로터 공력해석을 위한 수치기법 개발 (Development of a numerical method for rotor aerodynamics applications)

  • 로터 공기역학 모사를 위한 수치해석 기법이 제안되었다. 국부적인 유동특성변수를 4차 정확도 내삽의 MUSCL 접근방법을 유한체적 공식에 적용시킴으로써 로터 블레이드로 부터 멀리 떨어져 성긴 격자영역에서의 비 물리적인 수치 확산을 개선시켰다. 또한, 유동특성변수에 따라 각각 다른 제한자를 적용함으로써 수치적인 소산작용을 억제하고 수치적 안정성을 높였다. 대표적인 로터 공기역학 응용문제에 적용한 결과 후류포획성능이 크게 개선됨을 확인하였으나 공력소음계산 결과는 전통적인 MUSCL 기법에 비교하여 큰 개선점은 없었다.

칸딘스키 추상회화의 조형적 특성을 응용한 의상 디자인 개발 (Development of Fashion Design Based on the Formative Characteristics of Wassily Kandinsky's Abstraction Paintings)

  • This paper analyses Wassily Kandinsky's abstract paintings. this paper aims to discuss phases of Kandinsky's works as well as their formative characteristic theory. Practically, with formative characteristics in Kandinsky's paintings such as point, line, plane, form and color, this paper presents four sets of costumes. Among which, geometric patterns are intensively collaged as the formative characteristic of "point" calls for; crossed necklines and waistlines are applied as the characteristic of "lines" represents; plane and solid patterns are adopted as the main parts and ornaments as both the characteristic of "plane" and that of "form" claim; three primary colors - red, blue and yellow - are introduced as the characteristic of "color" depicts. Artificial leathers are used as the main fabric, patchwork and draping as so in technology. Therefore, with the theoretical and practical efforts, this paper aims to seek the interdisciplinary possibilities between paintings and fashion arts, and in order to develop several fashion designs representing modern aesthetics with their unique characteristics.

미계측 유역의 유출량 산정을 위한 합성단위도 개발 (Development of Synthetic Unit Hydrograph for Estimation of Runoff in Ungauged Watershed)

  • The synthetic unit hydrograph is developed and verified using Nash model and characteristic velocities considering geomorphological dispersion in this present study. Application watersheds are selected 5 subwatersheds of Bocheong basin. The mean and variance of hillslope and stream path length are estimated in each watershed with GIS. Characteristic velocities are calculated using estimated path lengths and moment characteristics of rainfall-runoff data. Characteristic velocities of random devised 7 ungauged watersheds are estimated through regional analysis of chracteristic velocities in guaged watershed. And Nash model parameters and IUH are derived using characteristic velocities and path length in the gauged and ungauged watershed. The result to compare of IUH about gauged watershed and random devised ungauged watershed in application watershed presents coherently hydrologic response characteristics that peak discharge is reduced and peak time is extended. In conclusion, Developed synthetic unit hydrograph in this study expects that it is useful method to estimate runoff discharge for managing of water pollution in ungauged watershed.

  • Product development is consisting by trend that accommodate almost function digital cam in camera phone that can speak of Mobile appliance, and competition about number of elemental area of image sensor is consisting for market prior occupation between these. Propose in this research and small size camera phone self-focusing adjustment actuator that do city manufacture is similar with general storehouse pickup actuator drive way, but selected in cylindrical to reduce space that lens holder occupies because there is restriction loading of lens and space enemy. Target number of research established that execute drive displacement more than $600{\mu}m$ in 2.75V that is house voltage that is used in Mobile device that is general. Also, described about maximum transfer displacement characteristic, displacement response characteristic, hysteresis, response characteristic, smallest transfer step characteristic, actuator's drive characteristic that is manufactured to examination item of maximum consumption electric power by special quality estimation system that apply laser displacement sensor that produce itself to evaluate city manufactured actuator's special quality.

탄소섬유 복합재료를 적용한 ANG 연료용기의 최적 형상설계 (Optimal Shape Design of ANG Fuel Vessel Applied to Composite Carbon Fiber)

  • The development of adsorbed natural gas (ANG) has emerged as one of potential solutions. It is desirable to reduce the weight of vessel by applying light-weighed a composite carbon fiber in order to response to a egulation of $CO_2$ emission. Through understanding of a composite carbon fiber, and material characteristic of a composite carbon fiber is required in order for better application of a reduction of weight and an analysis of material characteristic. Herein, this study suggest the composite carbon fiber vessel applied to the characteristic of carbon fiber, and it decides the preliminary shape based on the test of material characteristic for ANG vessel applied to a composite carbon fiber, and its basic shape calculate through on the netting theory. Moreover, the detail shape design is analyzed by a finite element analysis, and in the stage of detail sahp design and analysis of stress was performed on the typical shape using a finite element analysis, and the result of preliminary design was verified.

  • Large area flicker is one of the most annoying image defects, and it is an inherent characteristic of impulsively driven displays such as CRTs. Recently, LCDs have also adopted impulsive driving methods for improved motion picture quality, therefore LCDs can also show large area flicker. Existing metrics do not account for the non-linearity of human brightness perception. This paper presents an improved large area flicker metric to more accurately quantify large area display flicker performance.

  • In this paper, a display color characteristic simulation algorithm is proposed for nonstandard display units under development. In this algorithm, signal transformation matrix is calculated from the transfer characteristic of a nonstandard display unit to reproduce the same color of the one on a standard CRT display. Proposed algorithm can be used for the simulation of various color reproduction characteristics and the performance improvement of the nonstandard display.

Moreover, we introduce a system of objectives which will be appropriate for math in the situation of Korea and illustrate our approach via '96 High School Achievment Test held by Korea National Board of Educational Evaluation.

Development of Software for Coarse Classifying

  • In general, the coarse classifying procedure splits the values of a continuous characteristic into bands and the values of a discrete characteristic into groups of values. Coarse classifying improves the robustness of the credit scoring system but it is complicate and troublesome procedure. Thus, in this paper, we develop a software for coarse classifying by using Visual Basic Language. By using the developed software, we can find the best split easily. Also, this software will help learners to study credit scoring.

  • This paper describes the nonlinear analysis and effectual operation methods of thermal power plant turbine control system. When the turbine control governor system has dead-zone characteristic, the effectual frequency development control is difficult, because turbine output does not correspond to frequency deviation in dead-zone. Therefore to obtain effectual correspondance, the turbine dead-zone characteristic must be analyzed by proper method. This paper proposes this nonlinear analysis and effectual plant operating load.
