The terms electronic trade, electronic trading and electronic commerce are often used interchangeably, and refer to trading transactions conducted using electronic media. Electronic trade is business-to-business transactions in an industrial context, while electronic commerce refers to retailing and the consumer sector as well as mass marketing. The Electronic trade process is defined as a flow of information (documents) exchanged between enterprises and trade-related firms (shipping companies, foreign exchange banks, forwarders, etc.) in the course of implementing a series of export and import procedures. Electronic trading systems exploit information technology to improve the efficiency of communications and/or to alter the nature of inter-organizational transactions. Many studies exist about the adoption of inter-organizational systems (IOS) and electronic data interchange (EDI), but few focus on electronic trade. The literature on exporting companies's electronic trade adoption and implementation, although extensive, consists mainly of exploratory studies focusing on technological characteristics such as barriers, benefits and usage. The purpose of this study is to broaden this perspective by investigating the environmental, organizational and technological drivers of business-to-business e-commerce adoption.

The purpose of this study, based on domestic sample businesses using EDI systems, is to identify success factors, which affect adoption of EDI systems by domestic business entities. And this paper also intends to provide guideline important in the establishment and management of EDI systems based factors identified. The major contents of this research are as follow. This paper, first, tries to develop conceptual framework based on previous research to identify factors which affect successful adoption of EDI systems. Second, it intends to develop new version of survey questionnaire by referring to various survey questionnaires previously used by similar studies. Third, it also intends to the extent of each factor on the successful adoption and implementation of EDI systems, and examines proposed hypotheses.

We utilize Sloan Digital Sky Survey DR7 spectroscopic data of ~340 star forming galaxies in the Virgo cluster to investigate their chemical properties depending on the environments. The chemical evolution of galaxies is linked to their star formation histories (SFHs), as well as to the gas interchange in different environments. In this sense, galaxy metallicity could be an observable parameter providing information on the impact of the environment on the galaxy SFH and/or the galaxy gas content. Thus, we derived gaseous metallicity (e.g., oxygen abundance) of star forming galaxies located in different regions of the Virgo cluster using well-known empirical calibrations. We also estimated their star formation rate (SFR) using H alpha luminosity. Inorder to investigate the chemical properties of these galaxies, we examined relations between various parameters: metallicity vs. luminosity, SFR vs. luminosity, and metallicity vs. cluster-centric radius. From our results, we discuss environmental effects of cluster to the chemical properties of star forming galaxies.

Recently, the magnitude of electronic data interchange (EDI) document processing for the handling of port logistics is abruptly being increased. The existing system processes EDI documents in a script mode, but due to a complicated script preparation procedure and low document processing efficiency, it cannot meet the demand as the usage flow of documents increases. In this paper, an EDI electronic document processing system was designed and implemented in a document scanner and mapper, which are binary form electronic document processing tools and do not require script files during the conversion of extensible markup language (XML)-based electronic documents. This new system has the merits of XML features during reading and writing with improved speed, usage convenience, and good portability on systems when compared to the conventional ones.

The export/import processing systems of the foreign advanced port use the integrated database to increase the productivity of the users involved in the port and logistics activities. However all the port and logistics related organizations in Korea such as container terminal, customs, ministry of maritime affairs and fisheries, etc. are using their own databases, so it is very inconvenient to the users to process their export/import affairs. It is necessary to develop the integrated database for the port and logistics affairs to provide the one stop service to the port and logistics related users. So we have investigated and analyzed the databases of port and logistics related organizations, and recognized the users' various needs of information. And then we have suggested the conceptual architecture of integrated database for port and logistics, and proposed the strategies for successful development of the integrated database in this paper.

