We reported the method for the relatively simple equalizing pulse to reduce dynamic false contour. Equalizing pulse is determined by look-up-table and moving direction and velocity of the image. Used lookup-table is a few. If image moves to right or left, necessary LUT is only one for the velocity of 1 pixel/tvfield to right or left. This technique makes the process simple after obtaining motion information.
Single particle orbit in plasma is obtained by drift Hamiltonian formulation in magnetic coordinate. The collisional effect is implied by Monte Carlo Method and the velocity space diffusion, energy transfer to the back ground plasma and the variation of energy distribution of test particles are investigated from many particles analysis.
The reorientational motion of $C_6F_6$ in neat liquid is investigated in the temperature range 293∼333K by analyzing ${\nu}_2$ and ${\nu}_16$ bands of its Raman spectrum. Diffusion constants for the tumbling ($D_{\bo}$) and spinning ($D_{\parallel}$) motions are determined. The reorientation of the molecule seems to be distinctly anisotropic. Based on the hydrodynamic model, the tumbling motion of the figure axis of $C_6F_6$ is largely diffusional. On the other hand, the spinning motion of the same axis looks mostly inertial.
With the advancement of virtual reality technology, virtual reality contents and devices are being competitively released. This research deals with an early stage adoption model of a motion-sensing input device which enhances the user experience of these virtual reality contents and devices. In contrast to the previous research on the adoption or resistance of innovative products, this work compares and analyzes the antecedents in MIR(Model of Innovation Resistance) of resistance-perspective as well as those in UTAUT2(Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and IDT(Innovation Diffusion Theory) of adoption-perspective, and suggests a resistance-incorporated adoption model from a new viewpoint. The analysis of questionnaire data indicates the following results: Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, price value, hedonic motivation in UTAUT2 and visibility in IDT have a significant negative influence on innovation resistance. Compatibility in IDT and MIR exerts a positive influence on perceived value. Social influence and hedonic motivation in UTAUT2 positively relates to perceived value. Higher innovation resistance results in lower perceived value, with innovation resistance and perceived value negatively and positively affecting intention to use, respectively.

Convective smoke spread in a corridor is experimentally investigated using thermocouples and visualization technique with a laser beam sheet. The speed of smoke front under a ceiling is measured by a series of thermocouples. Visualization of the ceiling jet formation and of smoke filling process is carried out to observe the lowering of a smoke layer. From the results, a large-scale convective motion plays dominant roles for smoke spread in the vicinity of the end of the corridor from visualized photos along with temperature records. The large-scale convective motion of the smoke is generated from the impingement of the ceiling jet front on the end of the corridor, and thus turning the flows toward the floor. Such a circulating motion of fluid transports some smoke to some region where its momentum is effective. It is therefore shown that the conventional concept of lowering smoke in the two-layer zone model has some restrictions for the corridor because the lowering of smoke layer has been thought to be mass transport due to relatively small scale motions such as the decrease of buoyancy, mass diffusion and momentum exchanges.
In this paper, the non-linear mathematical problem is solved via numerical scheme by utilizing shooting method. Brownian diffusion and thermophoresis along mass and heat transfer are accounted for. Non-linear expression is reduced via non-dimensional variables. The simplified ordinary differential equations are tackled by shooting technique. Behavior of distinct influential parameters is investigated graphically and analyzed for temperature and concentration profile. Our finding indicates that temperature profile is enhanced for the thermophoresis, Brownian motion coefficient, Prandtl number, Eckert number and temperature slip parameter. Comparison of numerical technique with the extant literature is made and an acceptable agreement is attained. Graphs are plotted to examine the influence of these parameters.

