  • 본 논문은 직접토크 제어에서 토크와 자속 오차에 따라 결정된 전압 벡터가 가지고 있는 자속 및 토크 출력 특성을 전압의 d-q 해석을 통해서 분석하고, 6섹터 방식과 12섹터 방식에서 각 전압에 의해 발생되는 토크 및 자속 특성을 회전자 위치에 따라 해석하였다. 또한, 전압벡터의 전압특성을 모의하기 위한 근사 전압함수를 제시하고, 근사전압함수를 통해 직접토크 제어 방식에서의 자속 및 토크 제어의 성능향상이 가능함을 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 연료전지 스택진단용 양방향 컨버터의 설계 및 제어기법을 제안한다. 스택진단용 컨버터는 교류전류 제어를 위한 양방향 DC/DC 컨버터를 사용하였으며 컨버터의 전류를 교류로 제어하기 위한 전류 제어기법이 요구된다. 정확한 전류 제어를 위해 d-q 변환을 통해 전류 제어를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서 사용한 제어기법을 통해 넓은 입력전압 범위에서도 충전, 방전으로 연료전지에 교류 전류를 공급하여 연료전지의 전압 변화를 확인함으로써 연료전지 스택의 상태를 진단할 수 있다. 제안하는 컨버터의 제어기법에 대한 타당성은 PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였으며 1.5kW급 스택진단용 양방향 DC/DC 컨버터의 설계 기법을 제안하였다.

  • In this paper, a fault detection algorithm for an UPS operation of power station is proposed. By adapting the algorithm, a grid-connected power station performs a UPS operation when faults such as sag, swell are occurred. Through a computer simulation, grid faults are simulated and the proposed fault detection algorithm using d, q axis observation method is verified.

  • This paper proposes a balancing control of DC-link voltages of a H-bridge multilevel inverter for STATCOM application. Individual DC link voltage is controlled by simply adjusting the d-q voltage reference through a PI controller in each cell while the main controller carries out the reactive power control. The correctness and effectiveness of the method are validated by PSIM simulation with unbalanced load condition data taken from a typical arc furnace load, showing the adverse effects of load unbalance to DC link voltage significantly suppressed.

  • Let $p_1$ and $p_2$ be two distinct odd primes with gcd($p_1-1$, $p_2-1$) = 6. In this paper, we compute the linear complexity of the first class two-prime Whiteman's generalized cyclotomic sequence (WGCS-I) of order d = 6. Our results show that their linear complexity is quite good. So, the sequence can be used in many domains such as cryptography and coding theory. This article enrich a method to construct several classes of cyclic codes over GF(q) with length $n=p_1p_2$ using the two-prime WGCS-I of order 6. We also obtain the lower bounds on the minimum distance of these cyclic codes.

  • 88 selective COX-2 inhibitors belonging to three chemical classes (triaryl rings, diaryl cycloalkanopyrazoles, and diphenyl hydrazides) were studied using comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) and comparative molecular similarity indices analysis (CoMSIA). Partial least squares analysis produced statistically significant models with q values of 0.84 and 0.79 for CoMFA and CoMSIA, respectively. The key spatial properties were detected by careful analysis of the isocontour maps. The binding energies calculated from flexible docking correlated with inhibitory activities by the least-squares fit method. (omitted)

  • Background: Nowadays, the encapsulation of cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agents is attracting interest as a method for drug delivery. We hypothesized that the efficiency of helenalin might be maximized by encapsulation in ${\beta}$-cyclodextrin nanoparticles. Helenalin, with a hydrophobic structure obtained from flowers of Arnica chamissonis and Arnica Montana, has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activity but low water solubility and bioavailability. ${\beta}$-Cyclodextrin (${\beta}$-CD) is a cyclic oligosaccharide comprising seven D-glucopyranoside units, linked through 1,4-glycosidic bonds. Materials and Methods: To test our hypothesis, we prepared ${\beta}$-cyclodextrin-helenalin complexes to determine their inhibitory effects on telomerase gene expression by real-time polymerase chain reaction (q-PCR) and cytotoxic effects by colorimetric cell viability (MTT) assay. Results: MTT assay showed that not only ${\beta}$-cyclodextrin has no cytotoxic effect on its own but also it demonstrated that ${\beta}$-cyclodextrin-helenalin complexes inhibited the growth of the T47D breast cancer cell line in a time and dose-dependent manner. Our q-PCR results showed that the expression of telomerase gene was effectively reduced as the concentration of ${\beta}$-cyclodextrin-helenalin complexes increased. Conclusions: ${\beta}$-Cyclodextrin-helenalin complexes exerted cytotoxic effects on T47D cells through down-regulation of telomerase expression and by enhancing Helenalin uptake by cells. Therefore, ${\beta}$-cyclodextrin could be superior carrier for this kind of hydrophobic agent.

