후카사와 나오토 Without Thought 디자인 이념의 원칙 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study on Deriving the Principle of Naoto Fukasawa's Without Thought Design Theory)

  • 현재 디자인 연구 분야에서는 후카사와 나오토가 제시한 "Without Thought" 디자인에 대한 체계적인 연구가 부족한 실정이며 어포던스(Affordance)의 개념과 혼동되어 사용하는 경우도 많이 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 후카사와 나오토의 Without Thought 디자인 이념 및 이와 관련 있는 무의식 이론을 바탕으로 Without Thought의 개념을 정의하고자 한다. Without Thought는 사용자와 물건 간의 무의식적인 인터렉션을 완성시키며 사용자에게 "적절하다"는 느낌을 받도록 하는 디자인 이념이라고 할 수 있다. 또한, 후카사와 나오토의 저서, 논문, 연설, 작품 및 관련 문헌을 고찰하고 분석하여 "행위의 연속성, 의미의 명확성, 인지의 공통성, 생활상황을 위한 디자인, 자연적인 수요를 위한 디자인" 5개의 Without Thought 디자인 원칙을 도출하였다. 본 논문은 Without Thought의 개념을 체계적으로 정의하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다. 또한, Without Thought 개념을 활용하는 디자인 프로세스 개발의 기초 연구 자료가 될 것으로도 기대가 된다.

  • 4차 산업혁명시대에 진입하면서 디자인은 초연결사회의 다매체간의 융합으로 진행되고 있다. 특히 전통문화와 브랜드의 디자인 이념과의 융합은 디자인 영역에서 큰 화제로 다뤄지고 있다. 이러한 지점에서 중국의 선사상과 디자인이 융합된 무인양품의 디자인은 매우 주목할 만하다. 중국의 선(禅)사상은 노자와 장자의 사상을 흡수하여, "무상(無相)의 모습, 무주(無住)의 근본, 무념(無念)의 종지"를 목적으로 삼아 유가철학과 도가철학, 그리고 미학이 공존하는 독특한 사상 체계를 형성하였다. 그렇다면 전통문화로서 선사상은 무인양품의 디자인 속에서 어떤 모습으로 나타고 있는가? 본 연구는 이러한 문제의식에서 출발해 중국 선사상이 반영된 무인양품의 디자인 특징을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 중국의 선사상을 지닌 무인양품의 디자인 특징은 미니멀리즘 조형, 단일적 색채, 생태적 소재, 인간성 체험의 네 가지로 귀결됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In the present age dominate by both cer-taingty of 1% and uncertainty of 99% 'Fuzzy thinking' of Bart Kosko that is the way to solve the problems by the scientific way through a worldview of Buddhism or Taoism greatly prevails around the world over 'Lateral greatly prevails around the world over 'Lateral thinking' and the authenticity or the right and-wrong of the uncertainty which is the thinking way to find the answer of the problems of illogical way of Edward de Beno against the western vertical thinking were Concurrently fashion designers over the world also adopt the oriental elements. But there exist differences of thoughts between the orient and the occident. And they have dif-ferent thinking way of aestheticism and references of the value on the beauty. Not only beauty but the view through the mind as intuitional thought in which not only the rec-ognition of sense but also the rationalism and the naturalness play key role. The aesthetic sense in the orient contains both the truth and virtue. 2) The beauty of the mean It's from the thought of neutralization of Confucius. The mean or moderation state which in harmony with ethical virtue and aes-thetic beauty is the ideal and is the ultimate. Therefore the thought of Confucian is the creativity in which the balance and the har-mony is most important. Fashion design is also one of the representation of the mean because the spirit of the designer is harmonized for-mlessly with the object of the model of the fashion design. 2) The beauty of skillfulness It indicates the Taoism of Lao-tzu and Chuangtzu. It takes a super-artistic declar-ation that human can feel and recognize the color of colorlessness the sound of sound-lessness and the taste of tastelessness. The thought of arts affected by Taoism is 'ad-vanced age' called the beauty of skillfulness. The view of arts of lao-tzu takes the beauty of cosmos and the nature as a standard. Es-pecially the beauty of inactivity is recognized by the linkage between the beauty and the ugliness. And these things appear in fashion design as a design element such as humor or exaggeration. 3) The beauty of non-dualism It is thought of Buddhism that all evil passions of worry occur form the opposition in dualism. Finally this thought leads to that everything is consistent and truth is only one from the point of view that virtue and vice has on linkage that is 'no virtues no vices' and 'one with two, two, with one, one is not two' A big tendency like this became the root forma-tion of the thought of the oriental arts. 3. Characteristics of the oriental aesthetic sense on the present fashion design 1) The formation of the fashion design on the oriental elements In the picture-incantation which was a representation of an era when the thought of 'cosmic dual forces' dominated the basic polygons of 'a circle square triangle' means both 'one two three' and 'the negative positive mean' of cosmic elements. From this point of view the was of planner cutting in the Orient is dif-ferent from that of the Occidental which is in three-dimensional. The planner polygon type of the cut-pieces comes to have the meaning of the three-dimension when they consist of a suit that has the combination of each cut-piece. This shows the consistency with the principle of cosmos creation of Taoism that one is two two is three and three is every-thing. 2) The coloring and the symbolic represen-tation of the fashion design on the orien-tal elements The sense on the colors in the Orient from the thought of 'the cosmic dual forces and the five elements' is not the experi-enced from the knowledge but contains the consideration of philosophy Five-primary-color representing compass directions Blue(East) Red(South) Yellow(Center) White (West) and Black (North) is called ' the posi-tive' for this five-primary-color secondary-color which comes from the compound of the primary colors is called 'the negative' The thought of 'the cosmic dual forces and the five elements' is also an theory containing the natural order of the cos-mos and this shows the perceptional differ-ence that they are not conceptual but to be recognized and fell directly. A thought of Buddhism which is 'Colors are colorlessness and Clolorlessness are color's proves that. 3) The pattern and symbolic representation of the fashion design on the oriental elements The pattern as a visual style is a figure of symbolic representation which adopt the mental and physical world of human and are the compo-sition of artistic revelation of the human nature and the religous thought of incantation. Es-pecially the symbolic representation of the oriental thought of Confusion. Buddhism and Taoism There are patterns such as plants aminals the oriental four gods and geometry. From the above it's the time toward the 21'th century when the world is constructing one global area and one historical zone. And the exotic mood of the Orient represented in the fashion which doesn't make the common feeling in general does not cease to develop only to express the visual modeling but also adopts the thought religion and the art which are the root of the Orientail and contains inherent willing of modeling.

