Effects of Traditional Firms' Agility Obtained by Adopting Internet Business on Corporate Image and Customer Satisfaction

  • Agility is vital to real-time enterprises in comtemporary dynamic business environment. This study aims to investigate the relationships between traditional shipping and port logistics firms' customer agility obtained by adopting Internet business, and their corporate image and customer satisfaction. Using questionnaire data, factor analyses were used to figure out five major agility factors, corporate image factor, and customer satisfaction factor. The agility factors were then used to investigate how they improve the firms' corporate image and customer satisfaction. The results of the regression analyses show that agility factors significantly influence the firms' corporate image and customer satisfaction factors.

외식업체 고객의 서비스 품질 기대도/만족도가 고객 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Customer Expectations & Satisfaction on Customer Loyalty in Restaurants)

  • Service quality has become an important factor to meet customer satisfaction in the food service industry where competition is getting severe. Organizations are focused upon strengthening customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. Therefore, this study, taking customers as subjects, is intended to analyze factors affecting customer loyalty, on the basis of service quality satisfaction. In doing. so, the analysis has been done with 232 customers who are purchasing service from the food services industry, for general information, and service quality expectation, service quality satisfaction and overall satisfaction. The results of the study are as below. 1) From a factor analysis, the service quality expectation level of customer has been categorized into 4 factors, which are named General ′General management ′, ′Food′, ′Reliability′and ′Reputation′. 2) From the factor analysis, the service quality satisfaction level of customer has been categorized into 6 factors, which are named ′Employee attitude′, ′Food′, ′Reliability′, ′Atmosphere′, ′Reputation′ and ′Price′. 3) After classifying customers into 3 groups according to two criteria-"will buy the service again" and "will suggest to others", a comparison has been done for the service quality expectation dimension of customers by each customer group. The result shows that the group having both the "will buy the service again" and "will buy the service again "and "will suggest to others" criteria, that is, with higher customer loyalty, tend to have higher point than other group in factors of ′Food′, ′Reliability′, ′Reputation′(p〈.05). 4) As per the dimension of customer\`s service quality satisfaction level, factors like ′Employee attitude′, ′Food′, ′Reliability′, ′Atmosphere′, ′Reputation′, and ′Price′have shown differences according to each loyalty group(P〈.001). 5) Customers′overall satisfaction level according to each customer loyalty group has been found to be more important for the group having a higher loyalty level(p〈.001) 6) From the discriminant analysis with employing judging variables, such as the customer′s service quality expectation level, service quality satisfaction level and general satisfaction level, customer loyalty groups have been identified as accurately as 68.9% of the explanatory power.

Measurement of the Internet Banking Customer Satisfaction using Structured Equation Model

  • This study has conducted to measure the internet banking customer satisfaction using structured equation model. Data was collected by e-mail system. Among survey panel who had experience of using Hanwha-Bank internet banking service, final samples were 2,848 respondents. The results showed that usage convenience and economy factor was most correlated with customer satisfaction. And we found that word-of-mouth behavior was affected customer satisfaction.

서울.경기지역 일식체인 레스토랑의 선택속성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Customer's Selection Attributes for Japanese Chain Restaurants in Seoul.Kyunggi Area)

  • The specific purposes of this study are that ; 1) to investigate the distinguished selection attributes on performance of Japanese chain restaurant according to general characteristics of the respondent ; 2) to find out relationships between selection attributes on performance for Japanese restaurant and customer's satisfaction Frequency analysis. one-way ANOVA, reliability analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression were used to analyze the data. Total 350 questionnaires were distributed and 312 were replied(89.14%). Selection attributes on performance for Japanese chain restaurant was divided into 7 factors. There are Factor1 'Store Image & Kindness', Factor2 'Sanitation & Taste', Factor3 'Approximation & Children's Menu', Factor4 'Delivery & Business Hours', Factor5 'Food Quantity & Korean Food', Factor6 'Service & Parking' Factor7 'Price & Publicity'. Monthly income, eating-out expense per once and type of companion have significant influences on selection attributes for performance. Customer's total satisfaction is significantly affected by selection attributes on performance. Factor7 'Price & Publicity' has the most significant influence on customer's satisfaction. We expect that the results can be used to provide basic information to plan marketing strategies, and take improved customer's satisfaction for Japanese chain restaurants.