The Prediction Method of the Small Strain Shear Modulus for Busan Clay Using CPT and DMT (CPT와 DMT를 이용한 부산점토의 최대전단탄성계수 추정방법에 관한 연구)

  • The is study is to evaluate the small strain shear modulus ($G_{max}$) of Busan clay using in-situ penetration tests. A series of dilatometer tests (DMT) and piezocone penetration tests (CPTu) are performed at Busan newport and Noksan sites, and hybrid oedometer tests are also carried out on the specimens obtained from both sites. The $G_{max}$ is evaluated from the shear wave velocity ($V_s$) measured by the bender elements installed at the boundary of oedometer cell. By analyzing these data, the relationship of $G_{max}$ and state variables, such as confined stress and void ratio, is developed. The analysis of lab and in-situ test results reveals that the ratio of $G_{max}$ to $q_t$ is inversely proportional to the plasticity index while the ratio of $G_{max}$ to $E_D$ has a linear relationship with ($I/I_D$)$(p_a/{\sigma}'_v)^{0.5}$. Two correlations suggested in this study, based on CPT and DMT results, appear to provide reasonable predictions of the small strain shear modulus.

  • Theoretical IPMSM control technique is complicated, and reliability is low because of the changing parameters. Further, in case of general look-up table designing method which obtains torque characteristics (according to current and speed) or torque characteristics (according to magnetic flux through the entire control region), obtaining a precise result can be difficult and has the disadvantage taking too much time to establish a current look-up table. In this paper, the new auto maximum torque point tracking (MTPT) algorithm that automatically finds the optimum stator d - q axis electric current reference through the entire speed region is devised; consequently, it could establish a 3D look-up table with torque characteristics according to current and speed. In case of using the devised auto MTPT algorithm, the result value detailed was obtained in comparison with the generalized look-up design technique, and checked to reduce the current look-up table establishment time.

Electrical Properties of (Ba,Ca)(Ti,Zr)O3 Ceramics for Bimorph-type Piezoelectric Actuator

  • In this study, lead-free $(Ba_{0.85}Ca_{0.15})(Ti_{1-x}Zr_x)O_3$ ceramics and a bimorph-type piezoelectric actuator were fabricated using the normal oxide-mixed sintering method, and their dielectric properties, microstructure, and displacement properties were investigated. From the results of X-ray diffraction, the pattern of the specimen has a pure perovskite structure. In addition, no secondary impurity phases were found. The excellent piezoelectric coefficient of $d_{33}=454pC/N$, the electromechanical coupling factor $k_p=0.51$, the dielectric constant ${\varepsilon}_r=3,657$, the mechanical quality factor $Q_m=239$, and $T_c$(Tetragonal-Cubic) =$90^{\circ}C$ were shown at x= 0.085. ${\Delta}k_p/k_p20^{\circ}C$ and ${\Delta}f_r/f_r20^{\circ}C$ showed the maximum value of -0.255 and 0.111 at $-20^{\circ}C$ and $80^{\circ}C$, respectively. The maximum total-displacement was $60{\mu}m$ under the input voltage of 50 V. As a result, it is considered that lead-free $(Ba_{0.85}Ca_{0.15})(Ti_{1-x}Zr_x)O_3$ ceramics is a promising candidate for piezoelectric actuator application for x= 0.085.