아돌프 로스의 건축사상에 기초한 라움플란의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Raumplan based on the Architectural Thought of Adolf Loos)

  • Adolf Loos showed important directionality in the thought of modem culture and architecture. The thought about the architecture of Adolf Loos was gathered by "Raumplan". It is the solution of the plan in space. But the concept and method of the "Raumplan" had not been synthesized until near the end of Loos's life. Loos's first reference to the "Raumplan" appears in 1929. I think that "Raumplan" became the solution of the plan in space with a formation process of the thought about the architecture and culture of Adolf Loos. Therefore, the purpose of this paper derived a characteristic of "Raumplan" from the relations between the architectural thought of Adolf Loos and "Raumplan". The processes of the study are as follows. (1)Consideration about the growth background of Adolf Loos and the social situation of Vienna. (2)Analysis about architecture and the cultural critic of Adolf Loos. (3)Analysis of "Raumplan" based on architectural thought of Adolf Loos. As a result, I got the four characteristics of "Raumplan" as follows. (1) Separation and continuation of "Raum". (2) Fragment of "Raum". (3) Overlay and transmission by the axis of multiplex eyes. (4) Structural adjustment of the "Raum" by Hierarchy. Finally, I understood the architecture which Adolf Loos pursued in "Raumplan" had a high function and contained the clear meaning and contents which had practical use and economic value, and it were not a results of the simple logic.

