This paper describes the conversion system which translates wordprocessor file into ODIF(Open Document Interchange Format) data stream for document interchange between heterogeneous systems and applications. We design the translator according to ODA of international base standard, FOD26 of international funtional standard, and a BosukGul V file for source document file. This system is implemented using the Microsoft Windows and the ODAC(ODA Consortium) toolkit in the PC environment.

This study is an attempt to furnish some helpful data for the design and implementation of the electronic document delivery system based on the analysis of it's cases. To begin with, the concepts and basic models of electronic document delivery system(Fig. 1) were overviewed in the second chapter, on the basis of which the concrete cases were introduced in the third chapter ; ADONIS Project, ARTEMIS Project, HERMES Project, APOLLO Project, UNIVERSE Project, DOCDEL Project, and etc. In the future rapidly developed the technology of electronic communication, there are many possibilities of the evolution of electronic document delivery system.

In the decision-making domain, a document warehouse is designed to meet the analysis needs of users who may have a wide variety of analysis purposes. In this paper, we propose to integrate the preferences and interactions of users based on profiles to the concept of document warehouses. These profiles guarantee the integration of personalized documents and the collaborative recommendation of documents between different users sharing common interests.

Represent of mathematical formula used within system handling document that is nonstructural in existent document editing system that is used in electron document processing that use computer is represented or processed by method that is nonstructural of image or text or etc. Such mathematical formular causes relative inconvenience to readablility and reusability of document and processing and exchange of document. Therefore, document editing system is required that can overcome such nonadvantage and apply MathML mathematical formula structure on efficiently structural document. Therefore, designed and implemented that document editing system for structural document creation of XML base that can mathematical formular editing of MathML base in this paper.

A methodology for XML documentation of the structural calculation document is presented to support manipulation of the design information on the internet. The text file format is chosen as a neutral format because it can be easily translated from office documents generated from engineering practice. The first word of each line is compared with the reserved numbering groups, and relative levels among the lines are defined to generate the hierarchically structured XML document of the text file. The demonstration subjected to sample general documents and structural calculation documents shows that the prototype application module based on the developed methodology can be adopted to build the database of design information which supports the safety management of infrastructures.

The exchange of model design data among heterogeneous CAD systems is very difficult because each CAD system has different data structures suitable for its own functions. STEP represents product information in a common computer-interpretable form that is required to remain complete and consistent when the product information is needed to be exchanged among different computer systems. However, STEP has complex architecture to represent point, line, curve and vectors of element. Moreover it can't represent geometry data of feature based models. In this study, a structure of XML document that represents geometry data of feature based models as neutral format has been developed. To use the developed XML document, a converter also has been developed to exchange modules so that it can exchange feature based data models among heterogeneous CAD systems. Developed XML document and Converter have been applied to commercial CAD systems.

This study shows the design and implementation of cataloging expert system using pattern recognition techniques. This system attemps to demonstrate the feasibility of cataloging in KORMARC format from title page and copyright page without the intervention of humans. The prototype was implemented as a rule-based system in Turbo C. To demonstrate the function and capability of the system, experimental document-group and control document-group was analyzed. The hit ratio of experimental document-group is 94%. On the other hand, the hit ratio of control document-group is 93%, a little bit lower than the experimental group.

Knowledge management system building knowledge acquisition, knowledge share, and knowledge maintenance for the member of corporation is expanded throughout whole industry to cope with rapid business environment. Electronic document basing knowledge management system can copy, print, and transfer knowledge to another party, so it is being regarded as a essential infrastructure to share knowledge. However, considering most of information leakage is sprung up by insider of organization, it is considered to provide countermeasure to protect illegal use from information leakage. The purpose of this paper is to establish digital information security system through design of document and manage digital information assets safely through electronic document security system protecting illegal leakage of digital information assets.

Due to the recent advances of IT industry, many companies and institutions have been used electronic documents rather than original paper copies. However, the characteristic of electronic document allows it to be readily damaged from proscribed copying, counterfeit, and falsification. These can cause the serious security problems for electronic documents. Conventional security methods for digital documents involve adding a separated image or marker, but these methods can reduce the readability of document. Therefore, we proposed a digital Jikin (Korean traditional stamp) which is normally used to identify the source or author of a document in asia. The proposed digital Jikin can preserve the readability of electronic document while protecting the document from proscribed copying, counterfeit, or falsification using image processing approach. In this paper, a digital Jikin application is designed and implemented under android platform and it converts the critical information of document onto the digital Jikin. The proposed digital Jikin contains important information in the boundary of Jikin not only about the author of documents or source, but also keywords, number of images, and many more. Therefore, the authenticity of document or whether the document has been altered or not by other person can be evaluated by the server. The proposed digital Jikin can be sent to a server through the wireless networks and can be stored using PHP and MySQL. We believe that the proposed method can offer the better and simple solution for strengthening the security of electronic document.

This study proposes a new paradigm hospital information system through the nursing classification system and design of the HL7 clinical document architecture (Health Level Seven CDA) for information-sharing among various healthcare institutions. Nursing information CDA are included coding systems of nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing activity and outcomes. And, we have developed CDA generator for active generation of XML document. This study aims to facilitate the optimum care by providing health information required for individuals to nursing specialists in real-time, to help improvements in health, to improve the quality of productive life. This study has the following significance. First, an expansion and redefining process conducted, founded on the HL7 clinical document architecture and reference information model, to apply international standards to Korean contexts. Second, we propose a next-generation web based hospital information system that is based on the clinical document architecture. In conclusion, the study of the clinical document architecture will include an electronic health record (EHR) and a clinical data repository (CDR), and also make possible healthcare information-sharing among various healthcare institutions.
