The influx of the apartment housing culture have passed thirty years, but it has been pricipally developed that in terms of the urban's residents. There is very important problem when we think about the improvement of housing's life of dwellers in rural. Therefore, as increased demand of apartment housing and dweller's needs in rural we think that there is worth studing to the residents of rural's apartment housings. The purpose of this study is to understand the housing in rural, to discriminate between rural's and urban's apartment housing plan and to adapt to basic data to satisfy request of rural apartment housing's residents according to the family composition.

Urban railway signaling system is for train operation with safety in the urban crowded area, that has been increasing the demand of use of advanced train control systems with safe. European Commission is supporting the UGTMS(Urban Guided Transport Management System) project for the research and development. The main objective of UGTMS is to provide the European urban guided transport sector (comprising metro, tram and light rail systems) with a common Management System. A key topic is the extent to which the specifications for the successful ERTMS(European Rail Transport Management System) can be adapted to UGTMS needs. Beyond this, it is necessary to define the relevant functional and system requirements for all types of urban guided transport management systems in order to improve interoperability and intermodality. Also to be explored are the prospects for open system standards. In this article, we look into the trend of the standardization through the UGTMS project in Europe and consider any benefit to the project of the standardization for the urban railway signaling system in Korea.

This paper is aiming to analyse the prefeasibility study of introduction of high speed rail freight system to transport some parcels for train operation efficiencies. As it does, this system can be meant a kind of multimodal system considering the passenger and freight in the same trainset, simultaneously. First, we implemented the parcel service market survey for customers preference, predicted demand forecast for high speed rail freight, and analysed B/C, NPV, etc.. As the result, this new system is feasible of applying the passenger-freight operation system economically, find the needs such as some revision of motor car for parcel freight transportation at the initial stage.

Demand for new information services is ever increasing as information technology advances in an unprecedented pace. Capabilities of information technology to overcome the time and space limitations enables efficient storage and processing of a large volume of data shared by many users in geographically dispersed areas. As the users ask for more useful information services, it is necessary to develop information services tp meet the needs of users. Enhancing information services is also necessary to cope actively with the pressures to open the information service is also necessary to cope actively with the pressures to open the information and telecommunications market as the level of Korean information services industry is still in its infancy. Value Added Network(VAN) services have a tremendous growth potential and its economic and social impact would be great as the information society matures. This study suggests a direction for the development of value added and new-media services based on the survey of individual and business users of information services.

The development of a basin-wide runoff analysis model is to analysis monthly and daily hydrologic runoff components including surface runoff, subsurface runoff, return flow, etc. at key operation station in the targeted basin. A short-term water demand forecasting technology will be developed taking into account the patterns of municipal, industrial and agricultural water uses. For the development and utilization of runoff analysis model, relevant basin information including historical precipitation and river water stage data, geophysical basin characteristics, and water intake and consumptions needs to be collected and stored into the hydrologic database of Integrated Real-time Water Information System. The well-known SSARR model was selected for the basis of continuous daily runoff model for forecasting short and long-term natural flows.

To implement a cloud game service platform supporting multiple users and devices based on real-time streaming, there are many technical needs, including game screen and sound capturing, audio/video encoding in real time created by a high-performance server-generated game screen, and real-time streaming to client devices, such as low-cost PCs, smart devices, and set-top boxes. We therefore present a game service platform for the running and management of the game screen, as well as running the sound on the server, in which the captured and encoded game screen and sound separately provide client devices through real-time streaming. The proposed platform offers Web-based services that allow game play on smaller end devices without requiring the games to be installed locally.

This paper considers the problem of state estimation in linear continuous-time systems with multi-sensor environment and observation uncertainties. We propose two suboptimal filtering algorithms for these types of systems. The filtering algorithms consist of two steps: The local optimal Kalman estimates are computed at the first step. And, these local estimates are lineally fused at the second step. The implementation of the two-step filtering algorithms needs a lower memory demand than the optimal Kalman and adaptive Lainiotis-Kalman filters. In consequence of parallel structure of the proposed filters, the parallel computers can be used for their design. The examples exhibit the effect of common noise on the performance of fusion of the local Kalman estimates based on observations from different sensors and in the presence of uncertainties.

It is estimated that 2.25 million households accounting for $13.5\%$ of total households will have home networking in 2025. As the need for intelligence and sustainability of residential environment has been increasing, the growing demand for intelligent house is obvious. The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of consumers on digital home and their needs. A web-survey was conducted and the survey participants were limited to residents living in housing built after 2003. A total of 120 responses were used for data analysis. The images of digital home were categorized into environmental friendliness, convenience, and sophistication. Also the respondents showed the strong need for functions of digital home such as safety from emergency and entertainment.

Many researches have been carried out on development of high-strength concrete, but most researches have been focused on building structures such as a high-rise building. However today, the demand of high-strength concrete for civil structures like a PSC bridge is increasing steadily. In addition, the current design code based on experimental results of normal strength concrete needs to be modified for high-strength concrete structures. Therefore, it is necessary to perform a research on mechanical properties and mix proportion of high-strength concrete suitable for PSC bridges. The primary purpose of this study was to develop the high-strength concrete mixtures which can be applied to PSC bridges and to evaluate mechanical properties of high-strength concrete.

TMMR(Tactical Multiband Multirole Radio) is one of the important equipments for TICN which is our next military tactical communication system and it supplies to the distribution of traffic of C2(Command & Control) and SA(Situation Awareness) for unit of Brigade and below. In this paper, we define the tactical needs of military communication, and evaluate MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network) protocol for the future digital battle-field through performance comparison with a network simulator.
