Organizations pursue a CRM strategy for the purpose of increasing business performance and value. However, firms face a multitude of organizational challenges associated with this endeavor. To reduce their risk of failure, it is suggested that firms undertake a deep analysis of organizational readiness prior to committing to a CRM initiative. Insurance sector is no exception to this fact. There is an increased need to concentrate on the various challenges thrown open by the public insurance firms in implementing CRM. Many insurance firms have invested into customer driven CRM but research indicates varying outcomes (Schmith 2004). While it is clear that there are significant issues involved in the CRM implementation and success and environment faced by the public sector. It is clear that business should have an easier time in applying CRM systems is the strategic value for public sector. With customers demanding more service and accessibility from administrators, public sector CRM software technologies have to offer best solutions for achieving process and cost objectives (Souder 2001). With results which go far beyond improved service delivery and include sustained cost reductions, increased customer knowledge and better employee morale, CRM software implementation and post product environments offer great upside value. Although there are material differences in public sector use of CRM strategy, they share at least one glaring similarity - they have much to gain from proven CRM software technology. As business methods cross over in the public sector, many government bodies are investigating how they can adopt and adapt various CRM models (Bleyer 2003). There is a need to understand the similarities and differences in public sector CRM to foster shared knowledge, business processes and planning functions to integrate disparate technologies and software platforms and then, of course, the organizational culture to support knowledge sharing (Peters 1997). For the public sector, there are clearly identified CRM processes which have resulted in increased profits and improved efficiency. These have focused on sales, marketing and customer service activities, which often operate along fundamentally different lines in various public sector insurance companies. Thus the present research paper makes an attempt to explore how public sector CRM methods can be adopted and subsequently adapted.
We examined the genetic diversity in intra-populations of Korean shiner, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, in six major rivers (Bukhan, Namhan, Geum, Osipcheon, Nakdong and Seomjin river) of Korea based on two different mitochondrial genes, the mitochondrial cytochrome b and the 16S rRNA. Analysis of sequence variation in a 657-bp segment of the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene revealed deep divergence among populations (98.2~99.9%) and high genetic diversity from geographically isolated populations. Intra-specific variation in this 697-bp segment of the 16S rRNA gene sequences was very low and nearly identical. Six isolate populations of C. splendidus showed a high similarity (97.7%~99.7%). This result may be indicative of a complex history of connection and isolation of the rivers in the Korea peninsula.
Distribution patterns of sandy bottom macrobenthic communities were studied around the Hupo coastal area. The seasonal surveys were conducted at 15 chosen sites within a depth range of 10 to 50 m along 10 km of the coastline using a Smith-McIntyre grab $(0.05\;m^2)$ in 2005. Overall depth distribution following the direction of the offshore become deeper parallel to the coastline. A total of 319 macrobenthic species were sampled with a mean density of $1,972\;ind./m^2$, and mean biomass was 82.5 wet-weight $g/m^2$. The major individual-dominant species were three polychaetes Spiophanes bombyx ($436\;ind./m^2$), Scoletoma longifolia ($250\;ind./m^2$) and Magelona japonica ($170\;ind./m^2$), and bivalve Adontorhina subquadrata ($73\;ind./m^2$). Cluster analysis and non-metric multidimensional scaling (nMDS) analysis based on Bray-Curtis similarity identified 2 major station groups which corresponded to macrobenthic faunal assemblages and their characteristic species. In addition, environmental conditions were significantly different between station groups. Group I contained mostly 20 and 50 m deep sites and was associated with sandy mud. Group I was characterized by high abundance of S. bombyx, S. longifolia, A. subquadrata. It was divided into two sub-groups (I-I and I-II) in relation to depth. Sub-group I-I was associated with deeper sites than sub-group I-II. Group II included mostly inshore area shallower than 15 m and was associated with coarse and medium sand. Group II was characterized by Lumbrinerides hayashii and Urothoe grimaldii japonica.

Objective : Posture induced common peroneal nerve (CPN) palsy is usually produced during the prolonged squatting or habitual leg crossing while seated, especially in Asian culture and is manifested by the onset of foot drop. Because of its similarity to discogenic foot drop, patients may be diagnosed with a lumbar disc disorder, and in some patients, surgeons may perform unnecessary examinations and even spine surgery. The purpose of our study is to establish the clinical characteristics and diagnostic assessment of posture induced CPN palsy. Methods : From June 2008 to June 2012, a retrospective study was performed on 26 patients diagnosed with peroneal nerve palsy in neurophysiologic study among patients experiencing foot drop after maintaining a certain posture for a long time. Results : The inducing postures were squatting (14 patients), sitting cross-legged (6 patients), lying down (4 patients), walking and driving. The mean prolonged neural injury time was 124.2 minutes. The most common clinical presentation was foot drop and the most affected sensory area was dorsum of the foot with tingling sensation (14 patients), numbness (8 patients), and burning sensation (4 patients). The clinical improvement began after a mean 6 weeks, which is not related to neural injury times. Electrophysiology evaluation was performed after 2 weeks later and showed delayed CPN nerve conduction study (NCS) in 24 patients and deep peroneal nerve in 2 patients. Conclusion : We suggest that an awareness of these clinical characteristics and diagnostic assessment methods may help clinicians make a diagnosis of posture induced CPN palsy and preclude unnecessary studies or inappropriate treatment in foot drop patients.

