A novel resonant pulse control in resonant DC link inverter (공진형 직류 링크 인버터의 공진 펄스 제어기)

  • A novel resonant pulse control technique which generates high-quality sinusoidal output voltage from a resonant dc link inverter is presented for UPS applicatons. The proposed control technique limits resonant voltae overshoot without any passive or active clamp circuit, resulting in resonant pulses iwth uniform amplitude and high efficiency. The output voltage is controlled by the third order contorller iwth an inner loop of th efilter inductor current and the feedforward controller. Analysis and design of the proposed control technique are illustrated and verified on a 5kVA experimental unit.

  • This paper describes a new method of detecting rotor position in switched reluctance motor(SRM). Some strategies of position sensorless control methods for the motor include the measurement of phase current and applied pulse voltage in an unexcited phase. The principle of the estimation of a rotor position is based on the detection of inductance by pulse currents. Suggested method is verified by some experimental tests.

  • In this paper, the theory of pulse frequency modulated DC/DC power converter to obtain constant output voltage for all input voltage changes is discussed. The switch controller consisting of integrator and comparator determines the ON time of power switch-Thyristor-by the error between the load voltage and a load reference voltage. Resulting voltage and current waveforms have been studied theoretically in detail and verified experimentally for a resistive and inductive load condition. State equations for voltages and currents using binary logic variables are computed by digital computer. Comparison of these withe oscillograms obtained from an experimental model shows very close agreement.

  • This paper proposes a PWM circuit using CMOS OTAs. The features of the proposed PWM circuit are IC oriented circuits, simple configuration, and bias current controlled output. In order to verily the validity of the proposed circuit, it is simulated by H-SPICE program. Futhermore, the proposed circuit is integrated on chip using 0.35 $\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS technology.

  • Nonlinear protection of overcurrent induced on parallel two-wire transmission line by electromagnetic pulse is analyzed. This algorithm is implemented numerically and simulation result for simple incident pulse and nonlinear type agrees with its analytic solution.

  • The pulse generating circuit system of the so-called turbulently-heated theta pinch is experimentally investigated, and its results are compared with the predictions based on the conventional theory. The conventional theory assumes that the impedance of the pinch coil is independent on the time rate of change in voltage (or current) across the pinch coil. The experimental pulse height of the voltage actross the pinch coil is about 1.5% fo that predicted by the conventional theory.

  • In this paper, we designed and fabricated a fast switching system for high power pulse. This system consists of a voltage conversion circuit, high voltage charging circuit, trigger circuit, and discharging circuit. Especially discharging line is designed by strip-line for low inductance and resistance. The experimental result is that current slew rate of the system is 6.67kA/86ns and this result is fully qualified for initiating EBW or EFI
