The culture phenomenon, which the desire of self expression is noticeable and the diversity of gender identity is widely accepted, simply makes a difference in the lifestyle of one human being rather than the dichotomous classification of male and female. Now, the delicate and aesthetic sensitivity classified as the feminine characteristics is no longer the exclusive property of female and this refers to substituting it as a social gender from the concept of biological sex. This phenomenon has influenced on the male culture and is creating various codes according to the cultural gender extended from the gender as a social role. Also, the transition into the western lifestyle has extended the aesthetic emotion to accommodate new codes from the diversification and globalization of lifestyle. The mansumer power, which does not care too much about the money for the emotionally attached items, has enabled various fashion styles. After analyzing the diversified clothing behavior conducted by these people in connection with the social phenomenon, First, this shows the phenomenon of emotional value pursuit that finds pleasure over the clothing as the item of augmented reality is added to the concept of play, in which the real space referred to as garment and virtual space of playing the rock, paper and scissors game meet together within the augmented reality. Second, the convergence concept has enabled the coordination of new style by obscuring the area of design concept and this refers to the changes in design from the development of new items and transformation into double-style details. Third, the divergence that intensively provides specific use/convenience and specialized value shows a change in the fashion market from the phenomenon that admits various gene rations of culture and specifically, takes differently about the recognition of middle-aged males. Fourth, the variety seeking tendency receives attention as the value of future design together with the phenomenon of discriminative value pursuit. In the male fashion, it is linked to the collaboration with the design area and this tells that the fashion with the narcissistic cross-dressing and motto of neutral gender without being sided to male/female is rising.

Eclecticism, fusing and mixing heterogeneous and contrasting elements to create a new awareness of beauty, is based on diversity and pluralism, and as such fits well with the demand of the contemporaries who pursue individualization and diversification, which explains the current vogue for Eclecticism. As a precondition to grasp eclectic styles that are expressed in modern textile design, this study looks into the characteristics of eclecticism in modern art and applies the insight so gained to textile design in an attempt to understand transformations of modern textile design by considering the aesthetic effects and plastic characteristics suggested by the new trend. The result of our research indicates that the trends that characterize modern textile design can be divided into three categories as follows: 1) Mixing of high culture and low culture through cultural fusion, 2) Fusion of differing sensitivities through blending of times, 3) Blending of regional characteristics through geographical mixing. Characteristics of textile designs as influenced by these trends can be summarized as: 1) a conversion in the way textile designs are viewed, 2) increasing emphasis on the playfulness of representation and 3) multi-cultural expressions. In short, eclecticism of textile design represents a phase of modern society that is increasingly oriented toward multifacetedness and points to a direction for a new possibility of future textile designs, necessitating a continuous research along this line.

This study analyzed the characteristics and expression techniques of men's fashion bags and their aesthetic and formative values in modern men's fashion from the perspective of neo-deconstructivism. The study subjects were men's fashion bags appearing in four collections in Paris, Milan, London, and New York in the 2019 S/S-2021 S/S season. As a research method, the characteristics and expression techniques of the new disintegration of men's fashion bags were analyzed and categorized through prior research and literature research. The results of the study are as follows: First, the neoclassical characteristics of men's fashion bags caused 'Re-creation' to appear as the dissolution of the design principle and structure of the bag, and it was derived as 'decomposition of form' and 'decomposition of dress method'. Second, the 'Inclusive Diversity' of modern men's fashion bags of neo-deconstructivism appears in the form of gender demarcation and dissonance coordination. Third, 'Playfulness' in men's fashion bags involves the pursuit of fun through unconventional changes in the shape, size, and design of the bag, and it sometimes provides a fresh, new play experience through unpredictable design elements. Fourth, the 'Pursuit of new values' in male's fashion bags was a characteristic wherein the boundary between DIY attire and daily clothes and high fashion by the individual selection of consumers was blurred. This work is meaningful in that it conducted a basic study of men's fashion bags by examining the modern men's fashion bag from the perspective of the philosophical trend of neo-deconstructivism and categorizing its characteristics.

