  • Housing Performance Grade Indication System is one of the advanced system which operate globally in three countries. Housing Performance Grade Indication System of the Japan and Korea has points of similarity and distinction according to special situations of own condition and government. The purpose of a study is how characteristics have points of view about background, composition and an outline of the system, indication standard and method, the situation of issue, making progress direction and what is the clear differences. Also, it is to obtain hints for making progress direction of domestic Housing Performance Grade Indication System. The method of study is in parallel with literature survey, also collection through visiting to researcher, operation company, evaluation institution, housing company of the Japan. and to use data as a result of international workshop on November 2008. Because domestic research team is studying about making system and evaluation, revision, this study will make use this data.

An Improved Algorithm of Fault Indicator Generation of FRTU in Distribution Automation System (배전자동화시스템에서 전류방향성을 이용한 단말장치의 고장표시 오류 개선 방법)

  • In this paper, an improved method of fault indicator generation algorithm in FRTUs is proposed for the present Distribution Automation System. In order to find fault area, correct FI information should be generated. But when a single line-to-ground fault occurs, FI information is generated in downside of the fault in some circumstance because existing FI algorithm considers only magnitude. It is found that the upside fault current direction if different from the downside fault current direction. Therefore, in order to prevent to generate the wrong fault indication information for FRTU at the downside of the fault, an improved fault indication generation method is developed. Not only the basic conditions are taken into account, but also the directions from the angle difference between zero and positive sequence currents are considered to generated the fault indication information. In case study, the proposed method has been testified and shown the reasonability in generating correct the fault indication information, for many kinds of faults according to conditions.

  • It is required that an evaluation method that can present the performance after remodeling to residents objectively as the increase in demand for remodeling. New construction is able to evaluate through housing performance grading indication system. However, there are some parts that are difficult to apply as assessment criteria of new construction in remodeling. The purpose of this study is to establish the assessment criteria direction for each item in remodeling performance evaluation. In conclusion, we set up institutionalized items for remodeling performance evaluation, and propose to assessment criteria direction based on the characteristics of remodeling on extracted items.

  • In this paper, an filtering method of FI(Fault Indication) information generated by FRTU(Feeder Remote Terminal Unit)s is proposed for the present DAS(Distribution Automation System). In order to find fault area, correct FI information should be generated. But when a single line-to-ground fault occurs, FI information is generated in downside of the fault in some circumstance because existing FI algorithm considers only magnitude. These wrong FI information can be removed by changing existing algorithm. An improved algorithm considers both the direction of zero-sequence current and the phase of three-phase current&voltage. But many FRTUs are distributed in DAS and Changing the algorithm all of FRTU will spend a lot of time and cost. On the other hand, an filtering algorithm proposed in this paper can substitute for it. The filtering algorithm also considers both the direction of zero-sequence current and the phase of three-phase current&voltage. In case study, the proposed method has been shown the reasonability in filtering the fault indication information.

  • Nowadays kimchi is exported to 80 countries and can be easily found overseas, but the name "Korean Kimchi" has not been protected internationally. Korean kimchi need to be registered as a geographical indication and receive international protection in order to establish its status as the country of origin. With the revision of the Kimchi Industry Promotion Act in 2020, geographical indications were introduced for kimchi and a legal basis was in place to enable the geographical indication as "Korean Kimchi" or "Republic of Korea Kimchi." Although there are issues remaining between the current system and producers' associations, we should prioritize the geographical indication as a means of protecting the country's agricultural products. In addition, efforts should be made to improve the quality and product value of Korean kimchi so that it is also recognized as a global brand.

  • Most of life thing including human being have tendency of reaction with inherently their own pattern against environmental change caused by such as light, sound, smell etc. Especially, a sense of direction often works as a very important factor in such reaction. Actually, human or animal lift that can react instantly to a stimulus determine their action with a sense of direction to a stimulant. In this paper, we try to propose how to give a sense of direction to a robot using sound being representative stimulant, and tracking sensors being able to detect the direction of such sound source. We also try to propose how to determine the relative directions among devices or robots using the digital compass and the RSSI on wireless network.

  • This paper proposes an improved fault indication algorithm in a distribution automation system. A conventional fault indication method, so called YES-NO algorithm, could generate wrong informations under certain conditions such as line to ground fault, large motor double circuit line. In order to prevent mal-operation of fault indicator, direction of fault current are used as well as magnitude. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm has been testified by computer simulation using Matlab power system toolbox.

  • A defect on the product safety display is defined by a failure to prevent the damage caused by the inappropriate explanation, direction, and caution to warn the users of the related risks. In other words, it lacks the sufficient instructions or caution for proper use and is unable to furnish the possible danger of the product and the instructions to deal with it. The defect is the responsibility of the manufacturers who are supposed to provide the adequate information so as to prevent injuries of the users. However, in order to prove the product safety display defective, there should be a comprehensive consideration in many different ways such as social norms (such as property and expectation of the product), usage form, indication of the expected risk, and awareness of consumer about the harm and possibility of avoidance of danger. The purpose of this research is to propose the content and types of standardized indication of safety in the industrial product by collecting and analyzing domestic safety information.