현재 기업 내의 정보 시스템들은 개별적이고 다양한 형태의 데이터베이스를 활용하여 업무적으로 발생하는 대량의 데이터를 저장하고 관리하고 있다. 이렇게 개별적으로 존재하는 데이터베이스에 저장된 데이터들을 교환 위해 기업들은 EAI, 데이터웨어하우징 등의 기술을 활용하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 기술들은 도입 비용 및 유지관리에 많은 비용을 요구할 뿐만 아니라 각 벤더들마다 요구하는 환경이 상이하다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 기술들의 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 기업 내에 분산되어 존재하는 관계형 데이터베이스간의 데이터를 교환하기 위한 방법으로 웹 서비스 기반의 RDB간의 데이터 교환 시스템을 설계한다. 웹 서비스를 사용함으로써 기업들은 기존의 웹 환경을 활용할 수 있으므로 도입 비용 및 유지관리 비용을 절감할 수 있고 XML 포맷을 사용함으로 플랫폼 및 시스템 환경, 사용언어에 독립적으로 데이터를 교환할 수 있다.

Network security should be first considered in a distributed computing environment with frequent information interchange through internet. Clear classification is needed for information users should protect and for information open outside. Basically proper encrypted database system should be constructed for information security, and security policy should be planned for each site. This paper describes access control, user authentication, and User Security and Encryption technology for the construction of database security system from network users. We propose model of network encrypted database security system for combining these elements through the analysis of operational and technological elements. Systematic combination of operational and technological elements with proposed model can construct encrypted database security system secured from unauthorized users in distributed computing environment.

본 논문은 인터넷과 통신매체의 확산과 더불어 최근에는 기업간, 기업과 정부간에 주로 정형적인 문서교환에 활용되던 초기의 EDI(Electronic Data Interchange)가 멀티미디어 정보교환이 가능한 인터넷의 보급, 확산과 함께 소비자를 대상으로 하는 전자상거래(EC : Electronic Commerce)로 급속히 확산되고 있으며, 이를 지원하기 위해 기업의 정보화 기반을 구현하는 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)도 요구되고 있다. 그러나, 전자상거래는 네트워크를 통하여 형성되므로 사용자들은 서로 만나지 않고 거래하게 된다. 이는 전자상거래의 장점이기도 하지만, 반대로 상호간의 신분에 대한 인증이 쉽지 않다는 단점이 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 위험을 방지하기 위한 보안기술 및 암호기술에 대해 연구하였다.

The pressure-jump relaxation method has been used to determine the rate constants for the formation and dissociation of maganese(Ⅱ), cobalt(Ⅱ), and nickel(Ⅱ) with some dicarboxylates in aqueous solution at zero ionic strength. The carboxylate ligands used are 3-nitrophthalate, 4-nitrophthalate, and phenylmalonate. The activation parameters have alse been obtained from the temperature dependence of the rate constants. A dissociative interchange mechanism with a chelate ring closure step as rate determining is employed to interpret the kinetic data of manganese(Ⅱ) and cobalt(Ⅱ) complexes. The rates of formation of nickel(Ⅱ) complexes are controlled by both the solvent exchange step and the chelate ring closure step.

CDISC 컨소시엄에서는 임상시험에서의 비효율적인 데이터 처리 과정을 개선하기 위해, 플랫폼에 독립적인 임상시험 데이터 표준을 정의하였다. 그러나, CDISC 표준은 여러 나라의 여러 기관이 함께 참여하는 다국가 임상시험에서 발생하는 임상시험 데이터를 다국어로 표현하는 방법에 많은 제약을 갖고 있다. 특히, CDISC가 제정한 표준 중 임상시험 데이터의 콘텐츠 및 포맷에 해당하는 SDTM(Study Data Tabulation Model)과 ODM(Operational Data Model)에서의 다국어 지원이 매우 미비하다. 본 논문은 CDISC의 SDTM과 ODM에서의 언어 설정에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위해, SDTM과 ODM 표준의 확장을 제안한다. 이를 위해 SDTM에서는 다국어 지원을 위한 새로운 도메인을 설계하였고, ODM에서는 ODM의 확장 스키마를 서브타이핑 방법으로 구현하였다. 확장 SDTM과 ODM을 기반으로 임상시험 데이터를 처리하면, 다국가 임상시험이 수행되는 경우 다국어로 표현된 임상시험 데이터도 효율적으로 처리할 수 있다.
