Design of IoT Gateway for Storing Sensor Data using Ardulink based MQTT (Ardulink 기반 MQTT를 이용한 센서 데이터 저장을위한 IoT 게이트웨이 설계)

  • The Internet of things (IoT) needs to be an event-driven approach for efficient real time response and processing. An IoT gateway is sometimes employed to provide the connection and translation between devices and the cloud. Storing data in the local database, and then forwarding it on the cloud is a task to be relegated to a gateway device In this paper, we propose the design of the IoT gateway with Fog computing for storing data from sensors into a local database. In the procedure of designing storing tasks, we propose to use the interfacing software known as Ardulink MQTT bridge. MQTT is a protocol for sensors to publish data to the clients. When it comes to needing historical data, MQTT connector can push MQTT data into SQL database. We write an MQTT client and based on the message topic insert the values into a SQL Database The design of IoT gateway with Fog computing adds value because it provides processing of the data across multiple devices before it sends to the cloud.

Fundamental Function Design of Real-Time Unmanned Monitoring System Applying YOLOv5s on NVIDIA TX2TM AI Edge Computing Platform

  • In this paper, for the purpose of designing an real-time unmanned monitoring system, the YOLOv5s (small) object detection model was applied on the NVIDIA TX2TM AI (Artificial Intelligence) edge computing platform in order to design the fundamental function of an unmanned monitoring system that can detect objects in real time. YOLOv5s was applied to the our real-time unmanned monitoring system based on the performance evaluation of object detection algorithms (for example, R-CNN, SSD, RetinaNet, and YOLOv5). In addition, the performance of the four YOLOv5 models (small, medium, large, and xlarge) was compared and evaluated. Furthermore, based on these results, the YOLOv5s model suitable for the design purpose of this paper was ported to the NVIDIA TX2TM AI edge computing system and it was confirmed that it operates normally. The real-time unmanned monitoring system designed as a result of the research can be applied to various application fields such as an security or monitoring system. Future research is to apply NMS (Non-Maximum Suppression) modification, model reconstruction, and parallel processing programming techniques using CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) for the improvement of object detection speed and performance.

  • Recently, an introduction of the cloud computing causes rapid changes in every aspect of the internet environments including hardware, operating systems, applications, and their services. As the cloud computing environment based on SaaS are being developed to a form in which web platform technology and web cloud services are converged. The digital library system also has been being developed to a service model optimized to SaaS based cloud computing environment, which are different from ASP technology. From the web interface point of view, user customization of the SaaS based cloud computing environment is the most important fact. Therefore, this research work suggests a customized web interface considering usability and accessibility so that enterprises and individual users can be able to do an effortless internet browsing under the cloud computing environment. For this purpose, usability tests were carried out as the user customized web interface design were developed and applied to the LinkSaaS website. This paper work lastly presents an UI environment on which customized interface design for individual users can be formulated.

Design Optimization of A Multi-Blade Centrifugal Fan With Variable Design Flow Rate (설계유량을 변수로 한 원심다익송풍기의 최적설계)

  • This paper presents the response surface optimization method using three-dimensional Navier-Stokes analysis to optimize the shape of a forward-curved blades centrifugal fan. For numerical analysis, Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with k-$\varepsilon$ turbulence model are discretized with finite volume approximations. In order to reduce huge computing time due to a large number of blades in forward-curved blades centrifugal fan, the flow inside of the fan is regarded as steady flow by introducing the impeller force models. Three geometric variables, i.e., location of cut off, radius of cut off, and width of impeller, and one operating variable, i.e., flow rate, were selected as design variables. As a main result of the optimization, the efficiency was successfully improved. And, optimum design flow rate was found by using flow rate as one of design variables. It was found that the optimization process provides reliable design of this kind of fans with reasonable computing time.

  • The number of web contents is enormous in the billions and rapidly growing, Most contents are state, but an increasing number are generated dynamically, Therefore, Internet-based client/server architecture of Contents Delivery Service System suffers from frequent disconnections and security threats casused by dependency of the server or overload. Idle computing resources in Internet are used for sloving these issues, In this paper, We implement and design the Content Delivery Service System for cyber education system using idle Computing Power in P2P computing to share computing resources, We implement not only internet infrastructure but also satellite infrastructure system. and designed to transfer real-time or non real-time contents.

Critical Factors Influencing Adoption of Cloud Computing for Government Organizations in Yemen

  • Purpose - Many countries nowadays look at cloud computing as an opportunity because it holds great advantages for governments. Public sector in Yemen still uses traditional computing. This study tends to explore the factors that would affect cloud computing adoption in government organizations in Yemen. Research design, data and methodology - We used a combination of DOI theory and TOE framework with some changes to suit the context of government organizations. Eight hypotheses were proposed with a questionnaire developed and sent to people in Yemen. 118 responses were collected to assess the hypotheses. Results - Results indicate that Yemen lacks some prerequisites of cloud technology in terms of technological readiness and regulations. The factors: relative advantage, compatibility, security concern, perception of benefits and government support were accepted. Perception of benefits, in particular, is found to affect the decision of adoption. Security concern also showed a direct and indirect influence on cloud adoption in the government. Respondents consider security a key issues of the technology. The factors: complexity, technology readiness and regulatory support were rejected. Conclusions - Based on all analysis results, this study proposed some steps toward adopting cloud computing in Yemen.

New PCR of DNA Computing (DNA 컴퓨팅의 새로운 PCR 연산)

  • In the Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP), a set of N cities is given and the problem is to find the shortest route connecting them all, with no city visited twice and return to the city at which it started. Since TSP is a well-known combinatorial optimization problem and belongs to the class of NP-complete problems, various techniques are required for finding optimum or near optimum solution to the TSP. Especially DNA computing, which uses real bio-molecules to perform computations supported by molecular biology, has been studied by many researchers to solve NP-complete problem using massive parallelism of DNA computing. Though very promising, DNA computing technology of today is inefficiency because the effective computing models and operations reflected the characteristics of bio-molecules have not been developed yet. In this paper, I design new Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) operations of DNA computing to solve TSP.

  • W These days, Ubiquitous is coming a more popular tool in mass communications and in advanced countries ubiquitous computing is commercialized. In Korea, we have studied the business models of the ubiquitous computing generation as well. Ubiquitous computing is the environment in which humans and computers coexist and properly work together. I would like to present a service infrastructure for a more efficient context-awareness than computing home networking system in this monograph. In the mean time, they have focused the context-awareness system on identifying users in the designated space and recognition. But I would like to focus on the middleware system structure for more efficient recognition.
