Recently, there have been cases in which counterfeit foreign ships have entered and left domestic ports several times. Vessels have a ship-specific serial number given by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to identify the vessel, and IMO marking is mandatory on all ships built since 2004. In the case of airports and ports, which are representative logistics platforms, a security system is essential, but it is difficult to establish a security system at a port and there are many blind spots, which can cause security problems due to insufficient security systems. In this paper, a port security system is designed using deep learning object recognition and OpenCV. The security system process extracts the IMO number of the ship after recognizing the object when entering the ship, determines whether it is the same ship through feature point matching for ships with entry records, and stores the ship image and IMO number in the entry/exit DB for the first arrival vessel. Through the system of this paper, port security can be strengthened by improving the efficiency and system of port logistics by increasing the efficiency of port management personnel and reducing incidental costs caused by unauthorized entry.

As the cloud computing market grows, a variety of cloud services are now reliably delivered. Administrative agencies and public institutions of South Korea are transferring all their information systems to cloud systems. It is essential to develop security solutions in advance in order to safely operate cloud services, as protecting cloud services from misuse and malicious access by insiders and outsiders over the Internet is challenging. In this paper, we propose a zero trust model for cloud storage services that store sensitive data. We then verify the effectiveness of the proposed model by operating a cloud storage service. Memory, web, and network forensics are also performed to track access and usage of cloud users depending on the adoption of the zero trust model. As a cloud storage service, we use Amazon S3(Simple Storage Service) and deploy zero trust techniques such as access control lists and key management systems. In order to consider the different types of access to S3, furthermore, we generate service requests inside and outside AWS(Amazon Web Services) and then analyze the results of the zero trust techniques depending on the location of the service request.
In liberal SW education, nurturing student with creative problem-solving ability based on SW is considered important. The purpose of this study is to design SW education and to investigate the effects on students' computational thinking and creative problem solving abilities. This study designed classes in accordance with convergent project and the CT-CPS model and 38 undergraduate students have participated this study. The questionnaire survey was given to students and analyzed the effectiveness of class. The results of this study were as follows: Fitst, SW education significantly improved computational thinking and creative problem solving ability. Second, computational thinking improve significantly in high and low initial score group and creative problem solving improve significantly in low initial score group. However, creative problem solving ability did not improve significantly in high initial score group. Third, computational thinking improve significantly in all majors and creative problem solving improve significantly in college of natural science. However, creative problem solving ability did not improve significantly in college of humanities and social science. In examining the effects on students' computational thinking and creative problem-solving abilities and verify differences by pre-test and major, this study provides significance in expanding the understanding about the nature liberal SW education.
Purpose - This paper empirically investigates the effect of a rise in the global value chain (GVC) on the industry-level efficiency of resource allocation (based on plant-level inefficiency measures) in Korea, with a focus on various channels through which a rise in the GVC can increase competition among firms and thus induce resources to be allocated more efficiently across firms. Design/methodology - We empirically investigate the relationship between the industry-specific importance of GVC and the industry-level allocative inefficiency that is measured as the dispersion of the plant-level marginal revenue of capital (MRK) as in Hsieh and Klenow's (2009) influential model. We compute MRK dispersion for industries sorted by various characteristics that are closely related to firm/industry sensitivity to the GVC. In other words, we compute the average industry-level MRK dispersion for industries sorted by industry-specific importance of GVC and compute the difference between the two groups of industries (higher vs. lower than the median GVC); we also calculate the difference between industries sorted by industry-specific export (import) intensity. This is our difference-in-difference estimate of the MRK dispersion associated with the GVC for the export (import)-intensive industry versus the non-export (non-import)-intensive industry. This difference-in-difference estimate of the MRK dispersion conditional vs. unconditional on firm-level productivity is then calculated further (triple-difference estimate). Findings - A rise in GVC is associated with a decrease in the MRK dispersion in the export-intensive industry compared to the non-export-intensive industry. The same is true for industries that rely heavily on imports versus those that do not (i.e., import intensive vs. non-intensive). Furthermore, the reduction in the MRK dispersion in the export-intensive industry associated with an increase in the GVC is disproportionately greater for high-productivity firms. In contrast, the negative relationship between GVC and MRK dispersion in the import-intensive industry is disproportionately smaller for high-productivity firms. Originality/value - Existing studies focus on the relationship between GVC and aggregate output, exports, and imports at the country level. We investigate detailed firm/industry-level mechanisms that determine the relationship between GVC, trade, and productivity. Using the plant-level data in South Korea, we investigate how GVC is related to the cross-firm MRK dispersion, an important measure of allocative inefficiency, based on Hsieh and Klenow's (2009) influential economic theory. This is the first study to provide plant-level evidence of how GVC affects MRK dispersion. Furthermore, we examine how the relationship between GVC and MRK-dispersion varies across export intensity, import intensity, and firm-level productivity, providing insight into how GVC can affect firms' exposure to competition in the global market differently depending on market conditions and thus generate trade-related productivity gains.

