  • The purpose of the study is to analyze the factors which cause the deviations of e-piracy. For this, empirical data were collected by conducing a field survey with a total of 531 collegians, and a Structural Equation Model was used for the purpose of analyzing the data acquired by that. A Structural Equation Model was designed and constructed by such factors as Anonymous Environment, Norm-Consciousness, and Recognition on Penalty, which are considered as the direct variables. In addition, the factor of Anonymous Environment was set as a variable for the factors of both Norm-Consciouness and Recoginition on Penalty. These are the results of the analysis; it is found that Anonymous Environment is the direct cause of e-piracy, but the other two factors are not statistically significant. And it is also found that Anonymous Environment gives a direct influence on the other factors of Norm-Consciousness and Recognition on Penalty and it also gives indirect influence on the factor of Recognition on Penalty by means of the factor of Norm-Consciousness. Therefore, in order to prevent e-piracy, it is required to provide the proper opportunity to be trained to observe norms under the environment of anonymity. For this, diverse and effectual teaching methods for information ethic education should be sought.

  • RFID (radio frequency identification) systems, recently being used in a wide range of areas, are vulnerable to relay attack from malicious attackers. For that reason, Brands, et al. proposed a certification protocol between a certifier and a verifier based on the concept of distance-bounding, and in addition Hancke et al. introduced the concept of RFID. However, the delivery of tag IDs, one of the main RFID features, is not still available, and there are two important demerits: anonymity in the delivery of tag IDs suggested by Kim et al. and inefficiency in finding a tag ID with regard to how to check errors which may occur in the process of data exchange between readers and tags. Therefore, this study proposes a protocol that meets the requirements of tag anonymity and location untraceability, has resistance to errors which may take place in the phase of tag data exchange, and is very efficient in finding tag IDs.

  • As the area of informatization has been expanding followed by the development of information communication technology, cloud computing which can use infra sources like server, storage, and network in IT area as an efficient service whenever and wherever skyrockets. But users who use cloud computing technology may have some problems like exposure personal data, surveillance on person, and process on commercial purpose on their personal data. This paper proposes a security technique which protect user's privacy by creating imaginary user information not to be used by other people. The proposed technique virtualizes user's information as an anonymity value not to let other people know user's identity by combining PIN code with it and guarantees user's anonymity. Also it can manage and certificate personal information that is important in cloud computing, so that it can solve security problem of cloud computing which centers all informations. Therefore this paper can assist upgrading of the level of information of poor SMBs through safe use of cloud computing.

  • In computer-mediated idea generation where contributions can be anonymous, the ability to accurately monitor performances is limited, inducing social loafing. Prior research has suggested that social loafing is likely an important factor in reducing task performance. Researchers have theorized that loafing could be minimized if clear performance feedback is provided. Our prior study evidences a substantial performance gain by the provision of real time performance information about who is contributing and who is not. However, our prior study incorporated the quantity feedback only to create a larger pool of ideas based on the long-standing assumption (i.e., quantity breeds quality), not considering the quality feedback. As a result, taking advantage of anonymity in the form of pseudonymity, individuals in almost all groups exhibited a tendency of self-presentation by capitalizing on ideas of which quality was low and even frivolous (i.e., junk comments) toward the later stages of the session. Thus, we have learned that the quantity performance feedback alone does not have enough restrictiveness to consistently control the performance behavior throughout the session. Since a process chart allows participants to monitor process variation by comparing new performance data to past performance data, we incorporated real-time visual process performance feedback to reveal performance histories by connecting the sequence of idea quality scores in a time-series format. Using this environment, a laboratory experiment was conducted with five-member groups that examined the influence of both identifiability (i.e., anonymity versus pseudonymity) and process performance feedback (i.e., yes or no) in a $2{\times}2$ factorial design. The result showed that groups in the process performance feedback treatment outperformed groups in the no feedback treatment. Additionally, process performance feedback and identifiability interacted such that groups in the process performance feedback/pseudonymity treatment had the highest performance. The implications of these findings for future research, as well as the implications for the design of group idea generation procedures are discussed.

  • In the current Internet system, there are many problems using anonymity of the network communication such as personal information leaks and crimes using the Internet system. This is why TCP/IP protocol used in Internet system does not have the user identification information on the communication data, and it is difficult to supervise the user performing the above acts immediately. As a study for solving the above problem, there is the study of Policy Based Network Management (PBNM). This is the scheme for managing a whole Local Area Network (LAN) through communication control for every user. In this PBNM, two types of schemes exist. As one scheme, we have studied theoretically about the Destination Addressing Control System (DACS) Scheme with affinity with existing internet. By applying this DACS Scheme to Internet system management, we will realize the policy-based Internet system management. In this paper, required functions in the PBNM Scheme for multiple domains as cyber physical system that utilizes data science and AI is examined.

  • Big Data is strictly positioning one of method to deal with problems faced with mankind, not an icon of revolution in future anymore. Application of Big Data and protection of personal information have contradictoriness. When we weight more to usage of Big Data, someone's privacy is necessarily invaded. otherwise, we care more about keeping safe of individual information, only low-level of research using Big Data can be used to accomplish public purpose. In this study, we propose a method to anonymize Big Data collected in order to investigate the problems of personal information infringement and utilize Big Data and protect personal. This will solve the problem of personal information infringement as well as utilizing Big Data.

  • De-identification is a method by which the remaining information can not be referred to a specific individual by removing the personal information from the data set. As a result, de-identification can lower the exposure risk of personal information that may occur in the process of collecting, processing, storing and distributing information. Although there have been many studies in de-identification algorithms, protection models, and etc., most of them are limited to structured data, and there are relatively few considerations on de-identification of unstructured data. Especially, in the medical field where the unstructured text is frequently used, many people simply remove all personally identifiable information in order to lower the exposure risk of personal information, while admitting the fact that the data utility is lowered accordingly. This study proposes a new method to perform de-identification by applying the k-anonymity protection model targeting unstructured text in the medical field in which de-identification is mandatory because privacy protection issues are more critical in comparison to other fields. Also, the goal of this study is to propose a new utility metric so that people can comprehend de-identified data set utility intuitively. Therefore, if the result of this research is applied to various industrial fields where unstructured text is used, we expect that we can increase the utility of the unstructured text which contains personal information.

  • As social interest in the metaverse increases, various metaverse platforms and services are appearing, and various security issues are emerging accordingly. In particular, since all activities are performed in a variety of virtual spaces, and the metaverse utilizes sensing data using various hardware devices, more information is accumulated than other Internet services, and more damage can occur if information security is not guaranteed. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a metaverse security model that considers the major issues mentioned in previous papers and the necessary evaluation factors for the security functions required in the metaverse platform. As a result of performing the performance evaluation of the proposed model and the existing attribute information collection model, the proposed model can provide security functions such as anonymity and source authentication, which were not provided by the existing models.
