The purpose of this study is to investigate the features of science classes of Science Core Schools (SCSs) perceived by students. 654 students from 14 SCSs were surveyed with two open-ended questions on the features of science classes. The students' responses were analyzed with NetMiner 4.5, in terms of the centrality (of betweenness and of degree) analysis and the community analysis. The results of the research are as follows: (1) the science classes of SCSs were perceived by students to be of the environment of free questioning, active participation and communication, caring teacher, more science experiments and advanced contents, and knowledge sharing; (2) science classes in SCSs were perceived to be different from those of ordinary high schools because SCSs provide more opportunities for science-related special courses (like project work, advanced science subjects), extra-curricular activities, inquiry and research activities, school supports, hard-working classroom environment, longer studying hours, R&E and club activities. The students' perceptions of SCS science classes appear to be in line with the characteristics of 'good' science lessons from previous studies. The SCS project itself and the features of SCS science classes would help us to see how we introduce educational innovations into actual schools.
Purpose - This study aims to build a systematic frame for effective marketing performances by prioritizing product type and pertinent channel that are appropriate for digital channel characteristics. FCB grid model was used to define a product type, and Internet communication satisfaction index was considered as a marketing performance measuring tool for digital channel. Research design, data, and methodology - As systematic understanding for Digital marketing is still unfamiliar to even professional marketer, the hypothesis was established based on preliminary research by conducting a qualitative survey of marketing experts who already experienced digital marketing in the fields as well as existing related study literature. Through a preliminary research, the degree for understanding for digital marketing, current digital marketing (including product/channel mix) execution status, and difficulties for marketers who had experienced digital marketing were figured out. Based on preliminary research, the main part of survey was designed to examine which type of product would be effective for digital marketing and which digital channel would be effective to achieve marketing performance in line with marketing objectives. To collect data, the questionnaire survey was conducted for professional marketers who had experienced digital marketing in 10 different fields including FMCG, cosmetics, distribution industry for one month (July, 10, 2014~Aug, 10, 2014). A total of 90 questionnaire were distributed and 66 questionnaires were used for the analysis, excluding the unanswered and insincere questionnaires. The data were analysed using SPSS ver.18.0. Results - The analysis for product type which is pertinent to digital marketing and prioritization for digital channel per digital marketing performance type could be summarized as followings. First, high involvement buying decision type of product and rational purchasing decision type of product in FCB grid are more effective for digital marketing in terms of marketing performance. Therefore, marketers in field would prioritize considering product type before executing digital marketing. Second, factor for sales increase, potential consumer creation and brand awareness was represented respectively 31.25%, 21.9%, and 20.8% as a result of factor analysis in terms of digital marketing channel performance. Third, effective major digital channel per digital marketing performance factor was differently identified as each digital channel has its own peculiarity. For instance, search engine is more effective for increasing sales while social media such as facebook and Kakaotalk is more effective for encouraging consumer participation. Conclusions - As a result of this study, product type and peculiarity which were pertinently fit to digital marketing were identified by using FCB grid model, and also suggested framework for decision making of digital channel selection in line with marketing objectives for effective marketing performance. It also provided insight to professional marketer which type of product could be effective for digital marketing execution as well as which factors should be measured for digital marketing performance.

This study analysed theory and application of holistic innovation policy in the 3rd generation innovation policy with cases of Finland and Korea. Innovation policy areas of both countries are expanding from simple goal of economic development to extensive goals such as sustainable development, quality of life, balanced growth etc. Also administrative system changed in order to let technical innovation on the center of national operation and reorganized relation and structure of relative policies like manpower, education, region policy. Particularly, Korea is in embryo standing for S&T driven society since Noh's government. But, there are differences in embodiment degree and feature between both countries. Finland reinvigorate field of public opinion due to corporatism tradition as a Scandinavian institution. Government support system developed co-program and co-policy beyond territory of individual ministry to raise policy effectiveness. However, concept of the Korean innovation policy is ahead of the times but maintained framework of developing country. And there is no active participation of private sector and civil society because transition process accomplished on the top-down method, It could hardly progress toward transition in spite of various efforts to carry out a reform.

