 'promotion of health for themselves and their family'. Among theme experiential activities, they preferred 'health/leports experience' 'traditional food experience', 'traditional culture experience', 'nature-ecological experience', respectively. By the result of cross-table analysis, there are many differences between groups by gender & age. Therefore, further development of specific experiencing activity programs and marketing techniques, are required.
