Based on the rapid development of information technology (IT) including networks, manufacturing environment faces more customer engagement, global collaboration, greater emphasis on agility, increasing reach and connectivity through world-wide web, and micro transaction tracking and intelligence to name a few. The new ideas of manufacturing concept, eManufacturing is discussed in view of IT. In specific, a framework to identify. IT application in the product realization process and collaboration and coordination to implement eManufacturing is proposed.

Since establishment some 25 year ago, AMITA Corporation has continued its attempts in meeting customer needs, in reducing costs for waste treatment. The solutions we have proposed in the past made use of our networks entailing Japan as well as the East Asian region. However, as enterprises have changed their perspective approaching environmental issues recently, as needs diversify, AMITA too has been changing its strategy to incorporate the use of Information Technology to provide consulting services. AMITA has set its goals in promoting modernization of the waste treatment industry, and optimizing the recycling market to reduce environmental impacts.

In this paper, the queueing system in series is studied. The system is a tandem queueing system which has three stations. In system, one service station has a general distributions and two service stations have exponential distribution. Each station has a single server. The customer arrives with Poisson process and is serviced sequentially. It is assumed that the order of stations does not affect the quality of services. Using the light traffic approximations, the optimal order of the system which has the three stations is decided.

To come true, Korean ports developments policies are better off going towards integrated governmental supportive system build-up, activated infra-structures, back-yard developments, legal and institutional system, international co-ordination networks system, customer-oriented port management system like one-stop services, and multi-variate financing resources. Above all, Related governmental institutions strongly have self-confidences and devotional efforts to make them all implemented not losing own way.

In this paper the functional requirements of a B-ISDN access network based on MAN are investigated. Firstly, criteria of designing access network for the B-ISDN is studied. Secondly, the types of subscribers and their service requirements are defined. Thirdly, various architectures of CPNs(Customer Premises Networks) are considered and their characteristics are studied, Finally, the interworking functions of a DQDB MAN as an access network are investigated.

The accelerated growth of the internet and the enormous amount of data availability has become the primary reason for machine learning applications for data analysis and, more specifically, pattern recognition and decision making. In this paper, we focused on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter and collected the comments in order to apply neural networks to classify the projects based on the sentiments of backers. The power of customer reviews and sentiment analysis has motivated us to apply this technique in crowdfunding to find timely indications and identify suspicious activities and mitigate the risk of money loss.

In this paper, we describe implementation of personal media gateway (PMG) for applications over BcN networks. PMG is a TV based set-top terminal, which enables transmission of Full D1 high quality video and audio at the speed of maximum 2Mbps. It supports SIP protocol and QoS for the BcN networks. The hardware of the PMG consists of host module, audio/video codec processing module, DTMF module, and remote control I/O module. H.263 and MPEG4 software are implemented in DSP as codec for hi-directional communication and streaming, respectively. G.711 and Ogg-Vorbis are implemented as audio codec. We examined the quality of video using the Video Quality Test Equpment, which was developed by KT Convergence Lab. The experimental results show the video quality of MOS 4.1 and audio quality of MOS 4.3. We expect that PMG will be prospective business models, and create new customer value.

최근 GIS를 이용한 관망 DB화가 빈번히 이루어지고 있으나 관망해석 모형과의 연계는 미흡한 실정이다. 그 주된 이유는 이들 DB가 관망해석 모형에서 요구하는 전문적인 공간정보의 작성에 어려움이 있기 때문이다. 그로 인해, 배수관망도의 작성과 이의 정확도 향상을 위하여 공간자료를 구축할 수 있는 GIS 기법 적용이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 배수관망 수리해석 모형구축에 필요한 제반 공간자료를 GIS를 이용하여 손쉽게 작성할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한, 관망해석모형의 계산결과를 활용하여 상수관로 위치의 공간적인 적정성(노후도 분석, 표고별 수압분포, 수용가 관리를 위한 유량공급의 분석 등)을 판단할 수 있도록 하였다.

고객관계관리는 치열한 경쟁환경에서 각 기업이 생존하기 위해 반드시 필요한 하나의 기업전략이 되었다. 고객관계관리의 방법은 다양하지만 가장 기본적인 방법은 특정 고객이 어떤 상품 혹은 상품군을 구매할 것인지를 정확히 예측하는 것이다. 이미 국내외 실무현장에서 전통적인 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용한 고객구매예측모형이 널리 적용되고 있다. 하지만 전통적인 기법의 경우, 정확도가 상대적으로 떨어지거나 혹은 모형의 구축 및 유지관리가 어렵다는 문제가 종종 제기되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존 모형의 문제점을 개선하기 위한 대안으로, 매우 높은 예측력을 나타내면서 동시에 일반화 능력이 우수한 것으로 알려진 Support Vector Machine(SVM)을 이용하여 고객구매예측모형을 구축하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 고객구매예측의 도구로써 SVM의 적합성을 판단하기 위하여 전통적인 기법인 로지스틱 회귀분석, 인공신경망과 그 성과를 비교하였다. 그 결과, SVM이 다른 기법들에 비해 상대적으로 우수한 성과를 나타냄을 확인할 수 있었다.