This study aimed to explore sustainable fashion design plans and directions by analyzing Marine Serre's collection. Previous research was reviewed to derive classifications of the aesthetic characteristics of sustainable fashion design. This classification was then used to analyze the characteristics of the Marine Serre collection. Design analysis was conducted on Marine Serre's 2018 FW to 2023 SS collections. Marine Serre's sustainability characteristics are functionality, surprise, handicraft, and inclusion. The results are as follows. First, functionality is the highest among the four characteristics and includes the functionality of movement, the functionality of form, and futurism. This characteristic was observed in the use of all-in-one body suits, pockets, and workwear, showing the will and values of designers who value daily activity. Second, surprise includes the scarcity of materials and the unexpectedness of composition. The value of the clothing is enhanced by the use of scarce materials not typically used in clothing. In addition, Marine Serre is highly regarded for expanding clothing into life by incorporating material upcycling into the theme of the collection. Third, handcrafted features include exaggerated decorations, logo, retro designs, and natural properties, and intentional utilization is differentiated. Marine Serre's signature pattern suggests a suitable expression for the fabric to use the crescent moon for the season. Fourth, the collection expresses themes of inclusivity and cultural diversity. The results indicate that Marine Serre wants to contribute to a better future characterized by global coexistence.

Teak (Tectona grandis) is one of the most valuable timber yielding species in the world, with predominant distribution in tropical or sub-tropical countries. However, natural teak available only in few countries like India, Myanmar, Laos People's Democratic Republic and Thailand. Teak grows well in deep, well-drained alluvial soils, fairly moist, warm, tropical climate with pH ranges from 6.5-7.5. Teak is cultivated in many Asian, African and South American countries for timber production. The global teak plantations are estimated to be three million hectare with major share in India (44%) followed by Indonesia (33%). India is considered as richest genetic resources of teak with large areas of natural teak bearing forests (8.9 million ha), plantations (1.5 million ha), clonal seed orchards (1000 ha) and seed production areas (5000 ha). The studies on diversity of teak populations showed that teak is an out crossing species with major portion of diversity present within the populations. The productivity and quality of teak timber varies depending upon the site and environmental conditions. Teak wood is moderately heavy, strong and tough,straight grained, coarse textured and ring porous with specific gravity varies from 0.55 to 0.70. The sapwood is white to pale yellow in colour and clearly demarcated while heartwood is dark brown or dark golden yellow in colour. Teak is one of the most durable timbers in the world, practically, impervious to fungus and white ant attack and resistant to decay. Teak wood is used in ship and boat constructions, furnitures and aesthetic needs. Genetic improvement programmes have been undertaken in countries like Thailand, India, Malaysia and Indonesia. The programme includes provenance identification and testing, plus tree selection and clonal multiplication, establishment of seed orchards and controlled hybridization. Several aspects like phenology, reproductive biology, fruit characteristics, silvicultural practices for cultivation, pest and diseases problems, production of improved planting stock, harvesting and marketing, wood properties and future tree improvement strategy to enhance productivity have been discussed in this paper.

This study was surveyed from May to October, 2008 in order to classify type distribution and evaluate the function of inland wetland as a ecological axis in Chungnam province. Assessment was done by modified-RAM (Rapid Assessment Method). RAM is consisted of total 8 functions and divided into high, moderate, low. The conservation grade of RAM is divided into 4 grades; absolute conservation, conservation, improvement and restoration. Throughout survey on total 13 wetlands of Lacustrine, Palustrine wetland which are distributed in Chungnam province, their function was assessed. As result, the 2 wetlands were judged as absolute conservation grade by assessment of 8 functional contents, and 7 sites were improvement wetlands and 4 sites were conservation wetlands. The function of wetlands assessed as conservation grade showed high in water quality protection and improvement. Also, showed high in vegetation diversity, wildlife habitat and aesthetic recreation. Meanwhile, showed low in Water quality purification, Shoreline/Stream Bank Protection. Of wetlands evaluated as conservation grade, Jeong-juk Ji and Dun-ri reservoir were assessed as absolute conservative area. These wetlands are essential to be managed continuously as a area having high ecological value. Farther, these wetlands will be done as a axis of ecological network related to 'Kumbuk jeongmaek' ecosystem.