남성 캐쥬얼 웨어 점포의 서비스품질에 따른 고객만족과 관계 마케팅 (Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Marketing according to Service Quality of Men's Character Casual Clothing Brand Stores)

  • This study had a focus on service quality, customer satisfaction and relationship orientation. The subjects of this study were: 1) to examine the conceptual structure of service quality perceived by males consumers of character clothing brands, 2) to examine of the service quality on customer satisfaction, and 3)to examine relationship between customer satisfaction and relationship orientation. The questionnaire was collected between October, 28 and November, 8 in 2002. Samples of 271 respondents were obtained. The sample consisted of males in their twenties and thirties who had a experience on buying character clothing brands in Seoul. To analyze the data, reliability analysis, percentage, frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were applied. The results were as followings: 1) As a result of factor analysis, the service quality were identified by four dimensions: environmental service, personal service, products service, and promotion service. 2) As a result of correlation analysis and regression analysis, the service quality had a positive influence on customer satisfaction. Especially products service was the most important factor for customer satisfaction, followed by environmental service. 3) As a result of correlation analysis, customer satisfaction had a positive influence on relationship orientation.

스마트폰 구매의 영향요인과 소비자 인식과의 관련성 연구 (Empirical Study on Relationship between Influential Factor in Smartphone Purchase Consumer Awareness)

  • This study is aimed at considering the relationship between the influential factor in Smartphone purchase and consumer awareness. For this purpose, this study set up the influential factors in Smartphone purchase as advertising effect, brand effect and usability effect and corporate image effect, and considered the relationship between these influential factors and consumer awareness empirically. The research results can be summarized as following 3 parts: First, the four factors suggested as the influential factor in Smartphone purchase were verified to have a significant influence on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, and thus, it is thought that the bigger the influence of these factors, the more customer satisfaction and customer loyalty will increase. Second, among the factors suggested as influential factors in Smartphone purchase, the biggest factor in influencing customer satisfaction was found to be 'Usability Effect' while the biggest factor in influencing customer loyalty was revealed to be 'Brand Effect.' As a result, this study could learn that it's necessary that 'Usability Effect' should be considered more preferentially than other factors in order to enhance customer satisfaction while 'Brand Effect' should be preferentially considered in orderto raise customer loyalty. Third, it can be judged that in the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, the bigger the customer satisfaction, the higher the customer loyalty. It is hoped that such research results could be applied as useful materials in time of establishing the marketing strategy. Nevertheless, this paper makes it clear that due to the constraints in the number of sample areas and samples, there is a limit in objectifying the research results into all areas.

패밀리 레스토랑의 이미지가 만족, 신뢰 및 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on Influence of Family Restaurant Image on Satisfaction, Trust and Revisit Intention)

  • This study conducted to analyze the causal relationships among image factors (brand, store, enterprise) of family restaurants, customer satisfaction, customer trust, and revisit intention as perceived by 271 customers, who have visited a family restaurant located in Ulsan and Busan regions. Present study performed frequency analysis, factor analysis, customer trust analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple (simple) regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 statistical program. The analysis results indicated that the image of family restaurants had significant positive (+) influences on customer satisfaction, customer trust, and revisit intention, among which the biggest influential factor was found to be the store factor. Significant influence was shown for brand image followed by corporate image. In addition, customer satisfaction and customer trust had significant positive (+) influences on revisit intention. As a result of this study, store image among family restaurant images appeared as the most important element; hereupon, this study considers that it is necessary for a family restaurant to build a differentiated image to increase revisit intention by satisfying customer needs and by encouraging customers to have trust in the restaurant.
