The matching probability P(ο/$\lambda$), of the signal sequence(ο) observed for a finite time interval with a HMM (Hidden Markov Model $\lambda$) indicates the probability that signal comes from the given model. By utilizing the fact that the probability represents matching score of the observed signal with the model we can recognize an unknown signal pattern by comparing the magnitudes of the matching probabilities with respect to the known models. Because the algorithm however uses floating point variables during the computing process hardware implementation of the algorithm requires floating point units. This paper proposes an integer algorithm which uses positive integer numbers rather than float point ones to compute the matching probability so that we can economically realize the algorithm into hardware. The algorithm makes the model parameters integer numbers by multiplying positive constants and prevents from divergence of data through the normalization of variables at each step. The final equation of matching probability is composed of constant terms and a variable term which contains logarithm operations. A scheme to make the log conversion table smaller is also presented. To analyze the qualitive characteristics of the proposed algorithm we attatch simulation result performed on two groups of 10 hypothetic models respectively and inspect the statistical properties with repect to the model order the magnitude of scaling constants and the effect of the observation length.
A new poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) membrane electrode that is highly selective to $Mn^{+2}$ ions was prepared using N,N'-bis(2'-pyridinecarboxamide)-1,2-ethane ($bpenH_2$) as a suitable neutral carrier. This concentration range ($1.0{\times}10^{-5}$ to $1.0{\times}10^{-1}\;M$) with Nernstian slope of $29.3{\pm}0.5\;mV$ per decade. The detection limit and the response time of electrode were $8.0{\times}10^{-6}\;M$ and (${\leq}15\;s$) respectively. The membrane can be used for more than two months without observing any divergence. The electrodes exhibited excellent selectivity for $Mn^{+2}$ ion over other mono-, di- and trivalent cations. Selectivity coefficients were determined by the matched potential method (MPM). The electrode can be used in the pH range from 4.0 - 9.0. The isothermal coefficient of this electrode amounted to 0.00023 V/$^{\circ}C$. The stability constant (log $K_s$) of the $Mn^{+2}$ - $bpenH_2$ complex was determined at $25^{\circ}C$ by potentiometric titration in mixed aqueous solution. The proposed electrode was applied to the determination of $Mn^{+2}$ ions in real samples.
A PVC membrane electrode for lead ion based on 1-phenyl-2-(2-quinolyl)-1,2-dioxo-2-(4-bromo) phenylhydrazone (PQDBP) as ionophore was demonstrated. The optimum composition of the membrane was 30 wt% poly(vinyl chloride), 60 wt% dibutyl phthalate as a plasticizer, 4 wt% ionophore and 6 wt% sodium tetraphenylborate as additive. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian response (28.7 mV decade$^{-1}$) for Pb$^{2+}$ over a wide concentration range (1.0 ${\times}$ 10$^{-1}$ to 1 ${\times}$ 10$^{-6}$ M) with a detection limit of 6.0 ${\times}$ 10$^{-7}$ M. This sensor has a short response time and can be used for at least 2 months without any divergence in potentials. The proposed electrode could be used in a pH range of 3.0-6.0 and revealed good selectivities for Pb$^{+2}$ over a wide variety of other metal ions. It was successfully applied as an indicator electrode for the potentiometric titration of lead ion with potassium chromate and for the direct determination of lead in mine.

A new PVC membrane potentiometric sensor that is highly selective to Hg2+ ions was prepared, using bis(2-hydroxybenzophenone) butane-2,3-dihydrazone (HBBD) as an excellent hexadendates neutral carrier. The sensor works satisfactorily in the concentration range of 1.0 × 10-6 to 1.0 × 10-1 mol L-1 (detection limit 4 × 10-7 mol L-1) with a Nernstian slope of 29.7 mV per decade. This electrode showed a fast response time (~8 s) and was used for at least 12 weeks without any divergence. The sensor exhibits good Hg2+ selectivity for a broad range of common alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal ions (lithium, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, copper, nickel, cobalt, zinc, cadmium, lead and lanthanum). The electrode response is pH independent in the range of 1.5-4.0. Furthermore, the developed sensor was successfully used as an indicator electrode in the potentiometric titration of mercury ions with potassium iodide and the direct determination of mercury in some binary and ternary mixtures.

