첨두전류모드 제어기로 구동되는 병렬 승압컨버터의 전류분배 제어기 (Current Balance Controller for Parallel Boost Converter with Peak Current Mode Control)

  • In the paralleled converter module with peak current mode control, current imbalance appears when the voltage controllers with integral control of converter module are not exactly identical. In this paper, the voltage controller is designed to equal the current command of each converter module using the current command bus. The current balance controller is also proposed to balance the average currents of converter modules with imbalaced inductance. It is designed to have good transient response. Proposed method is implemented with the paralleled 2-module and 4-module boost converters with imbalanced inductance. Experimental results verify the performance of current share during both steady and transient states of converter.

  • With the rapid development of electronic commerce, online reputation management systems are of increasing importance in building trust and managing risk. Reputation rating mode and aggregating method are the most crucial parts of a reputation management system. In this paper, we analyze the merits and disadvantages associated with the rating mode and aggregating approach of current reputation management systems, and put forward some suggestions. These suggestions are helpful in improving current reputation management systems and developing new reputation management systems.

  • The performance of the InGaAs/InP avalanche photodidodes operated in Geiger-mode was investigated for 1550nm wavelengths at room temperature. We find the optimal operating points where the high quantum detection efficiency and low dark current are achieved. For the optical pulse detection, the gated-mode is used to reduce the dark current.

  • In this paper, a digital average current mode control using diode current sensing technique is proposed. Although the conventional inductor current sensing technique is widely used, the sensed signal of the current is negative. As a result, it requires an additional circuit to be applied to general digital controller ICs. The proposed diode current sensing method not only minimizes the peripheral circuit around the digital IC but also consumes less power to sense current information than the inductor current sensing method. The feasibility of the proposed technique is verified by experiments using a 500W power factor correction (PFC) boost rectifier.

  • In this paper, interleaved boost converter is applied as a pre-regulator in switch mode power supply. Interleaved Boost Power Factor Preregulator (IBPFP) can reduce input current ripple as a simple voltage control loop only without inner current loop, because input current is divided each 50% by two switching devices. IBPFP can be classified as three cases from duty ratio condition in continuous current mode and be carried out state space averaging small signal modeling. According to modeling, the PID controller is applied and voltage control loop is constructed for suitable design condition. From frequency domain analysis, it is verified that control system is satisfied with design condition of switch mode power supply.

Design of LTPS TFT Current Mode Multiplexer and MUX-based Logic Gates

  • With the aim of creating a high-quality display system with value-added functions, we designed a current mode multiplexer for LTPS TFT devices. The multiplexers had less than 1 volt logic swing, and speed improvement was evident compared with that of conventional CMOS architecture. We refined the multiplexer to achieve a more stable current steering operation. By using the versatility of the multiplexer, a new NAND/AND and NOR/OR logic gates were designed through the simple modification of signal connections. Two micron LTPS TFT parameters were used during the HSPICE simulation of the circuits.

  • The output voltage of Synchronous Generator is regulated constantly by field current control in excitation system. A synchronous generator is equipped with an automatic voltage regulator(AVR), which is responsible for keeping the constant output voltage under normal operating conditions about various levels. High frequency PWM converter (Current Mode Control Buck converter) type excitation system for synchronous generator is able to sustain output voltage level properly when the fault condition happened. This paper deals with the design and evaluation of the excitation system controller for a synchronous generator to improve the steady state and transient stability. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed excitation system is improve the respons time by the AVR(automatic voltage regulator) of 50kW synchronous generator that is applied the current mode control excitation system.

  • This paper presents average current-mode control AC/DC ZVT(Zero Voltage Transition) Boost Converter. This boost converter perceives feed forward signal of input and feedback signal of output for average current-mode control proposed converter employs active-clamp method for ZVT. This converter gives the good PFC(Power Factor Correction), low line current hormonic distortions and tight output voltage regulations. This converter also has a high efficiency by active-clamp method. The principle of operation, feature, and design considerations are illustrated and verified through the experiment with a 150W, 120kHz prototype converter.

  • This paper presents the realization of a multiple-input maximum circuit, which is operated in a current-mode. The proposed circuit operates with bi-directional input current signal and employs 5n+4 transistors for n inputs. The realization method is suitable for fabrication using CMOS technology. The proposed circuit is useful building block for the real-time systems. The performances of the proposed bi-directional maximum circuit were studied using the PSPICE analog simulation program. The simulation results verified the circuit performances are agreed with the expected values.

  • 전류모드 제어시 전류루프에는 표본화 효과에 의해 저주파 모델로는 예측하기 어려운 고주파 성분이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 영전압 스위칭 하프 브리지 컨버터의 정상상태에서의 출력전압 관계식을 구한다 또 이를 바탕으로 전류모드로 제어할 때 전류루프에 존재하는 표본화 효과를 고려하여 저주파 소신호 모델이 예측하기 어려운 고주파 성분의 특성을 표본화 이득을 통하여 더욱 정확히 예측할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.
