Another approach (multi-parameter measurement method) of interlaboratory studies of test methods is presented. When the unrestricted normal likelihood for the fixed latent variable model is unbounded, we propose a me쇙 of restricting the parameter space by formulating realistic alternative hypothesis under which the likelihood is bounded. A simulation study verified the claim of conservatism of level of significance based on assumptions about central chi-square distributed test statistics and on Bonferroni approximations. We showed a randomization approach that furnished empirical significance levels would be better than a Bonferroni adjustment.

This paper considers model robust accelerated life test plans for estimating the logmean or percentile of product lige which is exponentially distributed. A linear relationship between the log mean life and the stress is assumed as usual, while the true relationship is quadratic. Optimum plans are then obtained by minimizing asymptotic mean squared error of maximum likelihood estimator of the log mean life.

Petrov(1996) examined the connection between general moment conditions and the applicability of the strong law lf large numbers to a sequence of pairwise independnt and identically distributed random variables. In this note wee generalize Theorem 1 of Petrov(1996) and also show that still holds under assumption of pairwise negative quadrant dependence(NQD).

이동 에이전트 시스템은 분산응용을 위한 가장 일반적인 소프트웨어 패러다임이라 할 수 있으며 이동성을 기반으로 작업을 수행하므로 플랫폼 독립적인 언어와, 이동성을 제어, 관리하는 환경을 기본으로 요구하고 있다. Java 언어의 폭넓은 사용과 더불어 Java 이동 에이전트 또한 그 응용의 폭을 넓혀가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 분산응용에 효율적으로 대처할 수 있는 Java 이동 에이전트 플랫폼, Boomerang이 설계 구현된다. 그리고, 구현된 Boomerang을 기반으로 한 불법파일 검색, 파일 공유 등의 분산 응용이 설계, 구현된다.

Microlasers grown on a chip without any distributed Brags reflectors to provide the feedback are potentially useful for integrated optics, particularly if the laser emission in the plane is unidirectional and this direction can be switched. Microfilters performing as add/drop devices and bandpass units are now considered the most needed optical element for the DWDM field. The talk will concentrate on our research effort in GaN microlasers with non-circular shapes and in dielectric microfilters with oval and square shapes. (omitted)

The CC-NUMA based, distributed shared memory is an emerging architecture for multiprocessor computer systems because of its scalability and easy of programming. In this paper, we analyzed performance of a ring-based, CC-NUMA multiprocessor computer system using a commercial workload targeted for popular OLTP applications. Based on the traces collected from real machines, the characteristics of the commercial workload could be obtained. The simulation results showed that the bottleneck on the ring could be effectively removed by using a dual ring structure. We believe our simulation methodology and results will help us to design better multiprocessor computer systems for commercial application domains.

This paper presents the control design of a three-module boost converter with a two-stage output filter. An advanced three-loop control scheme is employed to the control design in order to obtain good dynamic performance of the converter at the presence of the secondary filter stage. The paper presents the control design, dynamic analysis and performance improvement with the three-loop control.

An Order Management System related to press die fabrication in automobile industry are developed in this research. This system is constructed by CORBA and XML to avoid disorder from data integration. Because CORBA can integrate diverse applications within distributed heterogeneous environments and XML can be made use of data exchange format, The developed system is available on almost any hardware platforms, operation system environments, and programming languages.

Distributed Control Systems(DCS) arc used in a wide range of process applications such as power plants. This paper presents calculated network capacity of a DCS that developed for nuclear power plant. The network hierarchies are 3 layed of information network, control network and field network. The assumed total node number of maximum DCS network is 64. Worst case network utilization of the DCS is simulated and analyzed.
