Purpose: The purpose of this study was to study the projected workforce of nephrology CNS in Korea. Method: Need models, ratio methods and expert opinion were used for projecting needs for the nephrology CNS. Result: In 2001, there are 28,046 ESRD(end stage of renal disease)patients, 304 renal replacement centers and 1695 nephrology nurses in Korea. the hemodialysis patients per hemodialysis nurse was 12. The number of nephrology CNS required to meet the demand for caring of ESRD patients in 2002, 2005 and 2020 was estimated at 616, 837 and 3105, respectively. 47 ESRD patients per nephrology CNS was revealed as a workforce standard before 2005. After 2005, It was 31 ESRD patients per nephrology CNS. Conclusion: This study founded the need to project future increments and development in supply of qualified nephrology CNS.

We conducted a survey to investigate the actual conditions of work experience, job-hunting, vocational training for unemployed women. The motivation of the study is that the conditions of unemployed women can serve as an important data in developing and utilizing womanpower. We can see that maintaining a balanced work-family life is the major obstacle against developing and utilizing womanpower, so it needs to be solved firstly. Secondly, vocational training system should satisfy the demand of business and conduct unemployed women to employment after training. Thirdly, political support is needed to make social service jobs that women of every class can participate in.

본 논문에서는 국내대학의 정보보호 전공 교육과정을 분석하였고, 교육내용을 중심으로 대학별 교육 차별화 방향을 살펴보았다. 또한 국내 정보보호 산업체를 중심으로 정보보호 분야별 인력채용 수요현황과 대학별 양성인력을 비교 분석하여 정보보호 인력의 충족정도를 분석하였다. 아울러 정보보호 전공 교육과정 측면에서 향후 융합 분야의 정보보호 인력 요구와 방향성을 검토하였다.

Mobile devices is getting to include more functions according to the demand of digital convergence. Applications based on 3D graphic calculation such as 3D games and navigation are one of the functions. 3D graphic calculation requires heavy calculation. Therefore, we need dedicated 3D graphic hardware unit with high performance. 3D graphic calculation needs a lot of complicated floating-point arithmetic operation. However, most of current mobile 3D graphics processors do not have efficient architecture for mobile devices because they are based on those for conventional computer systems. In this paper, we propose arithmetic units for special functions of lighting operation of 3D graphics. Transcendental arithmetic units are designed using approximation of logarithm function. Special function units for lighting operation such as reciprocal, square root, reciprocal of square root, and power can be obtained. The proposed arithmetic unit has lower error rate and smaller silicon area than conventional arithmetic architecture.

Injection molding process is one of the most important methods to produce plastic parts with high efficiency and low cost. Today, injection molded parts have been increased dramatically the demand for high strength and quality applications. This report investigates that the optimum injection molding condition for minimum of shrinkage. Molding shrinkage is occurred by several reasons such as thermal shrinkage, a hardening process and compressibility. This report concentrate on shrinkage by a hardening process. As Change a holding pressure and holding time, checked deflections of X, Y, Z directions by shrinkage based on same condition. In conclusion, it was found that holding pressure is stronger and holding time is longer, the deflection by shrinkage is smaller because injection molding needs enough time for cooling and high density. The FEM Simulation CAE tool. Moldflow, is used for the analysis of injection molding process.

IGCTs have established themselves as the power semiconductor of choice at medium voltage levels within the last few years because of their low conduction and switching losses. The trade-off between these losses can be adjusted by various lifetime control techniques and the growing demand for these devices is driving the need for standard types to cover such applications as Static Circuit Breakers (low on-state) and Medium Voltage Drives (low switching losses). The additional demands of Traction (low operating temperatures) and Current Source Inverters (symmetric blocking) would normally result in conflicting demands on the semiconductor. This paper will outline how a range of power devices can meet these needs with a limited number of wafers and gate units. Some of the key differences between IGCTs and IGBTs will be explained and the outlook for device improvements will be discussed.

Forensic speaker identification needs high accuracy and reliability. However, the current level of speaker identification does not reach its demand. Therefore, the confidence evaluation of results is one of the issues in forensic speaker identification. In this paper, we propose a new confidence measure of forensic speaker identification system. This is based on pitch differences between the registered utterances of the identified speaker and the test utterance. In the experiments, we evaluate this confidence measure by speech identification tasks on various environments. As the results, the proposed measure can be a good measure indicating if the result is reliable or not.

The aim is to get comprehensive view point for the price of apartment. Apartment construction cost is the sun of land cost and building cost. Land price reflects the value of location where building stands. When the gap between price and affordability is narrow enough, effective demand promote apartment construction. The today's trends of rising price, which began in apartment housing, spreads to real estates market and finally overall consumer price. Problem is that price is decided only by supplier's interest. Equilibrium-pricing is common process in housing market. However it is important to review hedonic price and the factor of housing services and focused on the affordability of demanders. AHP analysis was used to study real needs and preference of demanders and dealt with 200 interviewees with brief checklists. We found that social factor is more important than building cost or site development. Especially location of apartment is most important to affect environment quality and accessibility to facilities.

The shift to more practical and simpler lifestyle in the modern society is well reflected in people's preference when it comes to living room space and sofa designs. These elements are intentionally crafted to satisfy the customers' personal needs and wants, sense of comfort, aesthetic preference, and function. This study includes an analysis on the development and conceptualization of sofa designs, exterior materials, and colors of the furniture released by Hanssem, Livart, Borneo, Emons, and Jangin Furniture during the first half of 2007. Modern and practical sofas should be essentially designed according to the customers' demand and current trend. Such design principle is necessary to achieve and maintain competitiveness in the globalizing society.

While the demand for ASP(Application Service Provider) focused on small and medium enterprises who are fully aware of needs of ICT readiness has been increasing, those who consider to adopt ASP are wondering whether their performance would be actually successful if they did. These concerns can be an important standard of judgement, when introducing new information systems, by analyzing ROI(Return on Investment) on the current enterprises. Therefore, to review the feasibility of investing IT and measuring the performance, this study suggests a framework for ROI analysis which estimates IT investment performance, through multi-criteria approach on both financial performance index and non-financial one. We applied methodology on ASP-based IT investment performance evaluation to sample manufacturing companies under 50 employees and deduced the main implications to be considered when introducing the system.
