우모를 이용한 taurine 강화 계란 생산

  • The experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of supplementary feather meal(FM) and its digest on the taurine content and performance of laying hens. Feeding trial was conducted with 810 78-wk-old ISA-Brown layers for 5wk. The experiment consisted of nine dietary treatments ; T1 ; control(basal diet), T2;Tl + feather meal(FM) 6 % diet, T3;T2 + pyridoxin(21 mg/kg) supplemented diet, T4; T1 + H$_2$O$_2$treated FM 6%, T5; T4 + pyridoxin(21 mg/kg) supplemented diet, T6; T1 + cystine(0.25 %) supplemented diet, T7; T6 + pyridoxin(21 mg/kg) supplemented diet, T8; T1 + synthetic taurine supplemented(0.25%) diet, T9; T1 + synthetic taurine supplemented(0.5 %) diet. Diets were formulated to be iso-caloric and to meet NRC(1994) requirements of essential nutriente. Birds in treatments T3 showed significantly higher(P<0.01) egg production, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, egg weight, haugh unit and eggshell strength than those fed other treatments. Supplementation of FM. H$_2$O$_2$treated FM and cystine with or without pyridoxin did not significantly affected taurine content of egg yolk. Only synthetic taurine supplemented diets(T8 and T9) linearly increased(P<0.01) taurine content of egg yolk.

Effect of De-hulling on Ileal Amino Acids Digestibility of Soybean Meals Fed to Growing Pigs

  • A study was carried out to determine the effect of de-hulling on apparent and true ileal amino acids digestibility of soybean meals for growing pigs. Twenty barrows (Duroc${\times}$Large white${\times}$Longer white) were fitted with a simple T-cannula at the distal ilium. Digestibility of 20 experimental diets was determined, nine of them were de-hulled soybean meal diets, and nine of them were regular soybean meal diets and two low protein casein diets for determination of endogenous amino acid correction for true digestibility determination. A TEX>$5<{\times}5<$ Latin Squares Design was adopted in this trail. The results showed that de-hulling increased apparent ileal digestibility of isoleucine, threonine, aspartic, tyrosine and indispensable and dispensable amino acid (p<0.05) in soybean meals. Furthermore, dehulling is also increased apparent digestibility of arginine, leucine, lysine, phenylalanine, alanine, glutamic acid, serine and gross amino acids (p<0.01). However, there were no significant differences found for histidine, methionine, tryptophan, cystine and glycine (p>0.05). Similar responses were found for true ileal digestibility. In three dehulled and non-dehulled pairs soybean meals from the same respective sources, de-hulling increased apparent digestibility of lysine, methionine, threonine and cystine 1.42%, 2.06%, 2.18% and 1.40% respectively. True digestibility of lysine, methionine, threonine and cystine was increased 1.65%, 1.94%, 2.30% and 1.82% respectively. A prediction equation for true ileal amino acid digestibility (including lysine and arginine) was established by multivariate linear regression. The independent variables included relevant amino acid, organic matter, crude protein, ether extract and nitrogen free extract. The coefficient R2 values of lysine and agrinine were 0.596 and 0.531 respectively. According to the crude protein content, a prediction equation for lysine and arginine content in soybean meal was also established by single linear regression. The coefficient $R^2$ values of lysine and agrinine were 0.636 and 0.636 respectively.

고들빼기 김치의 유기성분(有機成分)(I) - 유이(遊離)아미노산(酸)에 관(關)하여 - (Organic Constituents in Kimchis (Ixeris sonchifolia H.) -On free amino acids-)

  • 고들빼기를 멸치젓으로 김치담금하여 숙성중(熟成中)의 유이(遊離)아미노산(酸)을 분석정량(分析定量)하여 다음과 같은 결과(結果)를 얻었다. 원료(原料) 고들빼기의 잎과 뿌리에서 각각(各各) 8종(種)의 유이(遊離)아미노산(酸)을 정량(定量)하였으며, 뿌리에는 arginine, cystine, glutamic acid, 잎에는 arginine, valine, isoleucine, phenylalanine 등의 함량(含量)이 많았고 특(特)히 arginine은 잎 뿌리 모두 그 함량(含量)이 월등(越等)히 많았다. 총(總) 유이(遊離)아미노산량(酸量)은 잎이 뿌리의 약(約) 2.5배(倍)였다. 고들빼기 김치에서는 잎, 뿌리 모두 총(總) 15 종(種)의 유이(遊離)아미노산(酸)을 검출(檢出) 정량(定量)하였으며 잎, 뿌리 모두 threonine, glutamic acid, alanine, leucine, cystine의 함량(含量)이 많았다. 총(總) 유이(遊離)아미노산량(酸量)은 김치 잎이 9435.6mg%, 뿌리는 7079.1mg%로서 잎이 약(約) 5배(倍) 뿌리가 약(約) 11배(倍)로서 원료(原料)에 비(比)해 많은 증가(增加)를 보였다. 김치 액즙(液汁)에서는 총(總) 16종(種)의 유이(遊離)아미노산(酸)을 정량(定量)하였으며 그 중(中) threonine, glutamic acid alanine, cystine, leucine 등의 함량(含量)이 많았다.

8개월 여아에서 다발성 결석으로 진단된 시스틴뇨증 1례 (A Case of Cystinuria with Multiple Renal Stones in an 8-month-old Girl)

  • 8개월 여아가 지속적인 발열 및 다발성 요로 결석으로 입원하여 시행한 신장 초음파에서 오른쪽 신우 및 요관, 왼쪽 수질 부위의 다발성 요로 결석이 보였고, 자연 배출된 1 cm 크기의 결석이 100% 시스틴석으로 확인되었다. 소변 검사에서 시스틴을 비롯한 이염기 아미노산의 상승과 유전자 검사에서 SLC3A1의 c.1820del (p.L607fs)의 동형접합자로 확인되어 시스틴뇨증으로 진단되었다. 충분한 수분 섭취와 소변 알칼리화, 동물성 단백질 제한에도 불구하고 결석의 수와 크기가 증가하여 현재는 tiopronin으로 치료 중이다.

