Development of BOM System Using Component Based of Urban Transit (도시철도 CBD 기반의 유지보수 BOM 시스템 개발)

  • BOM(Bill of Materials) is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. In order to evaluate the performance of proposed BOM management system, which is very important to maintenance information system of urban transit. We develop component based BOM data and rule-set to design data structure that is mutually independent and integrated efficiently. It divides data whit management interface using component technology. The component based master BOM have advantage in database size and flexibility. Flexibility is measured as the number of updating records in accordance with added new product or engineering change. In database size, component based BOM is the best. we develop master BOM management system in web environment.

  • Individual authentication system that take advantage of multimodal information is very efficient method that can take advantage of method of speech recognition, face recognition, electron signature etc. and protect important information from much dangers that exits on communication network whole as skill that construct security system. This paper deal product connected with hardware from internet space based on public key sign and electron signature description embodied system. Maintenance of public security is explaining that commercial transaction system implementation that is considered is possible as applying individual authentication.

  • 인터넷 중심의 정보화 사회가 되면서 B2C간 또는 B2B간에 상품 정보의 교환이 활발해지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 상품정보 교환을 위한 한 표준으로 이미 제안된 바 있는 XML 기반 통합 상품 표현 모델을 참조하고 구현한다. 이 모델은 다양한 상품정보를 XML에 기반하여 효과적으로 통합하여 표현할 수 있다. 구현은 Java의 컴포넌트 기술인 Java Bean과 EJB를 사용하여 이루어진다. 참조 모델을 사용하면 모든 상품에 공통된 데이터와 본질적인 데이터로 구분하여 기술할 수 있으며, 따라서 상품의 공통된 정보를 통합하여 기술함으로써 데이터의 중복을 피한 수 있다. 논문에서는 참조 모델이 갖는 데이터 중복 제거 효과를 웹 상의 다양한 상품 정보를 대상으로 분석한다.

  • XML은 강력한 데이터 표현능력을 인정받아 전자상거래와 같은 데이터 처리 분야에 적극적으로 도입되고 있다. 하지만 XML을 이용하여 다른 조직이나 사용자간에 원활한 데이터 교환과 사용을 위해서는 공통적으로 사용할 수 있는 태그나 용어가 표준화되어야 한다. 현재 이와 같은 표준화 작업은 CommerceNet에서 주관하는 xCbl이 주를 이루고 있으며, RosettaNet과 BizTalk에서도 자신의 고유한 문서 표준을 채택하고 있다. 하지만 위의 표준은 B2B간의 상품이나 서비스에 대한 포괄적인 관점으로 기술되었기 때문에 상품 자체의 세부적인 정보 표현에는 부족한 점이 있다. 또한 현재 국내에서 이와 같은 표준에 대한 구축이 초기 단계에 있기 때문에 산업별, 산업간 정보 연계를 위한 표준화가 시급하다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 표준화 작업의 일환으로 XML에 기반 하여 가능한 모든 상품을 기술할 수 있는 표준 모델을 제시하고 이를 XML의 DTD로 구현하였다.

A Study of Relation between Consumers' Product Placement Effect Factors and Attitude of Advertisement (PPL 광고효과요인이 광고태도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims at finding out if there are consumers' belief perception of influential factors on product placement. In addition to the difference between the perception of product placement effect factors and that of relevance on attitude of ad. For this work, this study surveyed male and female consumers. As the result, firstly we could find out the consumers perception in factors such as participation of public entertainer, undisguised description, confidence on sponsor, distinction among brands, and offer of information. Secondly, it showed that there were differences between mail and femail consumers' recognition on PPL advertisement attitude. Thirdly, there were perception on product placement effect factors and relevance on attitude of advertisement. These results will not only offer product placement making working group data describing what important belief factors are but also provide basic data for strategy of product placement maker to advertising agency, who has interestin planning to extend its business to PPL field.

  • BOM(Bill of Materials) is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. In manufacturing companies that produce various products with short life cycles, it is very important to manage the BOM of products with various options and versions efficiently. BOM information should be required to share among the departments of engineering, production control, material purchasing, cost management, and shop floor within a manufacturing company. In order to share BOM information efficiently, information system based on WWW(World Wide Web) should be developed. Thus, this paper models and implements Web-based Generic BOM Management System (WGBMS) for management of a number of variant products which are consisted of standard parts under ATO(Assemble To Order) production environment. Also, object-oriented methodology was used to model a generic BOM and phases of navigational design and interface design were introduced to implement the prototype of WGBMS. And Object-Relational Database Management System (ORDBMS) was used to construct the WGBMS database.

  • With the emergence of integrated global market and increased competition, many companies are interested in sharing the product model data. One of the solutions is to share the product model data over the computer network or the internet using a standard format. CAD/CAM, STEP, and internet technologies make it possible to share the product model data. This paper presents methods to visualize 3D STEP geometry data on the internet. To create an internet-based STEP model visualizer, the programming language Java and 3D scene description language VRML have been experimented. The STEP geometry data can be displayed either by Java applets of by a VRML browser. These visualization technologies are applied to a PDM development. Engineers who have a low cost web browser can share the expensive design information even at a remote site.

  • The Korea Customs Service is efficiently handling business with an electronic customs system that can effectively handle one-stop business. This is the case and a more effective method is needed. Import and export require HS Code (Harmonized System Code) for classification and tax rate application for all goods, and item classification that classifies the HS Code is a highly difficult task that requires specialized knowledge and experience and is an important part of customs clearance procedures. Therefore, this study uses various types of data information such as product name, product description, and product image in the item classification request form to learn and develop a deep learning model to reflect information well based on Multimodal representation learning. It is expected to reduce the burden of customs duties by classifying and recommending HS Codes and help with customs procedures by promptly classifying items.

  • The most important part of RIMS(Rolling Stock Information Maintenance System) project is to construct BOM(Bill of Material). BOM is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. To construct BOM for RIMS is not a easy task due to several reasons such as data base scale and flexibility, proper integration between physical BOM and functional BOM, interoperability with other systems, etc. In this study we show several principles that Seoul Metro takes to get over the difficulties mentioned above. Based on these principles we propose the methodology Seoul Metro employs to construct BOM efficiently. We also discuss the applicability of BOM in several fields.

  • Cognitive and emotional product design is becoming crucial because the technology gap decreases more and more. Product design guidelines and the corresponding database are therefore needed to support sensing (e.g. sight, hearing, touch), cognition (e.g. attention, memory) and emotion (e.g. aesthetics, functionality) which users feel differently according to their genders and ages. The user property information which is extracted from various experiments can be used as critical criteria in product design and evaluation, and it is necessary to develop the integrated database of cognition and emotion where to store the user property information. In this research, we design the user property metadata for supporting cognitive and emotional product design and then develop a prototype system. The metadata is designed to reflect the classification of cognition and emotion by investigating and classifying the previous studies related to sensing, cognition and emotion. The user property information is designed in RDF (Resource Description Framework), and a prototype system is developed to store user property information of cognition and emotion based on the designed metadata.
