Sound Watermarking Technique based on Blackfin Processor (블랙핀 프로세서 기반의 사운드 워터마킹 기법)

  • The digital watermark is one of important techniques to solve copyright authentication problems of digital media. Researches on the digital watermark are rapidly increasing in various media. The watermark system can resist some attacks such as signal attack, geometric attack and protocol attach. However, so far the robustness of the watermark needs to be improved. This paper suggests a watermarking technique with which a watermark is embedded on a coefficient of wavelet-based frequency band and extracted from it for protection of property rights and authentication of Blackfin processor-based digital sound. By carrying out hardware implementation of the suggested sound watermarking, the commercialization of protection of property rights and robustness of watermarks resulted from development of high-level programs can be confirmed.

  • The digital domain has witnessed unprecedented growth, reshaping the way we interact, work, and even perceive reality. The internet has evolved into a vast ecosystem of interconnected virtual worlds, giving birth to the concept of the Metaverse. The Metaverse, often envisioned as a collective virtual shared space, is created by the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and interactive digital spaces. Within this Metaverse space, the concept of ownership, identity, and authenticity takes on new dimensions, necessitating innovative solutions to safeguard individual rights. The digital transformation through Metaverse has also brought forth challenges, especially in copyright protection. As the lines between the virtual and physical blur, the traditional notions of ownership and rights are being tested. The Metaverse, with its multitude of user-generated content, poses unique challenges. The primary objective of this research is multifaceted. Firstly, there's a pressing need to understand the strategies employed by non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces within the Metaverse to strengthen security and prevent copyright violations. As these platforms become centers for digital transactions, ensuring the authenticity and security of each trade becomes paramount. Secondly, the study aims to delve deep into the foundational technologies underpinning NFTs, from the workings of blockchain to the mechanics of smart contracts, to understand how they collectively ensure copyright protection. Thus, in this paper, we propose a quantum based NFT solution that can secure Metaverse and copyright contents in an advanced manner.

  • As a result of growth of digital music market in Korea, Creator's rights and interests have been at the heart of the debate in terms of legal system. In the music industry, digital music revenue has now overtaken records sales and compared to download service it is now clear that music streaming and subscription is mainstream model in the rise of the worldwide market of digital music. This trend is also indentical to the domestic and withholding regulations for music service and creator's rights and interests have become an ever growing issue. Ministry of Culture, Sports ad Tourism decided the revision of withholding regulations for the digital music service in 2013. The amendment is to change its policy of charging music service from the flat rate pricing to a usage-based system. This paper brought forward some disputable points such as fair division of profit, reasonable pricing for consumers etc. about the revision. Therefore, improvement of system and change in the perception of such copyrights are still required for both the encouragement of creator's activities and the high consumer satisfaction.

  • Recently, the studies of contents protection technique are getting popular in the field of internet DRM(Digital Right Management). But, authentication process of digital contents is different from each implementation. Also, protection technique for the contents rights intrusion adapts each other methodologies. We survey the modeling and system of DRM such as DOI, INDECS, MPEG-21, XrML, and OPIMA standard in this paper.

Enhancement of Internal Control by expanding Security Information Event Management System

  • Recently, internal information leaks is increasing rapidly by internal employees and authorized outsourcing personnel. In this paper, we propose a method to integrate internal control systems like system access control system and Digital Rights Managements and so on through expansion model of SIEM(Security Information Event Management system). this model performs a analysis step of security event link type and validation process. It develops unit scenarios to react illegal acts for personal information processing system and acts to bypass the internal security system through 5W1H view. It has a feature that derives systematic integration scenarios by integrating unit scenarios. we integrated internal control systems like access control system and Digital Rights Managements and so on through expansion model of Security Information Event Management system to defend leakage of internal information and customer information. We compared existing defense system with the case of the expansion model construction. It shows that expanding SIEM was more effectively.

  • According to the 2017 national survey of the disabled persons conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, rehabilitation centers for the disabled appeared to be the service agency that disabled women use the most. This means that rehabilitation centers for the disabled hold an important role in securing the maternity rights of disabled women. However, in the practice of welfare for the disabled, programs for securing maternity rights are inadequate, and the actual condition is not being surveyed. As a result, programs related to maternity rights based on the legal basis exist, but actual support services for resolving the difficulties related to maternity rights that disabled women experience are inadequate. Thus, the study suggests that rehabilitation centers for the disabled should pay a central role in establishing the maternity rights of disabled women and provide support services such as developing a manual on basic information about pregnancy, childbirth, and child rearing, offering childbirth-related counseling, activating a self-help group, providing an individualized program for families, connecting with medical institutions, and supporting case management.

  • Rights process problem was stated among actors that participated in digital contents distribution while it was various type of digital content service. In order to solve it, It was expressed conceptual and technical elements by reflecting a system. Among them, the interoperability of metadata became a important issue. As for the metadata for contents service, necessity about standardization is stated as a basic framework composing a service system. This paper proposed the metadata element which focus on the rights process that is being a key factor of a DRM(Digital Right Management) system for digital comics contents service. Therefore, it was verified by using Context Model of MPEG-21 RDD with interoperability between metadata elements which developed a XML format and the existing MPEG-21 RDD elements.   • With the advent of digital media environment, distribution way of information changes, legalization of the right to be forgotten is becoming increasingly necessary. However, too much emphasis on protection of personal information to hinder the development of the Internet industry and constitutional rights, including freedom of speech and right to know might be infringed. Thus, the scope of the right to be forgotten there is a need to clarify the rules. First, the rights of personal information can be divided into two. Right to be forgotten can be applied to the right to self-determination of personal information, but the right to self-determination information about social personality cannot be applied to. Second, in the digital media environment, old news article over the internet repeatedly distribution as the new damage is generating. Because old news article is a historical record, the right to be forgotten can not be applied. Thus, appropriate for digital media environment must find new ways.

  • Internet purchase is increasing according to the activation of Electronic Commerce. Currently, the hardware is main purchase items in the Electronic Commerce. The on-line purchase of digital product, that is electronic file type of product, has many merits such as, does not cost in logistics, is ease of searching the product, and is possible of 'Try and Buy' system. But, actually digital products have not been major product and Cause of its piracy problem. Therefore, the tchnology of digital rights management is focused within EC. The piracy problem of digital products comes from the lack of safety in DP license control technology. Current EC has no method to identify the object that has the right to use the digital product. The protecting of object change is impossible and the protection of hacking is not enough and EC has many problems in efficient license control because of the incompletion of EC structure. In this paper, we propose the design and implementation of on-line circulation system, which can activate on-line circulation of MP3 digital data product in EC, by using the new license control technology, that is Dynamic License Control technology.
