  • The aim of this paper is to show the difference between the notion of digital continuity and that of computer continuity. More precisely, for digital images $(X,\;k_0){\subset}Z^{n_0}$ and $(Y,\;k_1){\subset}Z^{n_1}$, $if(k_0,\;k_1)=(3^{n_0}-1,\;3^{n_1}-1)$, then the equivalence between digital continuity and computer continuity is proved. Meanwhile, if $(k_0,\;k_1){\neq}(3^{n_0}-1,\;3^{n_1}-1)$, then the difference between them is shown in terms of the uniform continuity property.

  • The objective of the study is 10 know the relation of landslide occurrence with using TPI (Topographic Position Index) in the Pyungchang County. Total 659 landslide scars were detected from aerial photographs. To analyze TPI, 100m SN (Small-Neighborhood) TPI map, 500m LN (Large-Neighborhood) TPI map, and slope map were generated from the DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data which are made from 1 : 5,000 digital topographic map. 10 classes clustered by regular condition after overlapping each TPI maps and slope map. Through this process, we could make landform classification map. Because it is only to classify landform, 7 classes were finally regrouped by the slope angle information of landslide occurrence detected from aerial photography analysis. The accuracy of reclassified map is about 46%.

  • In [8], Rosenfeld's digital ($k_0,\;k_1$)-continuity was introduced and another was also established in terms of the preservation of ${k_i}-connectedness,\;i\;{\in}\;\{0,\;1\}$ [2, 3]. In this paper a new version of digital ($k_0,\;k_1$)-continuity for images in $Z^n$ is referred, which is proved to be an extended version of the formers [2, 3, 8]. The current digital ($k_0,\;k_1$)-continuity is derived from the notion of n kinds of digital neighborhoods with some radius without any difficulties on the dimension and adjacency of an image in $Z^n$. The aim of this paper is to compare among Rosenfeld's digital continuity, the current digital continuity and Boxer's digital ($k_0,\;k_1$)-continuity.

  • Recently, the depletion of fossil fuel carbon dioxide emissions due to limitations in the internal combustion engine vehicles is rising concern about electric vehicle. Neighborhood Electric Vehicle(NEV) is maximum speed 60km/h and one day driving distances less than 80km. In this paper, Power Conversion Controller is proposed for Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. To verify the developed Power conversion Controller, Test performed integration test, max load, power density, efficiency. Confirmed that the vehicle can be applied.

  • The purpose of this study is to decide an appropriate neighborhood and a transition rule of cellular automata by analyzing the past growth process of urban areas in Gimhae. With cellular automata which can manage the change based on the dynamic model and time, this study analyzes the urban growth of Gimhae from 1987 to 2001. Also, through the simulation of different types for neighborhood and transition rules, we can find the appropriate neighborhood and the transition rule for Gimhae. In conclusion, the forecast of physical urban growth pattern is more accurate under conditions when the number of matrixes for the neighborhood is small, the shape of the neighborhood is rectangular, "${\alpha}$" value, which control the pace of urban growth, is low and the transition possibility ($P_{ij}$) is high.

  • The aim of this paper is to introduce a digital $({\kappa}_0,\;{\kappa}_1)$-covering map and a local $({\kappa}_0,\;{\kappa}_1)$-homeomorphism. And further, we show that a digital $({\kappa}_0,\;{\kappa}_1)$-covering map is a local $({\kappa}_0,\;{\kappa}_1)$-homeomorphism and the converse does not hold. Finally, some property of a digital covering map is investigated with relation to some restriction map. Furthermore, we raise an open problem with relation to the product covering map.

  • A digital $(k_0,\;k_1)$-homotopy is induced from digital $(k_0,\;k_1)$-continuity with the n kinds of $k_i$-adjacency relations in ${\mathbb{Z}}^n$, $i{\in}\{0,\;1\}$. The k-fundamental group, ${\pi}^k_1(X,\;x_0)$, is derived from the pointed digital k-homotopy, $k{\in}\{3^n-1(n{\geq}2),\;3^n-{\sum}^{r-2}_{k=0}C^n_k2^{n-k}-1(2{\leq}r{\leq}n-1(n{\geq}3)),\;2n(n{\geq}1)\}$. In this paper two kinds of digital 8-pseudotori stemmed from the minimal simple closed 4-curve and the minimal simple closed 8-curve with 8-contractibility or without 8-contractibility, e.g., $DT_8$ and $DT^{\prime}_8$, are introduced and their digital topological properties are studied by the calculation of the k-fundamental groups, $k{\in}\{8,\;32,\;64,\;80\}$.

  • The aim of this paper is to solve the open problem on product properties of digital covering maps raised from [5]. Namely, let us consider the digital images $X_1 {\subset}Z^{n_{0}}$ with $k_0-adjacency$, $Y_1{\subset}Z^{n_{1}}$ with $k_3-adjacency$, $X_2{\subset}Z^{n_{2}}$ with $k_2-adjacency$ and $Y_2{\subset}Z^{n_{3}}$ with $k_3-adjacency$. Then the reasonable $k_4-adjacency$ of the product image $X_1{\times}X_2$ is determined by the $k_0-$ and $k_2-adjacency$ and the suitable k_5-adjacency$ is assumed on $Y_1{\times}Y_2$ via the $k_1-$ and $k_3-adjacency$ [3] such that each of the projection maps is a digitally continuous map, e.g., $p_1\;:\;X_1{\times}X_2{\rightarrow}X_1$ is a digitally ($k_4,\;k_1$)-continuous map and so on. Let us assume $h_1\;:\;X_1{\rightarrow}Y_1$ to be a digital $(k_0, k_1)$-covering map and $h_2\;:\;X_2{\rightarrow}Y_2$ to be a digital $(k_2,\;k_3)$-covering map. Then we show that the product map $h_1{\times}h_2\;:\;X_1{\times}X_2{\rightarrow}Y_1{\times}Y_2$ need not be a digital $(k_4,k_5)$-covering map.