  • The purpose of this study on university Art Center Design based on the Deleuze Gattari's 'devenir' thought. So, this paper studies the concept of Deleuze Gattari's 'devenir' thought. Expressing the potential constantly is to actualize he 'Devenir Architecture', and planing by using the digital design method of utilizing the digital media. Above all things, raising the virtual through the digital method, it creates devenir space that it try to make sustainable moving space. This trial can be one actual example as form generation in digital architecture, it is significant to be presented the one way to design architecture.

  • 2000년 이상 우리의 언어생활에서 강조 또는 의미의 전달을 위하여 사용되며, 묘사를 위한 언어로 간주되는 은유는 언어활동 뿐 만 아니라 인간의 사고활동 특별히 창조적 사고활동에 있어서 매우 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 창조성이 강조되는 디자인사고도 인간의 사유 활동의 하나로 보는 관점에서 은유는 창조적 디자인사고에 있어서 중요한 역할을 함에도 불구하고 이에 대한 연구가 미진하다. 본 연구에서는 작품 분석을 통한 은유적 방법에 대한 고찰의 일환으로 Aldo Rossi의 San Cataldo 공동묘지를 분석하여 여기서 보이는 은유를 언어학 이론, 인공지능이론, 컴퓨터공학의 지식표현이론, 인지학의 이론등을 토대로 하여 논리적 과학적으로 분석고찰하고 또한 작품에서 나타나는 창조성에 대하여 은유이론으로 설명한다.

  • Architect Daniel Libeskind made peculiar works with ‘Jewish Museum’ in Berlin as a momentum in 1989. The concern was concentrated after Libeskind was selected ultimately to the designer of ‘Design for the World Trade Center site’ in February 2003. Especially his works which have been recently accomplished are not the deconstructivism were recognized as unreal drawings and simple studies but they are professing his own peculiar architectural thought. However meanwhile researches about Libeskind have been processed in an architect viewpoint of a deconstructivism tendency, lack of researches to be more various point of view. This study fundamentally is sharing the source with Libeskind's basic idea, as a deconstructivism architect, but not to understand essential concept of decorstructivism which has the philosophy grasps of essence of an object, reconstrues contradiction that the human is simple to prescribe by the language and tries to express in new architectural formative volition. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to grasp of Libeskind's own architectural thought of the essence, consider background becomes the foundation of the architectural thought and peculiarity of the architectural representation.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the relationship between Durand's architectural theory which provided reasonable architectural logic in the early 19th century, and architectural logic of the Modern Movement of Architecture led by avant-garde architects in the 1920's. The system of thought in architecture proposed by Durand which clarified a architectural design method(composition) is very similar to the one of the International Style(Book), which summarizes commonalities in the flow of modern architecture. This approach has something in common from the perspective of the systems of thought, despite differences in external forms and time gaps. Therefore, this study intends to examine the systems of thought in three ways. It is to examine how the two systems of thought define architecture, what is the logic of building production, and finally the value of architecture (including aesthetic values) while eliminating classical aesthetics.

유아의 창의적 사고 프로그램의 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of a Child Creative Thought Program)

  • This research was carried out to develop a program that would promote children's creative thought processes and also to ascertain the effect on their development. The creative thought program consists of three stages : at the first stage, information for the development of the program was gathered and the theoretical basic model established. Considering Divergent and Feeling Factors, the program was planned based on the William's educational curriculum as it was applied and tested in an actual life situation. At the second stage, in order to formulate an activity plan for the creative thought program, William's activity plan was analyzed. At the third stage, the activities which would be applied to the creative thought program in the actual situation were considered with teaching strategy, activity arena and creative thought factors. In conclusion, according to these research results, children's creative thought programs should not just promote Divergent Factors or limited areas of activities, but other activities which include Feeling Factors should be planned and more diverse creative thought programs developed. To design an education program that encourages efficient creative thought, various teaching strategies in creative thought education need to be developed. Teacher training for current teachers should be conducted and parents who have the most direct influence of their children - be made aware of the creative thought process in children. It needs to be stated that this research on creative thought programs is not a complete program: it needs to be further adjusted and supplemented. As development of the tools to evaluate Feeling Factors objectively and the application on the program due to insufficient time, a more continuous application of the program and further research and evaluation of its effects are required.