In this research, mixing behavior of the floating pollutant such as oil spill accidents was analyzed by studying the advection-diffusion of GPS floaters at water surface. The LPT (Lagrangian Particle Tracking) model of EFDC (Environmental Fluid Dynamics Computer Code) was used to simulate the motion of the GPS floater tracer. In the field experiment, 35 GPS floaters were injected at the Samun Bridge of Nakdong River. GPS floaters traveled to downstream about 700 m for 90 minutes. The field data by the GPS floater experiments were compared with the simulation in order to calibrate the parameter of LPT model. The turbulent diffusion coefficient of LPT model was determined as $K_H/hu^*$ = 0.17 from the scatter diagram. The arrival time of peak concentration and transverse diffusion from the simulation results were similar with the experiments from the concentration curves. Numerical experiments for anticipation of damage from floating pollutant were conducted in the same reach of the Nakdong River and the results show that the pollutant cloud transported to the left bank where the Hwawon pumping station is located. For this reason, it is suggested that the proper action should be needed to maintain the safety of the water withdrawal at the Hwawon pumping station.
Diffusion tensor image(DTI) exploits the random diffusional motion of water molecules. This method is useful for the characterization of the architecture of tissues. In some tissues, such as muscle or cerebral white matter, cellular arrangement shows a strongly preferred direction of water diffusion, i.e., the diffusion is anisotropic. The degree of anisotropy is often represented using diffusion anisotropy indices (relative anisotropy(RA), fractional anisotropy(FA), volume ratio(VR)). In this study, FA images were obtained using different gradient schemes(N=6, 11, 23, 35. 47). Mean values and the standard deviations of FA were then measured at several anatomic locations for each scheme. The results showed that both mean values and the standard deviations of FA were decreased as the number of gradient directions were increased. Also, the standard error of ADC measurement decreased as the number of diffusion gradient directions increased. In conclusion, different gradient schemes showed a significantly different noise performance and the schem with more gradient directions clearly improved the quality of the FA images. But considering acquisition time of image and standard deviation of FA, 23 gradient directions is clinically optimal.

The effect of a wall temperature on the soot deposition process from a diffusion flame to a solid wall was investigated in a microgravity environment to attain in-situ observations of the process. The fuel for the flames was an ethylene ($C_2H_4$). The surrounding oxygen concentration was 35% with surrounding air temperatures of $T_a=600K$. In the study, three different wall temperatures. $T_w$=300, 600, 800K, were selected as major test conditions. Laser extinction was adopted to determine the soot volume fraction distribution between the flame and burner wall. The experimental results showed that the maximum soot volume fractions at $T_w$=300, 800 K were $8.8{\times}10^{-6},\;9.2{\times}10^{-6}$, respectively. However, amount of soot deposition on wall surface was decreased because of lower temperature gradient near the wall with increasing wall temperature. A numerical simulation was also performed to understand the motion of soot particles in the flame and the characteristics of the soot deposition to the wall. The results from the numerical simulation successfully predicted the differences in the motion of soot particles by different wall temperature near the burner surface and are in good agreement with observed soot behavior that is, the 'soot line', in microgravity.

A visualization study on the effect of forcing amplitude in tone-excited jet diffusion flames has been conducted. Visualization techniques are employed using optical schemes. which are a light scattering photography. Flame stability curve is attained according to Reynolds number and forcing amplitude at a fuel tube resonant frequency. Flame behavior is globally grouped into two from attached flame to blown-out flame according to forcing amplitude: one sticks the tradition flame behavior which has been observed in general jet diffusion flames and the other shows a variety of flame modes such as the flame of a feeble forcing amplitude where traditionally well-organized vortex motion evolves, a fat flame. an elongated flame. and an in-burning flame. Particular attention is focused on an elongation flame. which is associated with a turnabout phenomenon of vortex motion and on a reversal of the direction of vortex roll-up. It is found that the flame length with forcing amplitude is the direct outcome of the evolution process of the formed inner flow structure. Especially the negative part of the acoustic cycle under the influence of a strong negative pressure gradient causes the shapes of the fuel stem and fuel branch part and even the direction of vortex roll-up to dramatically change.
