As users' needs for customized services increase, the service provision method is changing from a vertical structural service provision method to a horizontal structural service provision method. This paradigm shift has led to a change from the way existing users find the content they want to find and provide customized needs of users by content providers. With the recent development of smartphones and various AI technologies, demand for providing seamless services such as smartphones is increasing in automobiles. However, it is difficult to provide services in line with changes in this service paradigm because automobile services provide services centered on finished car manufacturers rather than individually providing services tailored to user needs. In this paper, we develop a Node-RED-based dynamic vehicle service simulation tool so that users can use the service they want in cars. The simulation tool developed provides a simulation environment for services authored by the user using NodeRed by writing, registering, and using NodeRed.

Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the educational needs of interns and residents in Korean medicine as the first step in developing an education program to improve their research competencies. Methods: A mixed-method design, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, was used to investigate the educational needs for research competencies among interns and residents working in Korean medicine hospitals nationwide. Data were collected through online surveys and online focus group discussions (FGDs), and processed using descriptive statistical analysis and thematic analysis. The study results were derived by integrating survey data and FGD outcomes. Results: In total, 209 interns and residents participated in the survey, and 11 individuals participated in two rounds of FGDs. The majority of participants felt a lack of systematic education in research and academic writing in postgraduate medical education and highlighted the need for nationally accessible education due to significant disparities in the educational environment across hospitals and specialties. The primary barrier to learning research and academic writing identified by learners was the lack of knowledge, leading to time constraints. Improving learners' research competencies, relationship building, autonomy, and motivation through a support system was deemed crucial. The study also identified diverse learner types and preferred educational topics, indicating a demand for learner-centered education and coaching. Conclusion: This study provides foundational data for designing and developing a program on education on research competencies for interns and residents in Korean medicine and suggests the need for initiatives to strengthen these competencies.

Purpose : The demand for skilled critical care nurses and the significant impact of the practice-readiness gap underscore the need for educational programs bridging nursing education and clinical practice. This would ensure safe, high-quality patient care and a stable workforce. This study aimed to explore the educational needs of critical care nurses to develop an essential nursing education program for nursing students, addressing the practice-readiness gap they may encounter as new nurses. Methods : The study espoused a qualitative approach by utilizing focus group interviews conducted in South Korea in April and May 2022. A total of 11 nurses participated in the study. Data were collected from three focus groups, each consisting of three to four nurses from intensive care units. Focus group interviews were conducted using a semi-structured questionnaire. Content analysis was performed on the interview data using thematic analysis. Ethical approval for the study was obtained from the institutional review board. Results : Nursing education programs in intensive care units should prioritize fundamental nursing competencies such as basic nursing and physical examinations. Participants' critical care nursing education needs were categorized into four main themes: holistic nursing competency, advancement of practical education, skilled communication, and systematic critical care nursing education. Conclusion : The study's findings provide valuable insights and guidelines for developing critical and intensive care nursing education programs tailored for nursing students.

A radical environmental change of enterprise and varieties of customer needs demand that the value-added activities of enterprise should be restructured and coordinated. But it is not sufficient that the reengineering processes are restricted withen a firm, so the value-added processes should be expanded into intercompany. The integrated organizational structure between enterprises refer to supply chain network. In this paper we present characteristics, structure concepts, and axiomatic model of supply chain network.

This study proposes a technology valuation model applicable for technology transfer or transaction, based on the review of theoretical models and practical applications. The model analyzes individual technologies that can be transacted as economic goods in terms of intellectual properties as subjects of transaction. The valuation of technology for transfer or transaction needs to be performed in view of demand side rather than supply side. This study suggests a successive approximation method in order to evaluate value of technologies quantitatively

The design technique of turbo pumps has been developed due to an increasing demand from related industrial fields. But infant stage of turbomachinery in the domestic industry needs more fundamental design method. Among various types of pumps, centrifugal pump was chosen because of its wide industrial application. It is difficult to decide the correct specification of centrifugal impeller, because of its complex flow analysis at the inlet, passage and outlet. This study is limited on the impeller blade design and its related performance analysis.

By the rapid technological advance and social needs, demand of Multi Function Facility is on the increase. The multiplex is an alternative of them. In case of fire, special function of facility nay result in terrible accident. Therefore, literature and regulations survey on the multiplex were enforced, Multiplex facilities in Daejeon City were surveyed, and reformation of regulation and structural system were suggested in this study.

The growing usage of multimedia communication applications with specific bandwidth and real-time delivery requirements has created the needs for quality of service(QoS). In response to the growing demand for an integrated services, the Reservation Protocol(RSVP) has been designed to exchange resource reservation among routers in the internet. RSVP protocol provides the quality of service for real-time applications but the network efficiency is reduced because of the limited bandwidth. In order to use network resources efficiently. We compare the resource efficiency of traditional reservation methods with that of the proposed method and evaluate the performance of the internet phone.

A total of 2,510 police personnel aged 20-59 were examined to determine the prosthodontic demands. The results were as follows. 1. Prosthodontic demands increase with aging. 2. Periodontic problem is the major cause of the prosthodontic needs in old personnel. 3. Trauma is the more popular cause of the prosthodontic need than periodontal problem in policeman. 4. The major cause of the untreatment is the lacks of time. 5. The younger persons have more fear of dental treatment. 6. Prostodontic demands show declining trends.

Modernization of a port requires a considerable port facility expansion through grading up the cargo handling efficiency, increasing water depth of channels and basins to accomodate Large ships, etc. In many ports in the world, the needs of bigger ship calls in excess of conventional capacity of channels and basins demand for capital dredging as well as maintenance dredging resulting from siltation, and those activities are incurring heavy annual expenditure of the ports.