As a result of the research project 'Survey and excavation of Korean indigenous species' to secure unrecorded species in Korea, a total of 14 unreported bacterial strains assigned to the phyla Deinococcus-Thermus and Bacteroidetes were isolated from various environmental habitats all around Korea. On the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity and affiliation to the clade with the closest species, it was concluded that the isolates represent deep groups of the phyla Deinococcus-Thermus and Bacteroidetes. There have been no records about these 14 unreported species in Korea; therefore 2 species of 2 genera in the class Deinococci within the phylum Deinococcus-Thermus, and 11 species of 9 genera in the class Flavobacteriia and one species in one genus in the class Sphigobacteriia within the phylum Bacteroidetes are described as unreported species found in Korea. Gram staining reaction, morphological and other biochemical characteristics are described in the species description section.
Strain NR $15-1^T$ isolated from traditional Korean Nuruk is described as a new species and named as Aspergillus coreanus NR $15-1^T$ sp. novo Strain NR $15-1^T$ grew rapidly to form yellow-green colonies whose surfaces were velvety on Czapek solution agar. Conidial heads were yellow to light and elliptical, whereas the conidiophore was colorless and typically long. In addition, vesicles were from flask-shaped to globose, and sterigmata are uniseriate. Conidia were spherical and deep yellow-green, and their surfaces were lightly roughened. The G+C content of strain NR $15-1^T$ was 51 mol% and strain NR $15-1^T$contained a dihydrogenated ubiquinone with Q9 (94.9%) as a major quinone. The nucleotide sequences of strain NR $15-1^T$ in the two Internal Transcribed Spacers (ITS 1 and 2) and 5.8S rDNA showed highest similarity when compared with that of A. tubingensis and A. phoenicis NRRL $365^T$. However, based on morphological and chemotaxonomic characteristics, this strain was different from A. tubingensis and A. phoenicis NRRL $365^T$. On the basis of the data presented, it is proposed that strain NR $15-1^T$ should be placed in the genus Aspergillus as a new species, Aspergillus coreanus sp. novo Therefore, the type strain of the new species is strain NR $15-1^T$(=KCTC 18075P^T,=KCCM 80006^T$.
This study presents a numerical model for simulating dense interflows. The governing equations are provided and the finite difference method is used with the $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence model. The model is used to simulate a dense interflow established in a deep ambient water, resulting velocity and excess density profiles. It is observed that velocity decreases in the longitudinal direction due to water entrainment in the vicinity of the outlet and rarely changes for increased Richardson number. Similarity collapses of velocity and excess density are obtained, but those of turbulent kinetic energy and dissipation rate are not. A shape factor for the dense interflow is obtained from the simulated profiles. The value of this shape factor can be used in the layer-averaged modeling of dense interflows. In addition, a buoyancy-related parameter ($c_{3{\varepsilon}}$) for the $k-{\varepsilon}$ model and the volume expansion coefficient (${\beta}_0$) are obtained from the simulated results.

The protein secondary structures are important information for studying the evolution, structure and function of proteins. Recently, deep learning methods have been actively applied to predict the secondary structure of proteins using only protein sequence information. In these methods, widely used input features are protein profiles transformed from protein sequences. In this paper, to obtain an effective protein profiles, protein profiles were constructed using protein sequence search methods such as PSI-BLAST and HHblits. We adjust the similarity threshold for determining the homologous protein sequence used in constructing the protein profile and the number of iterations of the profile construction using the homologous sequence information. We used the protein profiles as inputs to convolutional neural networks and recurrent neural networks to predict the secondary structures. The protein profile that was created by adding evolutionary information only once was effective.
Soil chemical properties were investigated to elucidate vertical movement of mineral nutrients in a fairway slope of 27 year-old golf course. Soil samples were taken at every 10cm depth to 4Ocm on 4 sites 20m apart each along two parallel lines 60m apart on the slope(15˚) in August. Accord-ing to the similarity of vertical distribution pattern they could be classified into 6 distinctive groups(magnesium, nitrate, phosphorus, ammonium, manganese and copper) and the slope tended to affect the vertical movement of minerals. The contents of Ca and Mg increased with depth while NO$_3$-N and Zn decreased and correlated positively. Soil pH showed significant positive correlation with depth, Ca and Mg. Phosphorus content was highest in 10~20cm depth and decreased resulting in relatively high content in 30~40cm depth of the bottom site of slope. Iron distribution pattern was similar to phosphorus. Potassium and $NH_4$showed various(irregular) patterns. Mn was highest in the deep layer at the lower sites of slope but it was reverse at the upper sites and negatively correlated with Fe. Cu content incresed with depth and heighest in 20~30cm depth. Electroconductivity showed significant positive correlation with $NO_3$-N. Magnesium, cal-cium and copper seem to be prone to defficiency due to fast leaching, and nitrate and phosphorus prone to excess problem. Preventive measures on acidification of surface soil should be taken.
Preference for music is determined by a variety of factors, and identifying characteristics that reflect specific factors is important for music recommendations. In this paper, we propose a method to extract the singing voice related music features reflecting various musical characteristics by using a model learned for singer identification. The model can be trained using a music source containing a background accompaniment, but it may provide degraded singer identification performance. In order to mitigate this problem, this study performs a preliminary work to separate the background accompaniment, and creates a data set composed of separated vocals by using the proven model structure that appeared in SiSEC, Signal Separation and Evaluation Campaign. Finally, we use the separated vocals to discover the singing voice related music features that reflect the singer's voice. We compare the effects of source separation against existing methods that use music source without source separation.
