곡선형 RC 중공 슬래브교의 안전성 평가 사례 연구 (A Study on the Safety Assessment of Curved Hollow RC Slab Bridge Structures)

  • In this thesis, the crack investigation, the damage investigation, the drawing check, and the structural analysis were performed on a curved hollow RC(reinforced concrete) slab bridge structure to assess the structural safety of that. From the crack investigation result, main reason of crack occurrence is guessed with travelling of the large truck. Therefore reinforcement of slab structure is necessary by using the steel plate. When structural analysis, the straight beam model, the curved beam model, and the curved plate model is used. From the results of structural analysis for curved hollow RC slab bridge, the maximum bending moment and the maximum shear force was not a difference in each models. But the vertical displacement of mid span using the curved beam model was greater than that using the other models.

  • The existing AASHTO Standard Specification have some inadequacies in expressing wheel load distribution of bridge which has specific shape of curved bridge instead of straight bridge. Thus, this research presented the finite element analysis and modelling technique of prestressed concrete girder bridge having curved slab and the expression of wheel load distribution was suggested as the ratio of bending moment utilizing the result of finite element analysis of prestressed concrete girder bridge having cowed slab. The considered parameter of girder distribution expression is the curvature of slab, span length, girder space, cross beam space and number of lanes. Though the suggested girder distribution expression is generally underestimated below AASHTO Standard Specification, once the curvature of slab increases, the suggested expression gets larger than AASHTO LRFD Standard Specification.

상하 비대칭 롤러를 이용한 이중곡면 성형의 변형특성에 대한 연구 (Deformation Characteristics of Compound Curved Plate Bending by Asymmetric Rollers)

  • Die-less forming is a cold forming process which is to bend thick flat plates into compound curved plates using two asymmetric rollers. This forming method has several advantages compared with line heating which is widely used to fabricate compound curved pieces in shipyards. The die-less forming, however, has scarcely been studied. Even the deformation mechanism in this forming process has not been understood clearly. So, in this paper, the deformation characteristics of die-less forming is investigated analytically and numerically. for the analytic investigation, slab method based on equilibrium equation is applied. And the mechanism of curvature generation is derived for the asymmetry in roller applied. And three dimensional numerical analyses are performed with realistic modeling of interactions between the rollers and work-piece using finite element program, ABAQUS. It is shown that curvature generation is mainly due to the difference of normal positive strain distribution between the top and bottom surface of the work-piece. And a convex-type curved plate is formed if the center region of the work-piece is rolled with asymmetric rollers of which the lower is larger than the upper in diameter.

Optical-Loss Measurement of a Silicon-Slab Waveguide

  • A mirror-in-slab waveguide is fabricated on a slab waveguide by using the refractive-index contrast between two materials, with the reflection performance depending on the slab waveguide's design. In this research, a slab waveguide design consisting of silicon (Si) as the core and SiO2 as the substrate was designed and developed to determine the coupling, waveguide, and mirror losses. Based on experimental results, coupling loss is dominant and is affected by the design of the slab waveguide. Furthermore, the mirror loss is affected by the design of the mirror, such as the curvature radius and the size of the mirror. TE and TM polarizations of light are used in the measurements. The experimental results show that mirror losses due to reflection by mirrors are 0.011 dB/mirror and 0.007 dB/mirror for TE and TM polarizations respectively. A simulation was performed to confirm whether the size of mirror is sufficient to reflect the input light, and to check the quality of the surfaces of fabricated mirrors.

  • 본 논문에서는 열 두가지의 가능한 지지조건을 갖는 연속 곡평면 2방향 슬래브 시스템에 대하여 실용적이고 간편한 수치해석과 최적 설계 방법을 제시하였다. 얇은 곡평판의 탄성이론에 의하여 유도된 설계모멘트 계수를 이용하여, 구조해석을 하는 수치해석 방법을 본 연구에서는 사용하였다. 최적화의 결과는 한계상태 설계법에 의해서 정의된 feasible 영역내에서 결정되도록 유도하였으며 슬래브의 주재료 경비함수를 변형시켜 유도한 목적함수는 한계상태 설계의 규정에 따라 역학적 거동의 문제와 사용성 제약조건을 모두 만족하연서 최적화에 이르도록 하였다. 형성된 최적화 문제는 고차의 비선형 문제로 유도 되었으며 이 비선형 최적화 문제를 연속 선형계획법을 이용하여 해석하므서 슬래브의 유효깊이와 중간대 및 주열대의 단위폭당 변형시킨 철근비들의 최적 설계변수들을 구하였다.

