Objectives: The basis research of aged people's healthcare technology is very important, because our nation goes into an aged society rapidly. Especially in traditional medicine, pulse shapes of aged people were supposed to weak and empty pulse until now, but any objective measurement and compare research do not taken. Methods and Results: Therefore in this study we design observation study to find characteristic of pulse between younger group (age $20{\sim}30$) and elder group (age $43{\sim}80$) in Busan area. We used 3-dimensional pulse analyzer '3-D MAC' (Daeyomedi Co., Ltd.). And major parameters for comparison are 1) pulse height (h1), 2) applied pressure, 3) pulse power (energy), 4) high pressure duration (w) and 5) R-AI. Conclusions: According to analysis result, elder people's pulse has more large value in pulse height, applied pressure and pulse power than younger's that. It reveals that elder people in modernized lifestyle has Yang symptoms as well Yin symptoms. Consequently we need new method to care elder people's health, and this means more important direction than old text book. From now on verification research with objective diagnosis device like 3-D MAC, must be activated to build of evidence in traditional medicine. Cause traditional medicine's spirit of care and prevention is suitable to care elder people's cardiac and cerebral vascular disease those are have close relation with elder people.

Although lots of works are done in influence diagnostics, results in the multivariate analysis are quite rare. One of recent works done by Fung(1995) is about the single case influence diagnostics in the linear discriminant analysis. In this paper we extend Fung's results to the multiple cases diagnostics which are necessary in the linear discriminant analysis for two reasons among others; First, the masking effect cannot be detected by single case diagnostics and secondly two populations are concerned in the discriminant analysis, i.e., influential cases can occur in one or both populations.

Recently, Cook and Weisberg(l989) presented dynamic graphics for regression diagnostics. They suggested animating graphics which could aid to understanding the effects of adding a variable to a model. In this paper, using the Cook and Weisberg's idea of animation, we propose a dynamic graphical method for residuals to display the effects of removing an observation from a model. Based on the information obtained from these animating graphics, it is possible to see the influence of outliers on influencial observations for regression diagnostics.

Data-driven method for fault diagnostics system often use machine learning technique. To use such technique proper signal processing should be implemented such as time synchronous averaging (TSA) for ball bearing systems. However, for journal bearing diagnostics systems not much has been researched, and yet a proper signal processing method has not been studied. Therefore, in this research an optimal datum unit for a reliable journal bearing diagnostics system along with angular resampling process is being suggested. Before extracting time and frequency domain features, angular resampling is applied to each cycle of vibration data. As to preserve the characteristics of vibration signal, averaging method is replaced by finding the optimal datum unit which strengthens statistical characteristics of vibration signal. Then 20 features were extracted for various cases, and those features are being evaluated by two criteria, separability and classification accuracy.

This report studies the history of diagnostic development of Myeong Dynasty(明代). This period is the success of Keum-Won Dynasty(金元代) when the special development of medicin was taken, and is the origin of the developement of medicine of Cheong Dynasty(淸代). The conclusion is like this. The palpitation was developed to be papular, to illustrate and to be simple. The development of seeing diagnostics of Myeong Dynasty was characterized the entrance of special book of seeing diagnostics, the study of finger print of child and the development of seeing tongue diagnostics. In Myeong Dynasty, discrimination of smell(辨氣) theory was developed with the development of fever school. The development of discrimination of symptoms of Myeong Dynasty was finished in every realms, specially in discrimination of symptoms of fever.

Object : Pulse feeling(脈診) belongs to pulse feeling or palpation(切診) of methods of diagnosis in oriental medical terminology. Pulse appears at bio-energy condition of body, so it is a important part of disease diagnosis but we have been trouble in diagnosis by difficulty of pulse feeling(脈診). Methods : We investigate the books about pulse feeling, which are involved "Hwangjenaegyong", "Nangyong", "Maggyeng" etc. Conclusion : According to these, this paper helps you understand pulse feeling(脈診) through comparision and studying pulse condition at clasics with electro pulse machine.

A common treatment for tinnitus rehabilitation is to use a device called a sound generator to continuously supplying the sound stimuli. The devices usually provides a sound called white noise, or pink noise, which are common in nature. In this paper, we developed a mobile system for tinnitus diagnostics and therapy using Android mobile applications. The first step for tinnitus diagnostics is detecting an exact tinnitus frequency of the patients, therefore we provide a bark scale tinnitus detection algorithm for fast and accurate diagnostics. Also, the system can provide various stimuli sounds including white noise, pink noise, brown noise, nature sounds, and binaural beats. Also we provides the therapeutic functions through questionnaires to solve existing problems of the patients.

Objectives In this study, we tried to analyze the expression status and diagnostic application of the disease according to the characteristics of Six Qi. Methods Suwenxuanjiyuanbingshi (Exploration to Mysterious Pathogenesis and Etiology Based on the Plain Questions, 1152), Shoushibaoyuan (Longevity and Life Preservation, 1615), Dongeuibogam (Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine, 1613) and two modern works on Six Qi were analyzed for this study. Results Some substrate characteristics presenting Six Qi were extracted from original literatures. Also, we found that the characteristics of Six Qi can be applied to clinical trials by presenting them as three criteria as wind, humidity, and temperature. Conclusions This study suggests.