While the broadband network and multimedia technology are being developed, the commercial market of digital contents as well as using IPTV has been widely spreading. In this background, Time-Shift system is developed for requirement of multimedia. This system is independent of Time but is not independent of Place and Occasion. For solving these problems, in this paper, we propose the TPO(Time, Place, Occasion)-Shift system for mobile multimedia devices. The profile that can be applied to the mobile multimedia devices is much different from that of the setter-box. And general mobile multimedia devices could not have such large memories that is for multimedia data. So it is important to continuously store and manage those multimedia data in limited capacity with mobile device's profile. Therefore we compose the basket in a way using defined time unit and manage these baskets for effective buffer management. In addition. since the file name of basket is made up to include a basket's time information, we can make use of this time information as DTS(Decoding Time Stamp). When some multimedia content is converted to be available for portable multimedia devices, we are able to compose new formatted contents using such DTS information. Using basket based buffer systems, we can compose the contents by real time in mobile multimedia devices and save some memory. In order to see the system's real-time operation and performance, we implemented the proposed TPO-Shift system on the basis of mobile device, MS340. And setter-box are desisted by using directshow player under Windows Vista environment. As a result, we can find the usefulness and real-time operation of the proposed systems.
This study aims to investigate the online class preference depending on students' gender and school level. To achieve this aim, the study conducted a survey on 4,803 elementary, middle, and high school students in 17 regions nationwide. The valid data of 4,524 were then analyzed using the Apriori algorithm to discern the associated patterns of the online class preference corresponding to their gender and school level. As a result, a total of 16 rules, including 7 from elementary school students, 4 from middle school students, and 5 from high school students were derived. To be specific, elementary school male students preferred software-based classes whereas elementary female students preferred maker-based classes. In the case of middle school, both male and female students preferred virtual experience-based classes. On the other hand, high school students had a higher preference for subject-specific lecture-based classes. The study findings can serve as empirical evidence for explaining the needs of online classes perceived by K-12 students. In addition, this study can be used as basic research to present and suggest areas of improvement for diversifying online classes. Future studies can further conduct in-depth analysis on the development of various online class activities and models, the design of online class platforms, and the female students' career motivation in the field of science and technology.
Amid the unprecedented situation of COVID-19 around the world, online education has established itself as an essential element in the era of zero contact and the importance of various content and changes of the system that are appropriate for the era of the 4th industrial revolution has increased. Although universities are making their efforts to combine ICT technologies and design and achieve new systems, the recognition and atmosphere for establishing the cloud computing system are falling short. The purpose of this research importance of success factors of "Building a cloud computing system of cyber university in Korea" by classifying the work characteristics and scale, and to derive and analyze the importance cloud rankings considering the organization and individual dimension. Therefore, this study has drawn 14 major factors in the previous researches and models through the survey on experts with knowledge related to the cloud computing. The analysis was conducted to see what differences there are in factors for the successful establishment of the cloud computing system using AHP. It is expected that the factors for success presented through this study would be used as systemic strategies and tools for the purpose of drawing factors for the success of establishing the private cloud computing system for the higher education institutions and public information systems.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the current situation of EduTech, which is proposed as a way to build a flexible learning environment regardless of time and place according to the use of digital technology in mathematics subjects. The process of designing classes to use the EduTech platform, which is still in the development introduction stage, in public education is still difficult, and research to observe its effects and characteristics is also in its early stages. However, in the stage of preparing for future education, it is a meaningful process to grasp the current situation and point out the direction in preparation for the future in which EduTech will be actively applied to education. Accordingly, the current situation and utilization trends of EduTech at home and abroad were confirmed, and the functions and roles of EduTech platforms used in mathematics were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the EduTech platform was pursuing learners' self-directed learning by constructing its functions so that they could be useful for individual learning of learners in hierarchical mathematics education. In addition, we have confirmed that the platform is evolving to be useful for teachers' work reduction, suitable activities, and evaluations learning management. Therefore, it is necessary to implement instructional design and individual customized learning support measures for students that can efficiently utilize these platforms in the future.

Under the Agricultural technology is influenced from climate that is requisite of seasonal. So this system will cover the problems and develop the agricultural industry as well. So far, the agricultural industry is developing however, it has the points of the weakness because of natural disasters such as wind risk and heavy snow. This paper designs system to change vinyl on the greenhouse. This is a preliminary study for the real-time feedback control of greenhouse. The study developed a wireless IoT sensor system based on authentic technology capacities, to integrate with the protected horticulture Management System. These system was used to evaluate the levels of the snow cover and wind through IoT devices. The existing greenhouse uses the warm water to clear snow or to change methods. This system will recover by changing the vinyl which is covered outside of the greenhouse. The points of the system is changing vinyl to spin pipe. It is contained extra vinyl. The effects of this system are minimized labor protected crops from natural disasters. For this purpose, the study first developed a wireless IoT sensor unit that integrates an MEMS device and wireless communication module. Also, the study developed an operating program that enables real-time response measurement. It will help operational and maintenance greenhouse as a result.

This study investigates the effect of urban and architectural forms on the microclimate in urban areas. It applies urban and architectural elements such as urban form and tissue and building form and characteristics as the main influences on the microclimate within urban area. Among the 23 Automated Weather Stations (AWS) installed within Seoul city by the Korea Meteorological Administration, 6 sites were selected for the analysis, based on their different urban and architectural characteristics, and actual measurements were conducted in August 2017 using individual AWS equipment. Also, the measurements of microclimate and urban and architectural elements within a 500m radius of the AWS measurement points were collected and analyzed. The result of the analysis shows that the microclimate elements, such as wind speed, solar radiation, and temperature, were affected by the direction of the streets, the width, depth, and height of the buildings, the topographic elevation and direction and the traffic volume. This study is expected to contribute to mitigating urban heat island effect and setting the foundation for sustainable cities through development of urban management methods and techniques including the relationship between built environment elements and microclimate.