급곡선 자갈궤도의 궤도변형에 관한 매개변수 해석 (Parametric analysis on Deformation of Sharp Curved Ballasted Track)

  • A sharp curved ballasted track on earthwork that was connected with a direct fixation slab track on steel box railway bridges have been deformed and damaged despite the frequently maintenance by a restoring force of sharp curved rail and track-bridge interaction forces such as axial forces and longitudinal displacement of continuous welded rail(CWR) owing to their structural characteristics, calling for alternatives to improve the structural safety and track irregularity. In this study, the authors aim to prove a cause of deformation for the sharp curved ballasted tracks to enhance the structural safety and track irregularity of ballasted track in service. A track-bridge interaction analysis and a finite-element method analysis for the sharp curved ballasted track were performed to consider the axial force and longitudinal displacement of CWR, the temperature and the effect of restoring force of sharp curved rail. From the results, the deformation of the sharp curved ballasted track with adjusted sleeper spacing from 833mm to 590mm were significantly reduced.

  • In this study, a computer program was developed for analysis of the orthotropic curved ring sector plates. In the developing program , the thin-plate theory and multi-base coordinate system was adopted. The effect of design factors-boundary conditions, loading conditions, steel ratio, open angle, radius of curvature and relative flexural rigidity between slab and edge-beam-on the behavior of the circular ring sector plates were discussed. Also, the practical limitations was proposed to replace the problem of the orthotropic sector plate by equivalent rectangular plage.

슬래브의 점진단조에 나타나는 변형특성 (Deformation Characteristics in Incremental Forging of a Slab)

  • Large load is required in forging of large-scale components which becomes a critical restriction in practice. In the present study, two methods of incremental forging were investigated for the purpose of reducing the load required for forging of large and thick plates. The forging was applied primarily to obtain fine grains by imposing large amount of plastic deformation to the plates. One was to use nine strokes with a flat die and the other was to use three strokes with a curved die. The die moves vertically in the former while it moves vertically as well as rolls horizontally in the latter. Deformation of the slab in each case was analyzed by rigid-plastic finite element method and as a result, variations of load and slab holding force, and distributions of effective strain and thickness were predicted.

곡선 강상자형교의 윤하중 분배 (Distribution of Wheel Loads on Curved Steel Box Girder Bridges)

  • 곡선교의 경우 구조적인 기능이나 미관을 고려하여 강상자형교의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 강상자형교는 비틀림에 대한 강성이 뛰어나고 폐합단면을 가지므로 개단면에 비해 부식에 대해서 유리하며 가설 시에도 안정성을 갖는 장점이 있다. 곡선 강상자형교의 설계는 관용적으로 가로보의 강성을 이용하여 윤하중 횡분배를 유도하는 격자해석으로 실시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 곡선강상자형교에 대하여 유한요소 해석을 실시하여 곡률, 가로보 및 다이아프램이 윤하중의 횡분배에 미치는 영향에 분석하였다. 해석결과 곡선교에서 곡률은 횡분배에 큰 영향을 미쳤으며 곡률이 증가할수록 분배계수가 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 지점부 다이아프램 외에 지간 중앙에 설치되는 다이아프램 1개는 윤하중의 횡분배와 구조적 안정성에 크게 기여하였으나 추가적인 다이아프램의 설치는 하중의 횡분배에 크게 영향을 주지 못하였다. 콘크리트 슬래브 강성은 가로보에 의한 횡분배 효과보다 크게 나타난 것으로 곡선 강박스교 설계 시에는 콘크리트 슬래브 강성의 횡분배 효과를 고려하여야 할 것이다.

  • R.C. Rahmen bridges have been widely constructed in the location of interchange or narrow road crossing. In addition, skewed or curved rahmen bridges are mostly constructed in comparison with normal rahmen bridges for the purpose of maintaining the route of road or considering the beauty of bridge. However, due to the functional characteristics, rahmen bridges are sustained under the direct vehicle loads and the side directional earth pressure so that the stress concentration with respect to the geometrical eccentricity can be occurred if rahmen bridges are constructed in large amount of skew. In this investigation, the behavior of skewed rahmen bridges which is located in curved route has been analysed to investigate the additional effects on the change of stress concentration. As a result, it is judged that the stress of curved rahmen bridges is more concentrated than the stress of straight rahmen bridges in the region of obtuse angle. However, in the middle of slab, the curve does not affect on the stress concentration.