A PVC-based membrane electrode for thallium(I) ions based on 1,21,23,25-tetramethyl-2,20: 3,19-dimetheno-[H, 2] H, 23H, 25H-bis-[1,3] dioxocino[5,4-i:5',4'-i] benzo [1,2-d: 5.4-d'] bis [1,3] benzodioxocin(II) has been prepared. The electrode displays a linear dynamic range of $1.0{\times}10^{-1}-1.0{\times}10^{-5}$ M, with a Nernstian slope of $59.8{\pm}0.2\;mV\;{decad^-1}$, and a detection limit $5.0{\times}10^{-6}$ M. It has a very fast response time of<10 s and can be used for at least ten weeks without a considerable divergence in potentials. This electrode revealed comparatively good selectivity with respect to alkali, alkaline earth, and some transition and heavy metal ions and was effective in a pH range of 2.0-10.0. It was used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of thallium ion with sulfide ion.
Induction generator is the most common generator in wind energy systems because of its simplicity, ruggedness, little maintenance, price and etc. But the main drawbacks in induction generator is its need of reactive power means to build up the terminal voltage. This drawback is not an obstacle today where PWM inverters can accurately supplies the induction generator with its need from reactive power. For a insurance of three-phase induction generator requires capacitive reactance of the terminal. Most of previous work uses numerical iterative method to determine this minimum capacitor. But the numerical iteration takes long time and divergence may be occurs. In this paper is presented the design methods of the minimum self-excited capacitor required for induction generator operation. And a new formula from the equivalent circuit for stable generation operation of self-excited induction generator calculates the proper capacity to obtain the terminal voltage of the load stage. The validity of proposed design methods is confirmed by experimental and computed results.
A seismic survey for gas hydrate have performed over the East sea by the KIGAM since 1997. General indicator of gas hydrate in seismic data is commonly inferred from the BSR(Bottom Simulating Reflector) that occurred parallel to the sea floor, amplitude decrease at the top of the BSR, amplitude blanking at the bottom of the BSR, decrease of the interval velocity and the reflection phase reversal at the BSR. In this paper we had analyzed optimum parameters of the field data to detect the 9as hydrate. Shot delay correction is applied 95ms, spherical divergence correction is applied velocity library 3, bandpass filter is applied 25-30-115-120Hz deconvolution operator length is applied 60ms, lag is 6ms and accurate velocity analysis NMO correction, stack is performed. Geobit 2.11.0 developed by the KIGAM was used for all data processing. Processing results say that the BSR occurred parallel to the sea floor were shown at 3,150m/s of two way travel time from the sea floor through shot point 5,000-5,610, and identified the interval velocity decrease around BSR and the reflection phase reversal corresponding to the reflection at the sea floor.
Food allergy refers to an immunologically mediated adverse reaction to food, mainly to proteinaceous constituents. Health implications vary between those individuals who experience mild physical discomforts to those with fast-acting, life-threatening anaphylactic reactions. The prevalence of food allergy is higher in children than in adults, estimated around 4-8% and 1-2% respectively in developed countries. Food allergy has no effective cure at the present time and total avoidance of causative foods is the most reliable prophylactic method currently recommended by the medical community. To help food allergic patients to make informed choices of their foods, mandatory labeling of selected food allergens has been introduced in several countries. All food allergen labelling provisions specify a set of allergens common to the regulated countries. Policy divergence, however, exists between countries by inclusion of additional allergens unique to specific countries and enforcement of specific labelling requirements. Such variations in food allergen labelling regulations make it difficult to manage allergen labeling in imported pre-packaged food products. This paper addresses two current issues in food allergen regulation: 1) an urgent need to determine true prevalence of food allergy in the Asia-Pacific region. This will enable refinement to the food allergen regulation to be more country-specific rather than simply adopting CODEX recommendations. 2) There is an urgent need for harmonization of food allergen regulation in order to prevent food allergen regulation becoming a trade barrier.
The neutron beam is fully characterized for the prompt gamma activation analysis facility at Hanaro in the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute(KAERI). The facility uses thermal neutrons which are diffracted vertically from a horizontal beam port by a set of pyrolytic graphite(PG) crystals positioned at the Bragg angle of 45" Neutron spectra, neutron flux and Cd-ratio are determined for the three extraction modes of diffracted beam by means of the theoretical and experimental efforts. To obtain theoretical result, the reflectivity of pyrolytic graphite is calculated in the diffraction model for mosaic crystal and the angular divergence after diffraction by mosaic crystal is estimated from Monte Carlo simulation. The time-of-flight spectrometer and gold activation wire are used for measuring the neutron spectra. Both the calculated and measured spectra have proven that the unique feature of polychromatic beam obtained by PG crystals are useful for PGAA. The thermal neutron flux of 7.9$\times$107 n/cm$^2$s and the Cd-ratio of 266 for gold have been achieved at the sample position while the reactor operates at 24 MW The uniformity of beam flux is 12% in the central 1$\times$1 cm$^2$ area. Finally, the beam is briefly characterized by the effective velocity and temperature which are determined by measuring the prompt Y-ray spectra for thin and thick boron samples.ples.

A CubeSat platform has become a popular choice due to inexpensive commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components and low launch cost. However, it requires more power-efficient and higher-data rate downlink capability for space applications related to remote sensing. In addition, the platform is limited by the size, weight and power (SWaP) constraints as well as the regulatory issue of licensing the radio frequency (RF) spectrum. The requirements and limitations have put optical communications on promising alternatives to RF communications for a CubeSat platform, owing to the power efficiency and high data rate as well as the license free spectrum. In this study, we analyzed the performance of optical downlink communications compatible with CubeSat platforms in terms of data rate, bit error rate (BER) and outage probability. Mathematical models of BER and outage probability were derived based on not only the log-normal model of atmospheric turbulence but also a transmitter with a finite extinction ratio. Given the fixed slot width, the optimal guard time and modulation orders were chosen to achieve the target data rate. And the two performance metrics, BER and outage data rate, were analyzed and discussed with respect to beam divergence angle, scintillation index and zenith angle.
