  • This study examined musical concepts of early childhood teachers with the 'Sing-a-New-Song' activity and problems teachers face in the application of musical concepts. Participants were 10 kindergarten teachers; data were collected through lesson plans, videos of classes, and interviews with teachers. Results showed that (1) selection of songs focused on words of a song rather than musical concepts; ignoring development of the musical level of the children. (2) Goal-setting ignored musical concepts. (3) Class management confused musical concepts with other concepts. (4) No evaluation of musical concepts was undertaken. Problems included teachers' lack of knowledge of musical development in young children, insufficient understanding and limited application of musical concepts, and low expectations regarding music as a subject of instruction.

  • RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) system is recognition technology which can maintain various object's information. Reliability of RFID tags is the most important factor in RFID system. In this paper, we proposed ALT (Accelerated Life Test) method for UHF RFID tags. Temperature and humidity were adopted as stress factors and the accelerated life tests were conducted in three different conditions. We performed failure analysis for identifying failure mechanism and statistical analysis of test data. In the statistical analysis, we employed Inverse Power law for relationship between tag's life and stress. Through the statistical analysis, we proposed acceleration factor for several levels of temperature-humidity. The reliability qualification test plans were also designed for the tag's target reliability.

  • Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart or CAPTCHA has received remarkable attention. Deciphering distorted texts is still a human task. The current CAPTCHA mainly requires users to read English alphabets. As such, Thai CAPTCHA may be the choice for Thai online practitioners. However, no published work has examined how Thai online practitioners perceive CAPTCHA. This study thus attempts to fill this void. Based on the 112 number of usable online questionnaire submission, Thai online practitioners are all aware of CAPTCHA. Also, nine out of ten samples identified correctly the prime benefits of CAPTCHA. Using exploratory factor analysis, their attitude towards CAPTCHA was classified into two dimensions. They perceived (1) drawback of general CAPTCHA and (2) feasibility of Thai CAPTCHA. In addition to extending our insight into application of CAPTCHA, policy-makers responsible for electronic commerce in Thailand could initiate plans in response to Thai online practitioners' perception.

  • A risk analysis consists of a triplet, , where Si is the scenario identification; Pi is the probability of each scenario; and Xi is the consequences of each scenario. A new computing framework, OMAM (ORIGEN-MAAP4-MMCS), has been developed and applied for assessing the risk of a reference plant as well as radiation source terms using the concept of risk triplet. The result of this study using the OMAM framework presented in this paper, can contribute to producing domestic nuclear power plant's risk data base as well as to establishing severe accident management plans.

  • To maintain competitiveness in the modern automotive market, it is important to carry out process planning concurrently with new car development processes. Process planners need to make decisions concurrently and collaboratively in order to reduce manufacturing preparation time for developing a new car. Automated generation of a simulation model by using the integrated process plan database can reduce time consumed for carrying out a simulation and allow a consistent model to be used throughout. In this research, we developed a web-based system for concurrent and collaborative process planning and flow analysis for an automotive general assembly using web, database, and simulation technology. A single integrated database is designed to automatically generate simulation models from process plans without having to rework the data. This system enables process planners to evaluate their decisions quickly, considering various factors, and easily share their opinions with others. By using this collaborative system, time and cost put into the assembly process planning can be reduced and the reliability of the process plan would be improved.

  • The Aim of this development is the safety management network of embankment facilities using forecasting analysis algorism. Using this algorithm it is possible to predict a failure of embankment facilities in advance. therefore, it is necessary for making plans of a safety countermove. In this development we have researched the analysis method which could operate effectively the embankment facilities using real-time monitoring data from a remote sensing system and the safety managerial program using the algorithm from the analysis method developed.

  • Much attention has been paid recently to environmental destruction by golf course constructions in Koera. An efficiency and up-to-date technology on the planning and design practices has been requested to minimize the environmental impacts. Computerized systems for golf course design in the point of physical conservation of environment were discussed here. Geograpic Information System were applied on the process of geograpical data input and analysis through the final outputs, Simulation works by the total database management make enable to pre-investigate of the design in view of an assessment of environment impacts. It is also possible to evaluate plans easily and propose the alternatives properly. Precise quantity caculation of en-gineering works by computer system should be guarantee scientific, economic, and environme-ntally sound golf course design.

  • This study aims to find satisfactory or unsatisfactory factors that startups either currently being occupied in or already left the business incubator made in a survey with a total of the sixteen firms responded. Among the sixteen, ten were the firms that have occupied in the business incubator and the six firms left the incubator. Mostly, the firms were satisfied with the incubator's roles with showing 4.4 satisfaction. The support for business facilities were the number one factor for the incubator has to do with the firms had positive answers from the firms. However, support for the production or sales showed less satisfaction compared to business facilities, a need that the incubator should improve the roles for the future. The results of this study can contribute to the development of medium and long-term plans for the business incubator.

  • AI is recognized to be a key technology for digital transformation (DT) and the value of AI is considered to determine the future of the company. However, in reality, although managers acknowledge the future value of AI and have plans to introduce it, most are not sure what to expect from AI or how to apply it to their business. This study compares two company cases to demonstrate how an organization has successfully achieved AI led organizational change while another failed. Specifically, by taking institutionalist's view, this study examines how the legitimacy enables and constrains AI led organizational changes in organization's practices, processes, and infrastructure. The results of this study indicate that for the success of AI led organizational changes, the legitimacy plays an important role by reducing the challenges from stakeholders and increasing the institutional momentum to move through the phases of the change.
