NATM 터널의 대심도 풍화대층에서의 지반거동 및 보강방법 (Ground Behavior and Reinforcing Methods of NATM Tunnel through Deep Weathered Zone)

  • This study analyzed ground settlement and ground stress depending on tunnel excavation and the ground reinforcing grouting methods for double line road tunnel through deep weathered zone. Diameter of double line road tunnel was approximately 12m and umbrella arch method and side wall reinforcing grouting were applied. The ring-cut split excavation method and CD-cut excavation method for excavation method were applied. Analysis of failure rate and vertical stress ratio show that the tunnel for which the height of the cover(H) was higher than four times the diameter, it can be considered a deep tunnel. Comparisons of various excavation and ground reinforcement methods were showed that CD-cut method results in lower surface and crown settlement, and lower failure rate than where using Ring-cut split method. In addition the side wall reinforcing grouting resulted in reduction of tunnel displacement and settlement.

국화 '백선'의 플러그 삽목시 삽수조건이 발근 및 절화생육에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Cutting Condition on Rooting and Growth of Cut Flower in Plug Cutting of Dendranthema grandiflorum 'Iwanohakusen')

  • 본 연구는 하국용으로 가장 많이 재배되고 있는 '백선' 품종의 플러그 묘 생산에 있어서 삽수의 조건이 묘의 지상부 생육과 발근 및 절화생육에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 실시하였다. 삽수에 부착된 엽수가 많을수록 묘의 지상부 생육과 발근이 양호하였다. 삽수 길이에 따른 지상부 생육에는 큰 차이가 없었으나, 발근은 삽수 길이가 5cm 이상인 처리에서 양호하였다. 삽수의 굵기가 굵을수록 지상부의 생체중이 무거웠으며, 굵기가 5.5 mm 처리에서 형성된 뿌리수가 가장 많았다. 삽수에 부착된 엽수가 많을수록 절화장이 길었고, 절화무게도 무거웠다. 삽수의 길이가 7~11 cm 처리에서 절화장, 절화무게, 엽수, 설상화수 등 절화의 생육이 양호하였다. 삽수 굵기가 5.5 cm 처리에서 다른 처리에 비해 절화 생육이 우수하였다. 띠라서 '백선' 플러그 묘 생산시 굵기가 5.5 mm 정도의 7cm 길이의 삽수에 잎을 4장 부착하여 삽목하는 것이 묘의 생육 및 발근에 효과적이고, 정식 후 절화의 생육에도 적합하였다.

Assessing the Adequacy of Superficial Temporal Artery Blood Flow in Korean Patients Undergoing STA-MCA Anastomosis

  • Objective : Superficial temporal artery (STA)-middle cerebral artery (MCA) anastomosis is conducted for flow augmentation. In this study, we measured the STA cut flow of a Korean population and evaluated the relationship between STA cut flow and long-term patency of the bypass. Methods : A retrospective study was conducted. Intraoperative measurement of STA flow was conducted using a microvascular flow meter on patients who underwent STA-MCA. After cutting the distal end, the STA flow rate was measured with no resistance and recorded. After finishing anastomosis, STA flow was measured and recorded. The cut flow index was calculated by dividing post anastomosis flow by cut flow in intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis patients. Results : The median STA cut flow was 35.0 mL/min and the post anastomosis flow was 24.0 mL/min. The cut flow of STA decreased with aging (p=0.027) and increased with diameter (p=0.004). The cut flow showed no correlation with history of hypertension or diabetes mellitus (p=0.713 and p=0.786), but did correlate a positively with history of hyperlipidemia (p=0.004). There were no statistical differences in cut flow, STA diameter, and post anastomosis flow between the frontal and parietal branches (p=0.081, p=0.853, and p=0.990, respectively). Conclusion : The median STA cut flow of a Korean population was 35 mL/min. Upon reviewing previous articles, it appears that there are differences in the STA cut flow between Western and Asian patients.

신경망 최적화 기법을 이용한 다익 홴/스크롤 시스템의 설부에 대한 형상 최적화 (Shape Optimization of Cut-Off in a Multi-blade Fan/Scroll System Using Neural Network)

  • In order to improve efficiency of a system with three-dimensional flow characteristics, this paper presents a new method that overcomes three-dimensional effects by using two-dimensional CFD and neural network. The method was applied to shape optimization of cut-off in a multi-blade fan/scroll system. As the entrance conditions of two-dimensional CFD, the experimental values at the positions out of the inactive zone were used. The distributions of velocity and pressure obtained by two-dimensional CFD were compared with those of three-dimensional CFD and experimental results. It was found that the distributions of velocity and pressure have qualitative similarity. The results of two-dimensional CFD were used for teaming as target values of neural network. The optimal angle and radius of cut-off were determined as 71$^{\circ}$and 0.092 times the outer diameter of impeller, respectively. It is quantified in the previous report that the optimal angle and radius of cut-off are approximately 72$^{\circ}$and 0.08 times the outer diameter of impeller, respectively.

