레스토랑 고객의 선택 속성에 관한 실증적 연구 (A Study on the Choice Properties of Restaurant Customer's Characteristics)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the properties of restaurant customer's choice and to present the desirable service of restaurants. The experimental data were collected from the questionnaire answered by 182 restaurant customers in Seoul. One-way ANOVA and $x^2$(Chi-square) verification analysis were performed with the SPSS WINDOW 10.0 program to investigate statistical significance of the data. As the results, it was revealed that the food factor was most important when the customers choose a restaurant. And then, the importance of the choice properties was in the following order, that is, the food factor, the hygiene and cleanness factor, the employee's service factor, the visiting convenience factor, the indoor mood factor, the menu factor, the amenity factor for children. In addition, it was confirmed that some choice properties of the customers are dependent on the general characteristics such as sex, age, occupation, income etc. Therefore, it is essential that restaurants should provide various services related with the choice properties by understanding the choice properties according to the customer's characteristics.

병원선택 요인이 고객만족과 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Hospital Choice Factors on Customer Satisfaction and Revisiting Intention in General Hospitals)

  • 본 연구는 병원 이용자의 병원선택요인이 고객만족과 재이용의도에 미치는 영향을 체계적으로 분석하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다. 가설 검증을 위해 부산, 울산, 경남지역 3개 종합병원을 이용한 외래환자 및 보호자를 대상으로 2014년 6월 1일부터 6월 28일까지 4주간 직접 설문조사를 통해 519부의 자료를 수집하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 병원선택요인 중 인적요인, 접근성요인, 대외이미지요인은 고객만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 물리적요인, 효율성요인은 고객만족에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 병원선택요인 중 대외이미지요인이 재이용의도에 유의한 영향을 보였으며, 고객만족 또한 재이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해, 병원경영진이 환자만족도와 재이용의도를 높여 궁극적으로 수익성의 제고로 연결시키기 위해서는 경영전략의 수립 시 병원선택에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들의 역학관계를 고려하는 것이 매우 중요함을 시사해 주고 있다.

  • Purpose - As the domestic coffee market is rapidly growing and competition is intensifying, coffee shops need to establish a marketing strategy that grasps the needs and desires of consumers in order to secure a competitive advantage in terms of survival. From this point of view, this study suggests what choice attributes consumers consider when visiting coffee shops, and analyzes the effect of customer choice attributes on franchise and private coffee shops using fsQCA. Research design, data, and methodology - In the present study, we tried to understand the effect of the combination of choice attribute on satisfaction by the type of coffee shop based on the complex system theory, while studying the existing coffee shop choice attribute focuses on the causal relationship. FsQCA is a complementary analytical method between quantitative and qualitative research, and is a method for effectively analyzing the complex combination of causal variables. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, cleanliness was found to be the most important factor in determining coffee quality, which is the most important factor affecting customer satisfaction. Second, customers who prefer franchise coffee shops seem to be most concerned about atmosphere, menu, cleanliness and price. On the other hand, customers who prefer private coffee shops consider image the most important. Conclusions - The implications of this study are as follows. Overall, coffee shops should manage cleanliness basically regardless of the type of store, but they should manage the choice attributes differently depending on the type of coffee shop. Franchise coffee shops will be able to increase the level of store satisfaction by systematically managing the store atmosphere, menu, cleanliness, and price according to the manual using the advantages of the franchise system. On the other hand, unlike the franchise coffee shops, private coffee shops can operate autonomous stores, so customers can use various marketing mixes to enhance their store image.