Since late 1960s, we have had the discourse about the way of succession of korean traditional architectural heritage. Through 60s and 70s, the formal mimesis and transformation was pretty much dominated in domestic design currents. After 80s, we could see a kind of different ways of design to deal with traditions in architectural practices. These methodology can be summarized as spatiality, abstraction and diversity. These discourses acted as bases for aesthetic and formal stream which might be needed to present the formal possibilities for various commercial needs. Especially, the interior design field utilized those ideas in order to show korean identity for the commercial needs such as korean restaurant, korean bar, or korean costume shop. Interior designers positively adapted the ideas from architectural discourse and created their own vocabulary after 90s. Before 90s, interior designers did very representational mimesis to express korean identity designing commercial facilities. However from mid 90s they could establish new tendencies in expressing korean traditional moods. These tendencies are a focus on spatial relationship, abstraction and materiality, utilization of traditional objects and lighting method.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the acceptance intention towards healthcare wearable device in Korea. Specifically, this study attempted to identify the relationships among the acceptance intention towards healthcare wearable device, technical characteristics and user's personal characteristic based on UTAUT(Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) model. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose of research, we conducted against consumers who use the wearable devices and we collected data from 219 wearable device users. The analyses were conducted using SPSS and AMOS19.0 which is powerful structural equation modeling (SEM) software. Findings The main findings are as followed; First, functional diversity, wearability, trend sensitivity and health perception are significantly related to performance expectancy, while visual aesthetic and enjoyment are not significantly related. Second, performance expectancy and effort expectancy are significantly related to acceptance intention towards healthcare wearable device. Third, effort expectancy is significantly related to performance expectancy.

This study analyzes a new aesthetic value of fashion design utilizing media art technology based on Marshall McLuhan's media theory, vitalize a creative fashion design by applying media art technology into traditional fashion design and discover the possibility of various formative expressions. The result of the analysis under the three criterion extracted through the examination of other art genre such as dance, music, architecture and painting are as follows. First, new concept clothing was designed in the way of combining science and technology with existing costume designs. Second, applying technology based media art images on clothes has been noticeably effected by changes to clothing surfaces. Third, fashion design using technology based media art stimulates the five senses and creates new communication structures. In conclusion, this study reveals that fashion design utilizing technology based media art, an innovative medium for future fashion development in digital society, has expanded the boundaries of fashion design beyond limits and contributed to diversity in creative fashion design.

Paying attention to the fact that Korean traditional ink and color paintings are different in their use of colors this paper was intended to demonstrate outcomes from the difference in their painting style through specific paintings and thereby categorizing a broad range of oriental paintings into 4 types(Indian ink light color, middle color, deep color, present color) in accordance with the method of using colors, suggest directions that oriental color paintings should move toward in the future in the diversity of modem Paintings. Due to the characteristics of materials, oriental ink paintings, in style, are light in color within lines, which in return makes colors confined to a complimentary role in an overall picture, not having their unique color identity Nevertheless, there are some paintings that use dark colors, which is called moderate saturation. For such dark-color based paintings, colors play a key role, together with the characteristics of materials of color painting, as colors are used to express the most part of a picture. This study, thus, discusses the difference in the use of color depending on style on one hand, and examined the diversity of modem color paintings through specific works on the other hand, since a number of color paintings similar to western Painting in style have been created today. In such diversity, works that are being currently created should contribute to taking over the tradition and further develop oriental colors with modem aesthetic sensitivity.