A New Gerbera Cultivar "Pink Swan"; High-yielding Cultivar with Pink and Semi-double for Cut-flower

  • A new gerbera variety "Pink Swan" was released by the National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI) in 2007. A cross was made between "Royal" with orange and single and 'Himalaya' with white and semi-double in 2004. After investigation of the characteristics for 4 years (from 2004 to 2007), it was selected specially for the use of cut-flower. "Pink Swan" is a vigorous medium-sized cultivar with pink (RHS R48D), yellow green center and semi-double. The average flower diameter is 10.6 cm. And inner ray floret and disc diameter is 5.99cm and 1.83cm, respectively. It produces a large yield with continuous supply of flowers and has adequate peduncle height. We believe that "Pink Swan" has a great potential for expanding cultivated area of domestic gerbera cultivar and increasing farmers-income.

A cross was made between 'Gold Finger' with yellow and single and 'Yellow Springs' with yellow and spider in 2004. 백합의 품종 및 구근크기가 절화품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Bulb Circumference and Cultivar on the Cut Flower Quality in Lily.)

  • 본 연구는 고품질 절화백합 생산을 하기 위해 실제 유통 중인 7품종을 구주를 달리 하여 식재하고, 채화 후 구주와 품종이 절화품질에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 수행하였다.절화품질을 측정한 결과, 화뢰장은 'Medusa', 품종, 절화장은 'Mother's Choice' 품종에서 가장 긴 것으로 확인되었다. 줄기휨각도는 'Mother's choice' 품종과 'Ismael' 품종을 제외한 모든 품종이 $30^{\circ}$ 이상으로 나타났다. 화경장, 화서장, 경경, 꽃 수, 중량 모두 구주가 클수록 좋은 결과를 보였다. 절화품질 중 화뢰장, 절화장, 꽃 수에 영향을 미치는 요인은 구주의 크기이며, 휨각도는 품종과 구주의 크기 모두 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이와같이 절화품질은 품종보다는 구주에 영향을 받으며 크기가 커질수록 좋은 결과가 나타나는 것으로 확인되었다.

소형 집진기용 접선식 및 축류식 사이클론 성능비교 (Comparison of Tangential and Axial Flow Cyclones for Small Dust Collectors)

  • The tangential and axial cyclones were fabricated using a 3D printer and the total collecting efficiency, cut-diameter, and pressure drop characteristics of the two types of cyclones with the same inlet area were investigated experimentally. The results show that the total collecting efficiency tends to increase as the inlet velocity increases. However, at a 20m/s condition of the tangential cyclone, the collected particles were re-entrained to the ascending vortex flow, resulting in a decrease of the total collecting efficiency. In the axial cyclone, the cross-sectional area is designed to increase at the inlet and the velocity is reduced, so that the re-entrainment effect does not appear in this study. The pressure loss of the tangential cyclone was larger than that of the axial cyclone. The cut-diameter tends to decrease with increasing the inlet velocity in two types of cyclones, except for the 20m/s condition of the tangential cyclone.

삽지각도와 Sucrose 농도가 절화 장미의 수명과 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of arranging Angles and Sucrose Concentration on Vase life and Quality of Cut Rose 'Marina')

  • 본 연구는 장미의 절화수명 연장과 품질을 향상시키기 위한 목적으로 삽지각도, sucrose 전처리 시간 그리고 sucrose 농도가 절화수명에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해서 수행하였다. Sucrose soaking 처리시 sucrose 농도는 0.5, 1 및 2% 그리고 sucrose pulsing 처리시 sucrose 농도는 0, 1, 2, 및 4%를 이용하였다. Sucrose pulsing처리는 2 hrs 및 20 hrs 전처리 한 다음 실험을 수행하였다, 시험관에 100 mL씩 각각의 보존용액을 채운 후 삽지각도는 수평($0^{\circ}$), 수직($90^{\circ}$) 그리고 중간정도($45^{\circ}$)를 유지하여 실험을 수행하였다. Sucrose soaking 처리시 sucrose 농도와 각도에 따라서 꽃잎의 개화가 영향을 받은 것으로 보아 절화수명 연장을 위해서는 sucrose 농도를 높게 하고 각도를 수직으로 유지하는 것이 좋을 것으로 사료된다. 그리고 sucrose pulsing 2hrs 및 20 hrs 전처리 후, 삽지각도 $45^{\circ}$ 처리구에서는 개화가 지연되고 색상의 유지가 양호하였으나 $90^{\circ}$ 처리구에서는 조사 시작일 부터 개화가 빠르게 진행되고 색상도 빠르게 변색이 진행되므로 절화수명연장의 측면에서 삽지각도 $90^{\circ}$는 바람직하지 못한 것으로 사료된다.
