  • Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) is the mobile TV service based on a digital radio transmission system that provides high quality audio/video and other auxiliary data services. As users want to store the DMB content in their device to be consumed later or to be shared among users, a standardized format needs to be specified to guarantee the interoperability for the DMB contents for various devices. DMB AF (Application Format) specification defines a file format for DMB contents and services. It specifies how to combine the variety of DMB contents with associated information for a presentation in a well-defined format that facilitates storage, interchange, management, editing, and presentation of the DMB contents in protected, governed, and interoperable ways. In this paper we present our implementation of DMB AF as part of the development of DMB AF reference software. Our implementation of DMB AF is developed as the reference software for the standard specification that consists of a three applications: packager, media player, metadata browser and collection of supporting libraries used by the applications.

  • 지리정보시스템에서 사용되는 공간데이터의 특성은 양이 방대하고 구조가 복잡하여 데이터를 구축하는데 많은 비용과 노력이 요구된다. 또한 각 지리정보 응용시스템마다 특정한 포맷으로 데이터를 구축, 사용하는 실정 때문에 기존에 동일한 데이터가 구축이 되었더라도 재사용하지 못하고 다시 재 구축하여 사용하였다. 대부분의 지리정보 응용시스템에서 기존의 데이터를 재 사용지 못하고 전체 예산의 60% 이상을 데이터 구축에 중복 투자하는 문제점이 존재한다. 또한 데이터구축의 문제점뿐만 아니라 소프트웨어적으로 시스템 환경에 의존적으로 구현되어 시스템 환경이 변하는 경우에 시스템 자체가 수정되거나 재 구현되어야 하는 문제점도 존재하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 데이터 중복구축 및 투자와 시스템 의존적인 구성의 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 기존에 존재하는 데이터를 온라인상에서 검색하여 사용자가 재 사용할 수 있도록 OpenGIS에서 제안한 CatalogService를 구현하고 분산된 상호 이질적인 환경에서 서로의 데이터를 공유하고 연동하는 모델을 제안하고 구현하기 위해 WWW, COM, CORBA 기반으로 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • A lot of information storage devices have been introduced and developed for recently years. The trends of those devices are high capacity, compact size, low power consumption, reliability, and removability for data interchange with other device. As a satisfaction of these trends, near-field technique is in the spotlight as the next generation device. In order for a near-field recording to be successfully implemented in the storage device, a slider and suspension is introduced as actuating mechanism. The optical slider is designed considering near-filed optics. Suspension is not only supports slider performance, and tracking servo capacity but also meets the optical characteristics such as tilt aberration, and guarantee to satisfy shock performances for the mobility fir the actuator. In this study, the optical slider and the suspension for near-field probe array are designed and analyzed considering dynamic performance of head-gimbal assembly and shock simulation..

  • 오늘날 우리사회는 컴퓨터기술과 통신기술의 발달로 인하여 정보사회로의 이행이 급속히 진전되고 있으며, 기업들은 치열한 경쟁에서 살아남기 위하여 정보기술을 이용한 경영혁신에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 정보기술의 급속한 발달에 따라 정보시스템의 기능이 조직의 내부에서 점차적으로 조직외부의 고객과 공급자 그리고 경쟁자 등으로 그 초점이 이동되어가고 있는 실정이다. 기업조지간에 통신망기술로 연결하여 정보를 교환하는 조직간정보시스템(Interorganizational System : IOS) 은 산업의 구조를 변화시킬 뿐만 아니라 , 기업에 잠재적 경쟁우위를 제공하는데 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 조직간정보 시스템이 특수한 형태인 전자자료교환(Electronic Data Interchange : EDI) 시스템은 표준양식에 의한 기업간의 거래문서를 전자적으로 컴퓨터와 컴퓨터간 통신 네트워크에 의해 교환하는 것으로서, 기업간 정보거개의 혁신적인 개선과 업무절차의 간소화에 의한 생산성의 향상 및 업무의 효율성 증대 등 획기적인 성과를 가져온다. 본 연구의 목적은 EDI 시스템의 성공적 구현에 영향을 미치는 주요요인에 대한 중요도 순위를 설문을 통하여 조사하고자 하는 것이다. 우선 EDI 시스템의 개념을 살펴본후, EDI 시스템구현의 성공요인에 대한 선행연구들을 고찰하고, 선행연구에서 도출된 주요요인들을 연구자별로 분류하여, 본 연구에서 조사하고자 하는 요인들을 설정한다. 다음으로 EDI를 이용하고 있는 국내기업의 70여개 기업체를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하고 본 연구에서 조사하고자 하는 19가지 주요요인에 대한 중요도를 실증적으로 분석하고자 한다.

  • Computer-aided logistics support system is recognized an essential system to reduce supply and maintenance cost, and to improve readiness of weapon system or operationable composite machines. According to these trends, this paper focuses on the design scheme and the computerization strategy of information management system for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) work. Suggested system. LAMIS(Logistics support Analysis Management Information System) is a total system that composed of Logistics Support Analysis Management information system (LSAM), Configuration Management Information System (CMIS), Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS), Project Management System (PMS) and Information Retrival System(IRS) etc. Also, LAMIS is a computerized tool that improves current supply and maintenance support program, that attempts to reliable requirment analysis of logistics support elements, and that supports to use the existing technical specification of similar one when weapon system acquisition project is started newly. When LAMIS implication is completed, it can be applied to logistics support of defense or commercial site. Straightway, LAMIS will be enhanced with computer - aided design system, engineering drawing system, interactive electronic technical manual system, electronic data interchange system, and three dimensional simulation system to weapon system configuration. When that is done, LAMIS is CALS system.