Critical Factors Affecting the Choice of Logistics Service Provider: An Empirical Study in Vietnam

  • The trend of globalization leads an increased need for international freight transportation and accelerates the development of the international logistics industry. The objective of this paper is to identify the critical factors that affect the choice of logistics service provider (LSP). The data sample was collected through a questionnaire, responded by 218 companies that outsource logistics services. The analysis uses descriptive statistics; exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and regression analysis were conducted with SPSS. The role of capabilities, customer service, and company reputation were evaluated and tested. Our findings show that capabilities and customer service have a considerable impact on the choice of LSP. The findings also indicate that company reputation do not have significant impact on the choice of LSP. They also showed that the capabilities is the variable that has the most significant effect on the choice of LSP. An implication of this study is that the competition should not only focus on pricing, but should be extended to improving enterprises capabilities, i.e., upgrading human resources, modernizing the modes of transportation, expanding business geographically and developing new technologies. Our study provides LSP managers with insights into how to meet customer expectations in the competitive logistics service sector.

건강지향 메뉴선택속성이 웰빙레스토랑 고객 행동의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 음식관여도, 신뢰의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (The Effects of Health-related Menu Choice Attributes on Customer Behavioral Intentions at Well-being Restaurants - The Moderating Roles of Food Involvement and Trust -)

  • This study aimed to identify the effects of health-related menu choice attributes on customer behavioral intentions at well-being restaurants and analyze the moderating effects of food involvement and trust, which can influence customer preference and their intentions to visit well-being restaurants. This study designed a survey, and 351 respondents who have eaten at well-being restaurants completed the questionnaire. Exploratory factor analyses were conducted to identify underlying dimensions related to health-related menu choice attributes, food involvement, and customer behavioral intentions toward well-being restaurants. The three factors regarding health-related menu choice attributes and the three factors related to food involvement were identified. In order to test the relationships between health-related menu choice attributes and behavioral intentions as well as to investigate the moderating effects of food involvement and trust, hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. Results indicated that the three factors of health-related menu choice attributes were significantly and positively related to behavioral intentions. Among food involvement factors, dining environment and cooking were significantly related to behavioral intentions toward well-being restaurants. Trust had a significant influence on behavioral intentions. Results showed that food involvement and trust could moderate the effects of health-related menu choice attributes on behavioral intentions toward well-being restaurants.

병원 선택 특성과 보안성 및 병원 서비스 품질 특성이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Characteristics of Hospital Choice, Security and Hospital Service Quality Characteristics on Revisiting Intent)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of characteristics of hospital choice and hospital service quality on service value, customer satisfaction and hospital revisiting intent and a survey involving patients and their caregivers who used the hospital before was conducted for empirical analysis. Thus, the theory and factors concerning the characteristics of hospital choice, hospital service quality, service value, customer satisfaction and hospital revisiting intent and relevant preceding research were explored after examining the preceding research, the research model was developed accordingly. A total of 459 collected questionnaires were analyze after carrying out the survey on a national scale. The findings of this study have significance since it identified the motivation that affect the choice of hospital and provide information. Also, this study could be utilized as reference data for hospitals to survive in the fierce competition, as it carried out factual survey on considerations when making choice of hospital. Furthermore, due to the low expectation of patients and caregivers for hospital administration, the study indicated that it's linked to a significantly low chance of customer satisfaction and provide the cause. This study was differentiated with other research on hospital choice since it selected security as a factor of hospital choice, though it's not discussed in the preceding research and moreover, conducted the empirical analysis. And the results of empirical analysis revealed that customers felt that service value was improved when the information security was strengthened. In other words, the strengthening of hospital information security could be hospital choice motivation, which means this study provided practical implication.

  • AS the number of tourist has been increased. hotel industry will be able to not be existed and developed if not adapted to the need of customer's which is changed according to the change of Hotel's function. Traditionally. F&B department is enlarged compared to the past. But. it cause negative result in terms of clear profit. A menu is a marketing tool which delivers restaurant's image aid message to customers and communicate need and wants to restaurant. So far, studies on menu have been done in an analytical way from a management's viewpoint and inadequate to reflect customer's need and wants. A research on customer's menu selection procedure is critical to satisfying their needs and wants yield profit. This study examined the theories on menu-design and customer behavior through literature review and verified hypotheses through an empirical analysis. A questionnaire-survey had been used in luxury hotel's main grills and all most restaurants in Seoul. Collected data were analyzed. using SPSS/PC+ package. The important findings are as follows. In this study is to examine the factors that have an influence on customer's menu selection. The factors affected the customers' menu selection of hotel restaurant in the four factors. Four factors are hotel's restaurant of environmental factor. menu-choice factor. value of menu items, information. Correction between the evaluation criteria and selection of menu was examined. All four evaluation criteria, menu-choice factor was found to be most strongly collected with selection of menu. In conclusion, As a study on the Customer' menu Selection Behavior factor of Restaurant Menus in Hotels, It raises to exert us in the menu management of hotel restaurant.

