The device to device (D2D) communication is an important and emerging area for future cellular networks. It is concerned about all aspect of secure data transmission between end devices along with originality of the data. In this paradigm, the major concerns are about how keys are delivered between the devices when the devices require the cryptographic keys. Another major concern is how effectively the receiver device verifies the data sent by the sender device which means that the receiver checks the originality of the data. In order to fulfill these requirements, the proposed system able to derive a cryptographic key using a single secret key and these derived keys are securely transmitted to the intended receiver with procedure called mutual authentication. Initially, derived keys are computed by applying robust procedure so that any adversary feel difficulties for cracking the keys. The experimental results shows that both sender and receiver can identify themselves and receiver device will decrypt the data only after verifying the originality of the data. Only the devices which are mutually authenticated each other can interchange the data so that entry of the intruder node at any stage is not possible.

This study, drawing upon research in innovation theory and Information systems, investigates the relationship among the organizational and innovation characteristics and the extent of internal and external diffusion of EDI in Korean firms. The data for this study were collected from 131 firms that have implemented EDI. The results of the correlation and the multiple regression analysis show that elapsed time and organizational compatibility are the major predictors of EDI diffusion. Specifically, the extent of communication, elapsed time and organizational compatibility are the major predictors of internal diffusion, while centralization, organizational compatibility and elapsed time are closely related to external diffusion of EDI. The results of this study imply that to facilitate the use of EDI widely within and beyond organizations, EDI system should be compatibile with the organizational tasks, values systems and existing information systems.

We utilize Sloan Digital Sky Survey DR7 spectroscopic data of ~380 star forming galaxies in the Virgo cluster to investigate their chemical properties depending on the environments. The chemical evolution of galaxies is linked to their star formation histories as well as to the gas interchange in different environments. We derived star formation rate (SFR) and gaseous metallicity (e.g., oxygen abundance) of star forming galaxies. Combining with GALEX ultraviolet photometry and ALFALFA HI 21 cm data, we examine the relations between SFRs, metallicity, and HI deficiency of galaxies in various regions of the Virgo cluster. We also quantify the degree of ram pressure around galaxy using the ROSAT X-ray surface brightness map. We discuss environmental effects on the chemical properties and evolution of star forming galaxies.

Since the expressway was first opened in 1968 there has been continued demand for constructing new lines of expressway, and thus it amounts to 1,420.5km in total length as of 1984. As the expressway becomes to take up more important role in our country facing motorization traffic accidents have become more of social issues, although its accident rates are relatively low compared to those on general highways in Korea, which is among the highest in the world. The purpose of the study is to investigate the correlation between the traffic accident rates on the expressway and their geometric characteristics based upon 1982 data. In order to extract the correlationship among them on as much disaggregate basis, the study has carried out the analysis on the primary data aggregated on the 100 meter intervals. One of the important findings was, among others, the design criteria of the expressway should be reconsidered with respect to the radius of the curve, superelevation, climbing lane, composed gradients, interchange facilities, tunnels and so on.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between a number of companies goes on increasing on the internet. Although a conventional EDI system reduces business process efforts, time, resources, etc., important information is easily and frequently exposed by well trained hackers and crackers, which inflict a severe loss on the company and even put the company under a crisis. This study integrates the conventional EDI system and Virtual Private Net (VPN) to maximize an overall efficiency of speed and security in data transaction by the level of importance. The EDI system properly interfaced to IPSec and L2TP of VPN allows us to select two modes: the one focuses on a high speed with a low or a medium level security or the other does on a high level security with a low or a medium level speed. Both the company and the end users get a lot of tangible and intangible advantages by integrating the EDI system and VPN.

The coagulation process of PAN (poly(acrylonitrile)) wet-spinning was modeled and simulated based on the numerical analysis of the coagulation of a viscous polymer solution by diffusional interchange with a bath. Experiments were performed with gelled solutions of PAN in nitric acid to determine the diffusion rate of solvent and nonsolvent (water) during the coagulation. The experimental data were analyzed by using equations of diffusion coefficient which are the function of the solvent concentrations of the coagulation bath and the filament. The concentration profile of solvent in moving filament was predicted by solving the diffusion model equation numerically. A simplex method was used in the computation of the parameters of the diffusion equations to minimize the difference between the numerical results and experimental data.

EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) allows the exchange of business information and computer-processable data in a standard, structured format electronically between organizational entities. EDI handles the restructuring of a business document into the standard format so that it can be transmitted from one computer to another. This paper identifies features and technologies of web browsed electronic document exchange system as follows 1) the fundamental technologies that consists of the EDI technologies, the Internet/Web technologies, the security/authentication techniques, and the XML implementation technologies. 2) the functions that consists of the document standards, transfer technology of the document, encryption and authentication 3) the implemented Web-EDI systems that consists of document generation module, encryption and authentication module, transfer module, acknowledgement module, administration module. In this paper, the Web-based EDI system implemented from the researched technologies will be installed on the EDI servers owned by corporate customers and enable the exchange of documents between each installed companies.

네트워크의 발전과 함께 인터넷을 통한 기업 활동이 점차로 증가하면서 기업들간(B2B)에 실시간 데이터를 안전하게 서비스하기 위하여 여러 개의 시스템이 거미줄처럼 연계되고 있다. 전통적으로 기업들간에는 EOI(Electronic Data Interchange) 시스템과 독자적인 부가가치 통신(VAN, Value-Added Network)을 통한 데이터 교환방식을 사용했으나, 이 모델은 초기비용이 비쌀 뿐만 아니라, 데이터를 실시간 이벤트가 아닌 일괄작업(batch)으로 처리하였다. 그러나, 현재 B2B 간의 데이터 교환 및 상호 작용 방법으로 인터넷, XML, 그리고 메시징 시스템을 사용하고 있으며 특히, 메시징 시스템은 소규모의 시스템이 B2B에 참여하거나 탈퇴하는 비즈니스 작업의 어려움을 덜어준다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷상에서 이루어지는 B2B간의 데이터 교환 및 상호 작용을 위하여 메시징 시스템중 대표적인 JMS를 기반으로 안전한 데이터 교환 모델을 설계 및 구현한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서 제시하는 메시징 모델을 B2B 시스템에 적용하면 기업들간 안전한 메시지 전송을 보장할 수 있다.

본 연구는 고속도로 나들목의 접근성이 주변 아파트 지가형성에 미치는 영향 관계를 규명하기 위해서 서울외곽순환고속도로를 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석을 위해서는 데이터마이닝(CHAID분석), 추세선 분석(Trend Analysis) 등을 활용하여 고속도로의 나들목(IC) 주변 아파트가격과 관련된 지가경사 모형을 개발하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 고속도로 나들목이 위치한 지역별(외측 : 경기도, 내측 : 서울시)로 아파트 가격에 차이가 있으며, 일반적인 주택가격과 교통결절점이 가지는 선형 관계가 아닌 비선형적 관계(2차 다항식)를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, CHAID분석을 이용한 공간분포 검토 결과, 외측지역(경기도)의 경우 2.6km를 전후하여 2개의 상이한 공간분포를 가지며, 내측지역(서울시)의 경우 1.4km와 3.8km를 전후하여 3개의 상이한 공간분포를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 아파트 가격이 도로결절점(고속도로 나들목)으로부터 첫 번째 임계점까지 는 점차 상승하다가 일정거리 이후부터 서서히 감소하는 복합적인 공간분포를 가지는 것으로 나타나 교통접근성이 좋다고 하여 주택가격이 높지만은 않으며, 주거환경(고속도로 소음, 지역단절 등)과 교통접근성간의 상호 교환 작용(Trade Off Effect)에 의한 현상이라 할 수 있다. 향후 본 연구의 고속도로 나들목 주택가격 영향모형을 이용하여 고속도로 주변에 지속적으로 건설되고 있는 신도시 주택가격 산정에 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

For pneumatic valve system control, we need a serial data transmission system with high speed and reliability for information interchange between main computer and I/O devices. This paper presents a set of design techniques for a data communication system that is mainly used for pneumatic valve system control. For this purpose, we first designed hardware modules for an interface between central control module and local node that handles the operation of solenoid control valves. in addition, we developed a communication protocol for construction of rs-485 based multi-drop network and this protocol is basically designed with a kind of polling technique. Finally we evaluated performance of the developed system. the field test results show that, even under high noise environment, the data transmission of 375kbps rate is possible up to 1,500meter without using repeater. In addition, the system developed in this research is easily to be extended for a communication network because of its modular structure.