  • This study is to approach e-Trade issues and how to settle the dispute for e-Trade according to on-line Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process. Most on-line systems operate on a limited access basis. The increasing use of the internet to do business brings to light at least important concerns to persons who engage in commerce on-line, or e-Trade. There is some concern about the limits of current internet technology to guarantee the security of e-Trade. The new technology has transformed society and is defining new years of doing business. This revolution in technology has even changed the nature of many of the goods and services that are the subjects of e-Trade. There is also concern about the limits of the legal framework to guarantee the enforcement of e-Trade. A significant issue is how the law should be adapted to reflect business practices regarding such cyberspace agreements as Web site click-on agreements, e-data interchange, and on-line sales. The principal benefits of on-line ADR should typically be faster and less expensive than traditional conciliation arbitration. The on-line ADR system has the several significances, decreasing inappropriate cost as time and burden of ADR, providing an approachable measure of relief and more efficient tool for the settle of dispute. Therefore, on-line ADR could be used as an adjunct resolution process in large class actions where each single claim is small, but varies somewhat, thus requiring some individual fact determination.

  • Korean government, port and logistics companies have given a lot of their efforts to exchange electronic documents between themselves and their partners. As the results of them, Korean EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) standards were made by Korean EDIFACT committee and the standards have been used by companies and governmental organizations in Korea. However, Korean port and logistics EDI system is based on YAN(Value Added Network) and one VAN company has monopolistic right to relay EDI documents to Korean HOMAF(Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries) and Customs Service. Therefore it leads to a lot of problems such as inconvenient software, expensive transmission fee, insufficient improvement of business process and the difficulty of connection with the in-house systems of user companies. For solving these problems, this study is aimed to progress for XML and XML-based electronic commerce framework. This paper shows a optimal XML/EDl method using XML/EDl, BizTalk Framework, ebXML Framework. Fer improving extant problems in port and logistics industry, this paper proposed XML/EDl system based on system architectural level, support technical level, business infrastructure level.

  • This research work contributes to a study for the procedure and methodology to assess the fatigue durability for a composite torque link for helicopter landing gear, which was newly developed and fabricated by the resin transfer moulding technique to interchange with metal component. The simulated load spectrum anticipated to be applied to the torque link during its operation life was generated using an advanced method of probabilistic random process, and the fatigue durability was evaluated by the residual strength degradation approach on the basis of material test data. The full scale fatigue test was performed and compared with the analysis results.

  • 국내 제약산업의 경쟁력을 제고시키기 위해서는 신약의 심사/허가 기간을 단축시켜 급변하게 변하는 글로벌 제약시장에서 경쟁 우위적 위치를 선점할 수 있도록 기회를 제공할 수 있도록 체계 개선이 시급하다. 신약허가를 위해서는 임상시험 결과에 대한 안전성과 유효성 등에 대한 심사가 수행되게 된다. 하지만 현재 신약허가를 위해서 제약사와 임상시험수탁기관(Contract Research Organization, CRO)에서 데이터 정보체계인 Domain, Variable 및 Parameter 등의 표준을 따르지 않고 다양한 유형의 임상정보데이터를 심사기관에 제출하고 있어 이로 인한 심사기간 증가와 심사업무 비효율성을 야기시키고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국제민간기구인 CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium)에서 제정한 글로벌 임상데이터 표준인 CDISC 표준을 준용한 국내 임상시험정보관리 체계 (eCTD 시스템)및 의약품 전주기적 관리체계를 제시하고자 하며, 본 연구를 통한 기대효과로는 국제표준의 임상정보관리 인프라 구축으로 인한 국내 신약개발 및 해외 진출 환경을 마련하여 글로벌 시장선점의 기회를 제공할 수 있고, 규제기관 차원에서는 의약품 허가, 심사업무의 효율성 증가는 물론 전주기적 의약품 안전관리체계를 마련할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • Today, information society is affected by new technologies including Electronic Commerce(EC), Electronic Data Interchange(EDI), Commerce At Light Speed(CALS ), multimedia and teleconferencing. Electronic Commerce is believed to be a field that will bring about a huge revolution of human life in the 21st century and thus its industry will give greatly influential effect on other industries In this paper, we have surveyed and studied through the internet and related materials for the development of framework of Electronic Commerce. It is required that we need the leading role of our government for the earlier activation of Electronic Commerce usage and have to establish the solid background of EC technology creation of our nation's originality and to activate the venture industry oriented for idea and technology rather than the industries in the form of larger enterprises. In conclusion, we have to expand our own ability of research and development to keep the continuous growth of our Electronic Commerce market and industries through the development of new product and prior acquisition of market as well as to expand the path of various technology aquisition by the strategic M&A and capital investment with the leading foreign enterprises.
