수력 발전기의 운전중 부분방전 측정기법에 대한 신뢰성 평가 (Evaluation of On-Line Partial Discharge Measurement Techniques on Hydro-Generator)

  • In hydro-generator, a groundwall insulation of stator windings gradually deteriorates due to mechanical, thermal, electrical and environmental stresses. These stresses combine to result in loose windings, delamination of the stator insulation and/or electrical tracking of the end winding, all of which can lead to stator insulation failures. Conventionally, off-line tests such as partial discharge measurement, DC/AC current test and ${\Delta}tan{\delta}$ test has been used for estimation of winding condition. However, off-line test requires large power supply and generator outage. In addition, major cause of insulation problems such as loose wedges and slot discharges may not be found with off-line diagnoses. This paper describes the on-line partial discharge measurement techniques in the generator stator windings. The experimental results from the UIAM #1 hydro-generator confirms a optimistic application of on-line generator diagnosis method as a reliable tool for evaluation of winding condition.

중소하천유역에 있어서 유효강우량 및 설계수문곡선의 결정에 관한 연구 - 특히 SCS 방법을 중심으로 - (Determination of Effective Rainfall and Design Hydrograph in Small River Catchment)

  • 본 연구는 중소하천유역에 있어서 미국토양보존전국(U.S. Soil conservation Service)의 SCS 방법과 $\Phi$-Index 방법과를 비교하면서 유효우량을 산정하고 또한 설계수문곡선의 첨두유량을 산정하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 낙동강 유역에 속한 신천유역은 UNESCO의 주관아래 국제수문 개발계획 대표시험유역으로 채택되었던 유역으로서 그 중요성이 크다고 생각하여 SCS 방법의 적용을 위하여 균양군의 분류에 따른 토지이용 및 처리 상태와 토양의 분류, 토양의 종류 등을 파악하여 유출수를 구하였다. 그리고 주요호우의 총우량일유효우량관계 자료에 의한 평균유출수와 비교해 본 결과 SCS 방법의 유출수가 적게 나타났으며, 신천유역의 5개 측소의 강우자료로부터 $\Phi$-Index 법에 의한 유효우량과도 비교하였다. 한편 설계수문곡선의 첨두유량은 SCS법, Chow법, Mockus법과 비교해 본 결과, SCS법의 무차원수문곡선과 Chow법이 실측에 의한 단위도의 첨두유량과 가까운 적합성을 보여주었다.

하천수 취수량 분석을 위한 전력량법의 적용성 연구 (A study on the applicability of power usage method for the analysis of river water intake)

  • 하천수의 체계적이고 통합적인 관리를 위한 필수 전제로, 하천으로 공급되고, 하천에서 방류되는 유량 등의 기초자료 확보가 필요하다. 현행되는 하천수 사용 허가제도에 의하면 2017년 허가시설 중 59.1%는 유량 계측기기가 없는 것으로 확인되었고, 특히 농업용수의 경우, 보고량의 상당부분이 사용자의 자발적인 보고로 이루어져 신뢰성 있는 자료의 확보가 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 양수장의 전력사용량을 통해 유량을 산정하는 간접 유량 계측방법을 적용하여 경제적이고 신뢰성 있는 유량자료의 확보에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 특히, 전력량법에 의해 산정된 유량이 하천의 수위에 따라 실측 유량과 차이가 나는 점에 집중하여, 하천수위를 반영한 전력량법의 개선 및 유량자료의 정확도 향상에 대한 적용성 연구를 수행하였다. 하천수위를 고려한 전력량법으로 산정된 유량을 회귀분석, 백분율 차이, 평균 제곱근 오차 등의 상관성 분석 방법 등을 이용하여 분석한 결과, 기존의 전력량법과 비교하여 보다 더 실측 유량에 근사한 결과를 산정하는 것으로 확인하였다. 이를 통해, 양수장에서는 기존의 전력량법으로도 신뢰성 있는 유량 자료를 확보할 수 있지만, 하천의 수위 변동폭이 큰 지점에서 개선된 전력량법을 사용한다면, 보다 정확한 하천수 취수량 자료를 확보할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