  • By means of the two-dimensional thin-layer chromatography, free amino acid components of the leaves of $Perilla\;frutescens\;B_{RITTON}$ have been examined and twelve spots have been detected by the coloration with ninbydrin reagent. These were found to be aspartic acid, asparagine, alanine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, leucine, glutamic acid, proline, threonine, histidine, cystine, and glycine, tentatively.

남매에서 발생한 Cystinuria (Cystinuria in Siblings)

  • Renal colic, hematuria, dysuria and stone passage were developed in younger brother (4 year 6 month old boy). But the elder sister (6 year old girl)had no specific symptoms and signs. The identification of the disease was proved by cyanide nitroprusside test and amino acid analysis of urine. In our patients the chromatographic amino acid patterns of urine showed remarkably increased excretion of cystine, ornithine, lysine, and arginine. They are managed by adequate hydration with Shohl solution for rendering the urine more alkaline, and alpha-mercaptopropionylglycine (Thiola).

담배연기의 평가를 위한 새로운 계수 (Quality Indexes for the Evaluation of Cigarette Smoke.)

  • For evaluating the cigarette smoke quality of nonblended and commercial cigarettes, four modified smoke quality indexes were deduced from considering the reactivity of the thiol group in cystine (SH value) with the cigarette smoke constituents, and from the maximum limited contents of tar. nicotine, and carbon monoxide for the less harmful cigarettes. These results were discussed with respect to correlation coefficients between the indexes and tar/nicotine ratio which had been known reliable for smoke quality evaluation. Among the three indexes, the SH/[(N/O.6) +($\frac{C+T}{8}$)] index was found to be the most reliable and applicable.

대두발아종자에 있어서 아미노산에의 유황결합에 관하여 (On the Sulfur-incorporation into amino acids in germinating Soy Beam seeds using Sulfate-$S^35$)

  • The sulfur-incorporation into amino acids in germinating Soy Bean seeds was studied with the aid of Sulfate-S35. Water imbibition and isotope absorption were almostly pararelled. On the radioautogram $S^35$ was detected in cysteic acids at 90 minutes. Cysteine, cystine and cysteic acid were appeared with radioactivity at 240 minutes after the infiltration of sulfate-$S^35$. Methione was not detected on the radioautogram in the range of 300 minutes. The radioactivity of $S^35$ was detected highly in free amino acids than hydrolyzates.

Ox-Red Cell Membrane 抗原의 免疫 反應 硏究: I. 抗原成分의 分析實驗

  • Ox-RBC로부터 Moddy法에 依하여 Ox-RCM抗原을 抽出하여 몇가지 分析을 實施하였다. Lyophilized 한 Ox-RCM protein의 化學的 分析 結果 total protein은 $55\\pm 1.3%$, total nitrogen은 9.2%, carbohydrate 8.5% 그리고 total acid soluble phosphorus는 $0.96\\pm 0.1%$였다. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis한 結果 Ox-RCM은 12 $\\sim$ 15個, Pre-VRS fraction은 8個 및 PHR 分劃은 9個의 pattern을 나타냈다. Amino acid의 分析 結果로 cystine이 4.93 $\\sim$ 3.72 moles/100 moles 이고 glycine이 最高로 26.7 $\\sim$ 13.5 moles/100 moles였고 最低로 methionine 이었으나 試料의 抽出方法에 따라 그 値의 變動을 볼 수 있다.

밀 및 자색고구마 가루의 제빵성에 대한 첨가제의 영향 (Effect of Certain Additives on Bread-Making Quality of Wheat-Purple Sweet Potato Flours)

  • 밀가루(80%)와 자색고구마가루(20%)를 이용한 복합분으로 고구마빵을 제조하기 위하여 L-ascorbic acid, potassium bromate, gluten, carboxy methyl cellulose 및 hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose 등의 물성개량제를 첨가하여 고구마빵의 제빵성을 비교.검토하였다. Alveograph에 의한 반죽특성은 물성개량제를 첨가함에 따라 P, L, W값이 증가하였으며, 특히 L-ascorbic acid, gluten, carboxy methyl cellulose 등의 영향이 컸다. 반죽의 표면구조는 산화제를 첨가한 경우 gluten의 얇은 막이 거의 관찰되지 않았고, gluten, carboxy methyl cellulose, hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose를 참가한 경우 전분입자의 형태는 비교적 선명하나 큰 전분입자를 중심으로 얇은 막으로 둘러싸여 있었다. 빵 내부색의 총체적인 차이를 구별할 수 있는 ΔE값은 첨가제에 의한 영향은 없었으며, 빵 내부의 물성은 최대하중치, 강도, 경도 특성치가 사용첨가제에 의해 감소하였으며, 탄성, 응집성의 특성치는 증가하였다. 빵 내부의 노화특성은 7일 냉장저장 결과 엔탈피($\Delta$H)값이 증가하였으나 각 첨가제 모두 노화지연 효과가 있었다. 빵의 부피도 첨가제를 사용함으로써 증가하였으며 특히 L-ascorbic acid, L-cystine, carboxy methyl cellulose 및 hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose 등의 효과가 좋았고, 관능검사결과 potassium bromate를 제외하고 전반적으로 제빵의 품질이 양호하였다.