저비용항공사 선택 속성에 관한 시장전략 (Market Strategy for Low Cost Carrier of Selection Attributes)

  • Purpose - As more low cost carriers are introduced, the competition between the low cost carriers to become the nation's leading low cost carrier is also being intensified. The purpose of this study is to select various choice attributes for low cost carrier and figure out important factors that customers take into account for low cost carrier selection. The study also involves in establishing the relationship between perceived value, customer satisfaction, and customer behavior Intention, in an effort to identify choice attributes that are important to customers' low cost carrier. Research design, data, and methodology - To examine these research models, samples were collected from 247 peoples who visited In-Cheon international Airport during June, 2017. Results - The results of the study showed that, 'reservation service', 'airport service', 'in-flight service', and 'price' services have a significant effect on the perceived value of the choice attributes. While 'reservation service', 'airport service', 'in-flight service', and 'flight operation service' have a significant effect on the customer satisfaction of the choice attributes, perceived value has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Perceived value has a significant effect on customer behavior intention. Finally, customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer behavior intention. Conclusions - Flight operation service has no significant effect on perceived value of the choice attributes of low cost carriers, which indicates that the low cost carriers have not yet been well-established in the flight operation service sector. It seems likely that low cost carrier will be able to gain a competitive advantage over other companies if they expand their routes and improve the convenience of flight connections. In addition, the results show that the price service does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction of the choice attributes of low cost carriers. From this, we may assume that the airline ticket prices of low cost carriers are already low, and the price cannot be a deciding factor in the competitive advantage of low cost carriers. To achieve higher customer satisfaction of the choice attributes, companies should strengthen the competitiveness of 'reservation service', 'airport service', 'in-flight service', and 'flight operation service'.

  • This paper analyzes how the service quality affects customer satisfaction and loyalty, focusing on a franchise restaurant company 'Wonhalmoney Bossam'. The result shows that store locations and food cost of the menu, as an additional quality formation factor, influence customer satisfaction and loyalty rather than the main quality formation factors. This study strongly suggests the marketing preparation of menu price and the choice of locations are most significant as an additional factor. Therefore, Korean food restaurants should develop their marketing strategies from the customer's point of view, and reasonable price setting and menu selection with appropriate location will create customer satisfaction and revisit.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 스크린골프장 이용고객의 라이프스타일이 선택속성과 고객만족 및 재구매행동에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 2010년 3월 1일부터 2010년 4월 30일까지 약 2개월간 부산 경남지역에 소재하고 있는 스크린골프장의 이용고객을 모집단으로 선정하였으며, 한 곳당 40부씩 총 400부를 직접 업체를 방문하여 배포하고 최종 332명을 표집하였다. 표본 추출방법은 편의표본추출법을 사용하였고, 설문에 대한 응답은 자기평가기입법을 채택하였다. 이들 설문지 중 신뢰성이 떨어진다고 판단되는 42명의 설문지를 제외하고 총 290명을 유효 표본으로 선정하여 본 연구의 자료로 이용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS Window 12.0 통계 패키지를 이용하여 요인분석과 신뢰도분석, 빈도 분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스크린골프장 이용고객의 라이프스타일이 선택속성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 스크린골프장 이용고객의 선택속성은 고객만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스크린골프장 이용고객의 선택속성은 재구매행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