The purpose of this study is to took for systematic, effective ways of providing continuing education for incumbent librarians in order that they could be more specialized in their profession. For the purpose, this research performed pervious literature reach and then a questionnaire survey for the librarians to determine their service periods and opinions, requirements and suggestions about continuing education as above and the current status of the education. The result of the study can be described as below. First, few incumbent librarians generally participate in continuing education. The participation, if any, is different in degree according to types of the librarian's library and task. Second, continuing education provided by responsible agencies is seen negative in value, but relatively positive in validity. it is agreed that the education is not easy to be provided due to a lack of time. Third, individual incumbent librarians are little devoted to continuing education, although the devotion is somewhat different according to the type of library. Fourth, an absolute majority of the librarians want the establishment of an authorities exclusively assuming continuing education service and the provision of informal continuing education related to computer during their working hours or vacation period. Fifth, the librarians under survey suggests that it is necessary for the development of continuing education to establish an exclusively responsible authorities as mentioned before and a system for evaluating each of agencies providing continuing education service, implement relevant, specific programs, introduce incentives for those librarians who receive the education and thereon make studies, help and promote librarians to be trained abroad, apply new ways of continuous education and extend the range of such educational process.

As a case study, we analyzed the professor's teaching professionalism in college of science-engineering based on pedagogical content knowledge. Two professors from the college of science-engineering located in Chungcheongbuk-do participated in this study. After collecting their syllabi, we observed their classes and conducted semi-structured interview before and after the classes. Analysis were conducted on their syllabi, taped videos, field notes and transcripts of the interview. As a result, both professors' orientation to teaching was not only related to learning subject matter knowledge, but also developing job competencies or communication skills. Their orientations were transformed according to the educational situation. After establishing the final learning goals, the professors organized weekly plan by listing the topics. However, they were unaware that the goals of each topic should be presented in detail in the class. Also, one of them presented a lack of understanding of the students' prior knowledge and showed low understanding of what aspects of the topics make students difficult to learn. In addition, the two professors applied various teaching strategies such as giving examples, questioning, and problem solving, but the degree of students' participation was not enough in the process of teaching. In the aspect of assessment, the professors had low understanding in students' achievement or feedback. Based on the results of the analysis, this study proposed methods and strategies for improving the teaching professionalism of science-engineering professors.

Although fasting programs have recently attracted close attention because of benefits of detoxification, few studies have examined these programs. This study investigates the effects of a modified juice-based fasting program on lipid metabolism. A total of 33 volunteers fasted for 10 days and participated in program lectures, exercise programs, water bath regimens, and enemas. Pre- and post-program blood samples were obtained to evaluate lipoprotein levels. A paired t-test was conducted using SPSS 18.0. Changes in the lipid profile were observed during the juice-based fasting program and attending 3 degrees. All lipid profiles decreased significantly, including total cholesterol (TC) (p<0.001), triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) (p<0.05). Program participation was documented by assessing attendance levels as high, moderate, and low. TC decreased significantly in all programs and levels (p<0.05), TG decreased proportionally only in enemas according to the attending degree: high (48 %), moderate (20 %), and low (10 %). HDL-C decreased at all low levels, but moderate exercise ($53.8{\pm}12.5mg/dL$ to $55.6{\pm}10.2mg/dL$) and a high enema ($54.9{\pm}14.1mg/dL$ to $55.0{\pm}9.4mg/dL$) showed small increases. The antioxidant property of the juice-based fasting program in terms of the blood vessel, enemas, and exercise played an important role in preventing cardiovascular disease from increased levels of HDL-C. These results suggest that juice-based fasting and combined lifestyle programs may help improve lipid metabolism and protect against dyslipidemia.