A Study of the Characteristics of a Partial Discharge of SF6 Following a Fault

  • When faults occur in the power equipment that is used a great deal in industrial sites, it may lead to fatal accidents that cause losses both economically and in manpower. In this paper, the effect of particle impact on the partial discharge of $SF_6$ gas was measured by simulating a partial discharge following the type of fault found in the GIS using $SF_6$ insulating gas as the insulating material. A spectrum analysis was performed on the radiate electromagnetic waves emitted upon partial discharge by using the UHF insulation diagnosis method. This subject of this study is insulation diagnosis by the measurement of radiate electromagnetic waves when particles exist in the GIS and power equipment insulated with $SF_6$ gas.

저밀도폴리에틸렌의 표면처리와 화학발광특성 (The Chemiluminescence Characteristics of the Surface Treated Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE))

  • Low density polyethylene is widely used as an insulating material In electric power cables. It is most important to know the beginning of its aging by partial discharge and UV-ray. That Is reason which we investigate chemiluminescence of the LDPE treated by partial discharge, UV-ray and corona discharge. We find that it takes one hour on spectra of IR but 0.17 minutes on chemiluminescence in the variation of chemical by partial discharge. Also we knew that Lithium carbonate-added(1phr) LDPE offered obvious suppressing effect on aging by partial discharge through the chemiluminescence. Therefore, the chemiluminescence is a highly sensitive and effective measurement method to appreciate characteristics of the treated surface and the oxidation reaction.

  • This paper describes the study on the basic characteristics of discharge generated in cable splices using ultrasonic measurement method. Two kinds of defect which might be existed in a real cable splice were simulated. One is surface discharge moisture and metallic alien substances and the other is partial discharge by metallic particle. As a result, there were some differences in the characteristics of ultrasonic signals according to each defect. Therefore, it was found that is could be possible to protect the failure in cable splices in advance by analyzing the ultrasonic signals coming from the cable splice due to partial discharge.

  • 낙동강의 화원-교령교-현풍 수위관측소 구간에 대하여 수리학적 하도추적을 통하여 조도계수를 추정하였다. 세 관측소의 연속 수위자료와 하천 종횡단 측량자료만이 이에 사용되었다. 하도추적에 의해 계산된 유량자료로부터 수위-유량 관계식을 작성하였으며 이는 기존의 수위-유량 관계식보다 나은 결과를 보였다. 수위측정 오차가 유량계산에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하였으며, 측방유입류를 억제할 수 있도록 하도길이를 제한하는 방법도 제시하였다.

INVESTIGATION OF "STEPPED" DISCHARGE CURVES IN SINTERED TYPE NICKEL-CADMIUM CELL

  • Formation of the nickel-cadmium alloy in the negative electrode of nickel-cadmium cell subjected to continuous charging at elevated temperatures ($40~45^{\circ}C$) is shown to be one of the causes of the 'stepped' discharge curves. The alloy has been characterized by electrode potential measurement and X-ray diffraction method. The potential lowering during discharge is related to discharge of the alloy. X -ray diffraction suggests that the nickel-cadmium alloy can be formed during charge in negative electrode by interaction of the two metals. Addition of Ni $(OH)_2$ into $Cd{\;}(OH)_2$ active material is found to form the alloy more readily than sintered negative electrode alone.ode alone.

  • To detect partial discharge of 154kV joint box, we have made experiment by using the HFCT sensor. Generally the signals which are detected in partial discharge test of underground power transmission cable are accompanied with both noises of high voltage and noises of surrounding power cable. The most noise in near to end part of joint box is corona, beside other noises flowed from surrounding area. Partial discharge test is difficulty due to these noises. First, we test reliability on both injection of calibration signal in NJB and removal of low frequency. After that, we had analyzed frequencies by measuring signals in IJB with 300[m] distance from NJB. Also we had measured S/N ratio by using the indirected injection method of calibration signal in IJB. In this experiment, two measurement methods were difference of detection acquisition, but these had the equal frequency properties.
